September 2018.... still trying to believe it's a BFP

Starting a thread with cautious optimism, BFP on Christmas Eve and again today (on ic, first response and CB digital Blush) If all goes well EDD 3 Sept. this will be DC2 for us, DS is 13 months and completely shocked as this was first month TTC when last time took 6 months. Hope to have some company here soon Grin

Well I'm glad that symptom isn't just me then Grin! It definitely doesn't help anxiety though! I had a bit of nausea on and off this morning at work, which I got excited about! Also a few people mentioning for at least a week now how pale and peaky I look, so I don't think I'll be getting away with this for much longer until people start guessing, if they haven't already!

Fia256 · 05/01/2018 17:26

And welcome and congratulations to the newcomers!

kirinm · 05/01/2018 17:30

Had a scan. I'm measuring right for my weeks. No longer bleeding or spotting but I know that can be the case with early miscarriages. I have another scan on Tuesday. I'm not feeling particularly optimistic but it's hard to be optimistic when this could be miscarriage 6.

ShutTheFridgeUp · 05/01/2018 17:51

A very cautious hello from me 👋🏼
I'm 5 weeks today and due around the first week of September. I suffered a miscarriage in November so am feeling somewhat shocked that we were successful this month due to only DTD once. DH is proud of his super sperm!

This will be DC2 for us, DD was born in Feb '14

Paranormalbouquet · 05/01/2018 18:13

Kirinm I am keeping everything crossed for you. Reassuring that everything is measuring correctly and I really hope everything goes well next week.

Fia256 · 05/01/2018 18:17

@kirinm ah I hope beyond hope that all will be ok for you, especially when you've already been through so much! It definitely sounds promising if all is measuring as it should though! Will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get good news on your next scan!

Namechangedtoscream · 05/01/2018 18:23

Everything crossed for you kirin

LostMyBaubles · 05/01/2018 18:24

Kirin like others have said fx all is well. It's fab your measuring correct.

Back ache is back eith avengence

Any tips to ease it?

MonaTheMoaner · 05/01/2018 18:28

The extra wetness isn’t just me then! I’ve not noticed it in previous pregnancies but this one is full of extra worry so I feel like I’m heightened to everything. I’m definitely going to start wearing a pantyliner.

twiggy123 · 05/01/2018 18:42

I hope everything is ok for you Kirin.
The extra wetness I have had before in pregnancies. Agree with everyone about no children at scans, I meant other appts should be ok to have children if no childcare etc.
I hope everyone has a good weekend x

Hufflepuffinalltheway · 05/01/2018 19:55

Hope everyone’s is doing okay this eve!
I’ve been having some cramps but most of all hip and leg pain! Usually at night my left leg goes dead which is very annoying. I didn’t have this problem at all in my last pregnancy so it’s a bit strange. Does anyone else have this symptom?
Along with this I’ve been sooo tired and things are leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m so eager to be further along, I’m so anxious finding out so early but 6 weeks on Sunday! And I’m planning on a early scan.
I had to tell work I’m pregnant because I’m a support worker and it is potentionallg dangerous so I can only work with certain residents but already feel like I’m being treated differently which is always annoying!!
Anyway I hope everyone’s is well and feeling alright, remember to look after yourselves.

SantaBaby1 · 05/01/2018 20:17

TMI - Had some discharge earlier when I wiped that looked exactly like snot🤢 Quite a lot of it. Google says it’s normal and common in early pregnancy. I’ll see if it continues and might mention to my doctor if so. I started bleeding when I was 6w 3d when I had my miscarriage in the summer so I’m just on mega high alert to any weird changes 😢

CheekyPearl · 05/01/2018 20:37

@kirinm hold onto that hope! Sending love and best wishes your way!

@Hufflepuffinalltheway I am a support worker with some customers with challenging behaviours and have been umming and aahing about saying anything to work. Now that I know you have said something this early that has swayed me in favour of saying something for safety. But I don't want to get treated differently yet either Confused

CheekyPearl · 05/01/2018 20:38

Also glad that you guys are also having damp knocker trouble! I have run to the loo to check 3 times today!

littlepooch · 05/01/2018 20:46

Is there a list of due dates yet? I'm guessing most of you are early Sept?

SantaBaby1 · 05/01/2018 20:51

I’m 1st September due date, I’m 28 and this will hopefully be DC1, after 1 MC last summer. I live in the Home Counties.

muffyduffster · 05/01/2018 21:03

I'm 12 Sep due date, have a 13 month old DD, I'm 38 (hence the small gap but first month of TTC so was planning on the gap probably being slightly bigger!) live in Manchester Smile

muffyduffster · 05/01/2018 21:04

@kirinm relieved for you, hope it continues to be ok

Hufflepuffinalltheway · 05/01/2018 21:14

@CheekyPearl I think it’s best to tell
them, for you’re own safety more than anything else. It’s very weird having other people know and I’m trying my hardest to keep it quiet around staff but I’m sure it’ll become noticeable very soon, I just keep saying I’m on ‘light duties’. My first pregnancy I found out when I was 10 weeks and only tested cause I had a bad incident and thought I should check. I hope it’s alright for you and they don’t cause you too much stress, but once you’re pregnant you’re practically safe in a job and they’d be very wary of having you in any sorry of danger. Good luck!

Hufflepuffinalltheway · 05/01/2018 21:18

@muffyduffster I have a 13 month old too! I did want a small gap but seems a little crazy now it’s actually happening.

@kirinm thinking of you, hope you’re feeling okay 💛

FannyTheFlamingo · 05/01/2018 21:30

@Hufflepuffinalltheway I have a 13 month old too, she's nearly 14 months. Seems like a popular age gap!

needahugbug · 05/01/2018 21:54

I have a literally just turned 14 month old. Due 14th sept. Is there a fb group set up yet? My November 16 group have a lot of people also pregnant so seems popular age gap. I’m scared though !!!!

Hufflepuffinalltheway · 05/01/2018 21:58

@needahugbug I’m in a November 16 fb group! Do we know each other?

@ FannyTheFlamingo Very popular age gap!!! My little boy is 14 months on the 18th.

CheekyPearl · 05/01/2018 22:09

@Hufflepuffinalltheway that's good advice, thanks! Hope your work isn't too stressful too

needahugbug · 05/01/2018 22:14

@hufflepuffinalltheway it’s TNB?
