Hi all sorry not posted have just caught up. I've been bleeding again too am going to give midwife a call tomorrow and see what she says. Really hoping it's not bad news but have been anxious thought this pregnancy as never had any of this with my last one.

UppityStitch · 04/02/2018 19:45

Thank you @RedRobin7. Oh dear! We have a 'Requires Improvement' but the comments mentioned that the data assessed was from my hospital and another that's part of the same trust with VERY different demographics. I had DS there in 2014, although it wasn't perfect I was happy on the whole. The next best is in London or Kingston and reviews from people I know are mixed

I'm sorry you and @Kingy2910 are spotting.

Twinkletoes2018 · 04/02/2018 19:59

Just trying to catch @MrsCaecilius I hope that your scan goes well and @UppityStitch I hope the uti improves soon how awful for you. I've not had the best week there's been a bit of a fallout with my mum and ive been upset I've felt so stressed that I've booked a scan for tomorrow night I'm worried that the stress will have affected the baby. I'm just in the bath trying to chill out. On a positive note I told my grandma I was pregnant today and when she found out I was going to be on my own for a week while my husband goes skiing she's insisted on coming up to keep me company and I feel so much better as I was actually worrying about being on my own that week in case anything went wrong with the pregnancy. Really nice that she wants to come up and see us.

HannahJH · 04/02/2018 21:11

Sorry to everyone spotting that you’re going through a stressful time. I spotted for 3 weeks with DD and was constantly terrified but she’s now 13 months old so it can be nothing.

Thinking of telling parents on my 30th birthday on valentines that I’m preg. I’ll be getting on for 9 weeks by then :) it just makes it seem so real! When are you all telling family xx

Nixen · 04/02/2018 21:17

I’m hoping to tell my parents next Friday (they live 400 miles away and are visiting for the weekend!) - I’ll be 10w 4d. Think I’m going to wrap up a photo frame with a scan picture for them. Eeeeee

Namechangedtoscream · 04/02/2018 21:18

Had to break it to everyone today. My teenager had a melt down that they're not happy and can't come home from their dad's because the tension in the house is so much.

So I had to tell her and my parents why me and DH have been so distant lately. Which was shit. Our scan is tomorrow and I had to explain that the news may change again tomorrow.

Scout2018 · 04/02/2018 22:03

Good luck with the scan tomorrow namechanged.

I've been having strong cramps today and yesterday - shooting pains up to my belly button, both evenings. I'm very active so hoping i haven't overdone it, but the midwife said to keep going as usual. It's all such a worry when you can't check up on them!

Halfpint82 · 05/02/2018 00:17

Hi ladies!!
Thought I'd post on here properly for the 1st time..... DH n I went for a private scan today after me constantly worrying ( I had a mc last year) there is a good heartbeat which we got to see (I'm still amazed by it!) & we are measuring 7w 6d which puts my dates for 18th Sept bang on. Got my booking appointment in 9 hrs so kinda nervous n excited lol

MonaTheMoaner · 05/02/2018 00:30

Congratulations @Halfpint82!

Good luck for tomorrow @Namechangedtoscream. You've been in my thoughts all week.

CuppaSarah · 05/02/2018 07:51

NameChanged That must have been a difficult covnersation. I will be thinking about you today, what time is your scan?

Sorry you're having problems with your mum Twinkle it seems pregnancy does not bring out the best in a lot of our mothers.

Congratulations HalfPint!!

I swear my sickness is getting worse, at 9 weeks 3 days I thought it would start to ease by now if anything. It's still no way near as severe as a lot of you poor things are suffering with. But the inconsistency is confusing.

blondie1001 · 05/02/2018 08:04

Hope everyone who has a scan today gets good news xxx

Shook2018 · 05/02/2018 08:39

Good luck for scans today everyone, and congratulations @halfpint82

@cuppasarah mine has been rough nausea all month, but when I hit 9-9.5 it got worse. At 10+4 I'm really hoping this is peak because it's so bad I think I've actually scratched my throat. Nothing except cereal and my trusty snack a jacks is staying in. So close yet so far to that glowing energetic second tri.

I've been to the gym once since finding out, I don't know how people do it, I have to have a sit down after taking a shower Smile this jellybean is trouble!

kirinm · 05/02/2018 09:03

Good luck for scans today.

I managed not to throw up this morning - I am basically avoiding food / drink until slightly later on in the day. Still feeling nauseous though. And shattered.

kirinm · 05/02/2018 09:09

Oh god @Shook2018 sounds awful. I'm 9+5 tomorrow and I could do without it getting any worse now.

Namechangedtoscream · 05/02/2018 09:19

All good one very wiggly baby with a strong heartbeat! Apparently I'm also a member of the tilted uterus club which is why my cramps are so painful but she said the fact it's wiggling is really reassuring and shows it's a strong one. We may, after 5 years and 5 losses, be taking one home

So sorry for being a dick on here lately and being so self absorbed

Kingy2910 · 05/02/2018 09:28

Have managed to get a private scan this morning. Not holding my breath

blondie1001 · 05/02/2018 09:42

Thinking of you Kingy2910 - what time is your scan?

Namechangedtoscream · 05/02/2018 09:43

Thinking of you Kingy and everyone else having scans today. It's a horrible wait

RedRobin7 · 05/02/2018 09:48

@Namechangedtoscream That's great news! Grin

kirinm · 05/02/2018 09:57

Good luck @Kingy2910

My clothes aren't tighter or anything like that and I've read that you should start to feel like you've 'got a thicker waist' by 10 weeks. I don't know whether to worry (about yet another thing) or not?

Kingy2910 · 05/02/2018 09:58

11:10

Namechangedtoscream · 05/02/2018 09:59

@kirinm don't stress. I didn't have any form of a bump with #1 at any stage I've got a gut on my because I'm fat but nothing caused by baby

CuppaSarah · 05/02/2018 10:02

Good luck today kingy

Congratulations NameChanged we're all hoping this is it for you!!

intelligentPutty · 05/02/2018 10:23
