Urgh this time is dragging so slow!!! Why can’t it be 12 weeks already. Booking appointment seems even further away :( how did some of you cope without knowing if the baby’s okay or not ?!
Have looked into early scans and was going to get one but ohs company won’t let him have like a morning off unless he works extra few hours a day and miss lunch! Like seriously, these companies are ridiculous at times!

@Gem173 I know the feeling!! It's dragging now. 9+1 for me today and spoken to the midwife and still not booking in appointment, apparently there's a backlog, seems everyone was at it in November!😂
Boobs hurt, still nauseous in the morning, nothing fits so presuming all is well for my flea at the moment, who is apparently the size of a pecan now!

Gem my booking in appt isn't until next Friday - it seems ages away, and I won't get a scan date til after that. I know what you mean about the month dragging in.

i didn't have an early scan with DS, and all was ok, so thats how I am getting through it. Also the nausea and boob pain are constant reminders

Congratulations on the scans and welcome to the new members! I really get how time is dragging...I’m only 8+2 today so still over 2 weeks to my booking in appointment and probably 4wks until my scan!

Thank god we got eachother! 😂 I’m trying to stay away from Mumsnet a few days a week as I always like to read peoples threads, some of them end up having bad experiences and then I worry more haha I just got to chill! Booking appt in 10 days x

Had my booking in appointment this morning at the local hospital (GP midwife is booked up).
My nhs scan is a week Monday but they won’t do the NT because I’m having the Harmony Test this Monday and they don’t want to cause worry if the results differ.
Had bp done, urine test and unusually had to have bloods because I was noted as not having had chickenpox in previous pregnancies. More bloods Monday and the Monday after!

Hey all, sorry I've been absent. My son has been ill so been looking after him.

I had some bleeding the other day so had a scan at the EPU yesterday. Fortunately all is ok, one baby with heartbeat. I'm 10 weeks on Sunday so feeling much more confident about baby being ok.

I had my booking bloods taken on Wednesday and booked in my 12 week scan. It's on the 5th February at 8.30 so not too long too wait now.

I am pleased to be joining the August 2018 club!
My sister persuaded be to join up today, last night she went out for dinner in London with around 25 people whom she made friends with on Mumsnet back in Jan 2008! how cool is that!

Lots of sickness over here!.... excitedly and anxiously waiting the date of the first scan!
We had a miscarriage back in Oct and were shocked and very pleased how quickly we got pregnant again!

Congratulations on your scan YouCantBeSirius very exciting.

It is a long drag, especially as January in itself seems such a long much. Gem173 part of what got me through the wait initially was adopting the attitude that nothing I do will change any of the outcomes anyway. This has got harder as time has gone on and now that my scan is less than two weeks away (by a day! haha) I am really impatient and emotional about it. But we'll get there .

@SpriteGirl is right @Gem173 - it's my first and I'm of the mind that no matter what I do, what will be will be. All any of us can do is our best. Can't wait to see little lamb on the scan next week but I am also sensible and aware that this may still show some issues.

@YouCantBeSirius I’m still on target for 1st August too and had my 12 week scan too! Not the best picture though and sadly we only get one 🙁 good luck to everyone having scans in the coming weeks 😊

Yey!! Exciting @Buk88 - congrats!

Just had 2nd mw appt..she came to house. This morn i went to loo 1st thing and had a bit of a bleed...but was red and not brown this time so am a bit worried. No epau slots available til nxt week so she said if gets worse go to a and e tonite (which wud be hell).

Wow! @YouCantBeSirius and @Buk88 these scan photos are making me incredibly excited for my scan on Thursday next week!

Also as a few others have said itchy nipples it's so irritating!!

Thank you @amzq87! It actually makes the morning sickness worthwhile! The midwife has said I should feel better at 16 weeks so keeping everything crossed for that! Still being sick 10+ times a day at the moment and can only face pineapple 😐

Congratulations on the scans! I can’t wait for mine but nervous too. I hope the letter has arrived today with the date. Worried incase I need to organise time off work for it as work don’t know yet!
