So sorry to hear that bambimad - be kind to yourself Flowers

Namechangedtoscream · 17/01/2018 17:30

Given the time I'll call them first thing and ask if it can be brought forwards. Chances are they won't as it's not been a week and it's not a heavy bleed

twiggy123 · 17/01/2018 17:37

Sorry to read this Bambi, take care xx

twiggy123 · 17/01/2018 17:38

Namechange I hope everything is ok. X

Fia256 · 17/01/2018 17:44

@Namechangedtoscream oh no, I really hope everything is ok Sad

Flybynight1 · 17/01/2018 17:58

namechanged fx it's nothing serious

Caimor23 · 17/01/2018 18:21

@Sals27 Congrats on your first! Thanks for the welcome. Been feeling okay, surprisingly. Nauseous (except when I'm eating oddly enough), but not to the point of being sick. And so, so tired!! Plus, @HannahJH I have a runny nose, which my mum mentioned she had when she was pregnant with me. I don't know if it's just the weather, or the pregnancy talking though!

Caimor23 · 17/01/2018 18:22

@bambimad I'm so sorry to hear that :( It's good that you're staying positive. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

@Namechangedtoscream hope everything works out okay fx

Molly54 · 17/01/2018 18:24

@Bambimad so sorry for your loss! Hope October bring you good news!

@Namechangedtoscream hope you're ok! Wish you the best of luck for your scan.

Flybynight1 · 17/01/2018 19:17

I attempted to make my booking in appointment today... 5 weeks away! So I'll be 10.5 weeks pregnant and they won't have booked the dating scan before booking in. Going to call the midwives directly tomorrow to ask if they will book the dating scan in now so I can have it at a reasonable date (had it at 14 weeks last time!) for the nuchal tranleucency

Paranormalbouquet · 17/01/2018 20:54

I wonder why they don’t just do booking visit and dating scan on same day. Seems like it might be more efficient.

I’m eating yet more toast for dinner. It’s all o can stomach today. Made an omelette but couldn’t face it. I’m already really bloated and am gaining weight even though I promised I wouldn’t as am overweight to start with (some stress eating late last year piled on a stone). I just don’t know how to eat better when I can’t face anything other than toast and sandwiches!

MoDip · 17/01/2018 21:36

Can I join?! 4 weeks 2 days, due date is 25/9/18 and it’s my first pregnancy!

loveulotslikejellytots · 17/01/2018 21:42

Haven't had time to read all the replies, but yes I know about the sauna and hot tub Grin I also won't be having the cocktails. And at the moment I really don't feel like lots of sex!

Still not many symptoms here. Not feeling as crampy as I did yesterday. No sickness and no nausea today either. I didn't have any symptoms really with dd so fingers crossed it continues!

With dd I did really like the R Whites lemonade ice lollies. Not overly sweet and really quench your thirst.

I'm still drinking normal tea, last time I went over to de-caf tea but it's horrible stuff. I'd rather just drink less of it. I've kicked my Diet Coke habit overnight, so I will allow myself a couple of cups of Yorkshire tea a day.

I've registered with the midwife today, just a form you fill in at the gp. Has anyone heard from their midwife yet?

Twinkletoes2018 · 17/01/2018 22:12

Sorry to those that are having spotting and cramps it's a worrying time isn't it? Yesterday I woke up for the first time with sore boobs and felt quite nauseous but today feeling normal again I don't know why I'm wishing myself to feel sick but I guess I just want to feel pregnant. I've been started on medication for gestational diabetes yesterday as rang up with my blood sugar readings and the consultant said I had too many highs. It's going to be a pain being diabetic so early on I feel my diet is so restricted already. Am seeing the diabetic midwife Tomorrow ahead of my regular booking in appointment next week xx

Flybynight1 · 17/01/2018 22:26

Paranormal yes totally! Or just give me the bloody booking in form and I will do it myself!!!! 😂

kirinm · 17/01/2018 22:33

I ate melon, cucumber, peppers and carrots for dinner. Cooked food is just unbearable at the moment. Urgh and the smell of the washing. God, I'm a bundle of laughs at the moment.

Paranormalbouquet · 17/01/2018 22:34

@Twinkletoes2018 I think I should try follow a similar diet as I’m on complete carb overload at the moment.

I have my booking appt next Thursday. Will be 8+6 by LMP although I think I’ll really be 8+4. They won’t adjust dates unless more than 5 days out and given that I’m very likely to deliver early it doesn’t matter massively.

I’ve been much sicker today than other days. Still nauseous now. Vomited a few times so I now have heartburn along with nausea.

Paranormalbouquet · 17/01/2018 22:35

@kirinm I wish I could face melon/peppers! All I’ve had today is toast with almond butter and toast with cheese. I tried an apple but couldn’t swallow it. Might try cucumber tomorrow. I’m home all day tomorrow so hopefully will be less nauseous.

kirinm · 17/01/2018 22:43

@Paranormalbouquet I read a blog that suggested watery veg and fruit and I'm bloody determined to get something healthy in. It's okay at the moment although the lost of what I can stomach is getting smaller everyday. I'm coming to the realisation that I need to eat every hour or two just to keep functioning. Today has definitely been my worst day nausea wise so far. I'm really terrified of actually being sick.

kirinm · 17/01/2018 22:44

*the list

zooz · 17/01/2018 23:32

Booking and scan on the same day would be a good idea Paranormal.

My boobs are killing me this evening! Got my booking appointment sorted for 9 weeks. Spoke to the midwife on the phone because I had HELLP in my last pregnancy and had a c-section at 31 weeks. She said there's not much point seeing her any earlier as I won't see a doctor any sooner and I'll still have to wait till 12 weeks for my first scan. I just want the next 5 weeks to hurry up so I can get the ball rolling and get some reassurance that this pregnancy will be consultant-led and anything worrying will be picked up a lot sooner.

Paranormalbouquet · 18/01/2018 05:56

@kirinm it does change daily- on Sunday I couldn’t face the full roast dinner but had a little plain chicken with roasted celeriac/carrot/parsnip. But since Monday have had trouble with anything that’s not beige. Tried grapes/apples yesterday but they tasted like vinegar. Hoping working from home will help today so will get some really fresh peppers, cucumber and melon maybe to try. At the weekend I even had some time without any nausea so it could lift as quickly as it starts of course!

Anyone else awake listening to the wind?!

kirinm · 18/01/2018 06:58

I'm now waking up around 2:30am needing the toilet and heard the wind! I was hoping it would blow down an annoying tree in my garden but sadly, it's still there.

I am constantly dreaming that I'm bleeding. It's really stressful especially today as I've woken up with backache.

Paranormalbouquet · 18/01/2018 07:34

@kirinm that’s really upsetting I’m sure, glad all is ok when you wake. I’m having all sorts of aches and pains, just learning to accept them now!

I had a dream that I fainted while giving a lecture. Hope it’s not prophetic as I’m giving one tomorrow! Will be bad enough trying to get through it with mints!

@Namechangedtoscream hope you get some help today, and that the spotting has settled.

iamloading · 18/01/2018 07:40

Urgh been up for hours with a horrendous cold - is it bad that I'd willingly trade DH in right now for a Strepsil?!!! 😂
