I hope you don't mind me joining the chat, I found out I was pregnant yesterday. Well Sunday really but I didn't believe it until I'd taken the second test and the line was super clear!

How is everyone feeling? Is anyone else expecting their due date to be 29th Sept?

Hi ladies....could I please join you're thread. I'm 8+4 with 2nd child. My Dd is 2.4. I'm looking for advice on a slight bleed I had yesterday. Have been to docs as haven't had booking appointment yet (have that on Tuesday) but have got appointment on Friday morning at EPU. I have never heard of this unit nor did I have any bleeding with first pregnancy. I'm just wondering what to expect. Any info much appreciated xxx

Kingy, the EPU will probably scan you to check everything is looking okay.

@IntelligentPutty a few months. My periods were so irregular and we weren’t tracking for a while and I think got the time of ovulation totally wrong until this time when I used a ovulation test and we got BFP! How about you?

It's been a while for number 2 to come. Hoping this is it as it's last chance saloon now. Had enough and we are lucky to have dd. Fingers crossed all goes well with this one but I'm keeping negative so I don't get too upset when it al goes wrong!!

Just weighed myself and I've lost 9lbs. Should I be concerned?

I don’t think so. I lost weight all through my pregnancies with DD’s until I was about 24/25 weeks and I only gained seven pounds. They were both over 9lb born!

@Kingy2910 the epu will probably dip your urine to check for infection and hopefully offer a scan. I am at the epu tomorrow for a scan I'll let you know if they do anything else like bloods.

So sorry to hear of bad news for a couple of people, life is so unfair. Hope you’ve got good support around.

I’m really looking forward to the nausea going now - surely can only be a few more weeks. Glad to hear others are fed up. Got my booking appt and scan dates through the post yesterday - there’s an awful lot of - you must attend, and you must do this and that - I know that’s their job but it feels very formal!

7+4 today and I've woken up feeling pretty much fine. Yesterday I couldn't eat a single thing without feeling like it would come back up. This morning I've just eaten 2 slices of toast and juice without even having to stop and take some deep breaths! And I don't like it!

Ds and now dd have a sickness bug. Our washing machine commited suicide. I needed to go shopping today as there's nothing in. As if early pregnancy wasn't crappy enough. I want some lemoncello.

Woke up strangely crampy today (8 weeks). Had a sharp pinching pain for about a minute on and off on the left side of my uterus and now I’m on edge. Put a wad in my knickers as I’m out of pantyliners just in case although it’s probably just strange growing pains.

I have so much work to do (from home, thankfully) so I’m going to hydrate, rest and wait for the nausea to kick in as it does.

Glad you've managed to eat something @Fia - my sickness keeps coming and going too. Most days everything I do is accompanied by retching which DH finds hilarious. I feel OK so far today though.

I got a date through for my 12 week scan yesterday - 15 Feb. It's starting to feel a bit more real now even though I haven't been letting myself believe it is after last time.

Mona the landlord is good at getting stuff done, but it depends if he wants to try and get it repaired(again) or shell out for a new one. His appliance people are reasonably quick with getting stuff done, but they always get sent the wrong parts, so it takes a million appointments.

Good luck getting stuff done today while wfh. I'm 8 weeks today and really crampy. I've had a few groin muscle aches too and it's hard to tell them apart.
