Starting a thread with cautious optimism, BFP on Christmas Eve and again today (on ic, first response and CB digital Blush) If all goes well EDD 3 Sept. this will be DC2 for us, DS is 13 months and completely shocked as this was first month TTC when last time took 6 months. Hope to have some company here soon Grin

We will be finding out via Harmony, DH is convinced it’s a girl but we will see! We won’t be telling anyone else in RL the gender though, although I might tell you guys WinkGrin

Paranormalbouquet · 05/01/2018 08:44

Namechanged I had nausea last night for hours (8pm-2am) and again this morning (5-8) but seems settled now (as suddenly hungry). Had some retching but no vomiting so far at least (diarrhoea ongoing though!). What have you found helpful? My stomach turns at the thought of meat- I don’t think this carby diet is going to help my resolve to maintain my weight this time around!

kirinm · 05/01/2018 08:52

Looks like it's over for me. Bleeding and backache which is what I feared.

muffyduffster · 05/01/2018 08:54

Oh kirin Sad
Hoping beyond hope for you.

Namechangedtoscream · 05/01/2018 08:57

Oh kirin lots of love.

Namechangedtoscream · 05/01/2018 08:59

@paranormalbouquet nothing seems to be helping. Last night even sips of water were churning my stomach. I take regular medication and that all came back up too. I tried eating toast - no luck, crackers - nope, fruit - nope. If it gets any worse and/or I miss a few days medications I'll be onto my Dr

littlepooch · 05/01/2018 09:20

I'm so sorry kirin. It sucks. Take care of yourself xx

Paranormalbouquet · 05/01/2018 09:23

Kirin I’m so sorry to hear that. We will all be thinking about you.

Namechanged you poor thing, that’s miserable. Mine is very intermittent at the moment- since yesterday I’ve been swinging between severe nausea and being hungry which is so strange.

littlepooch · 05/01/2018 09:24

I'm feeling very sick and that's what prompted me to test. It's very early to have symptoms but j had hyperemises last time round so i guess it's on the cards this time again.

We won't be finding out. I absolutely loved the surprise and finding out with my elder 2 dc :). Though I would love another girl to get the hat trick lol

CuppaSarah · 05/01/2018 09:31

Oh kirin I am so sorry, it's just so unfair. Please be kind to yourself get plenty of rest. There is so much support on this site if you need it. Flowers

LostMyBaubles · 05/01/2018 11:17

So sorry kirin Flowers

Herecomesanotheron2018 · 05/01/2018 12:39

Kirin I'm so sorry. I hope you get th4 support you need at this time Flowers

Those suffering with sickness and/or nausea, please do speak to your gp. At my lowest point, dh phoned the gp for me on Tuesday and I was warned I could be hospitalised. I've been given meds and although things are still rough, I am managing to eat and drink a bit now!

I will be finding out the sex of the baby. As much as a surprise would be exciting, I had severe anxiety in my last pregnancy, and know I was having a dd and knowing what she was called, helped me to bond with her and I would have struggled without knowing that. Our family didn't want to know though so we had to keep it to ourselves!

FannyTheFlamingo · 05/01/2018 13:33

So sorry to hear that Kirin. Thinking of you Thanks

Fia256 · 05/01/2018 14:38

Sorry for the tmi question now (is that really even a thing on here anyway?!) but is anyone else finding they have a lot of cm/wet feeling a lot?! I keep thinking I've started bleeding and rush to the toilet to check but it's just cm! I hate it!

LostMyBaubles · 05/01/2018 14:42

Fia yep lol

I'm a lil breathless at times atm and this cold doesn't help either

Was supposed to be going for a 'blsdder inspection' today but obv had to cancel

I have to see immunology next week and mw and have speech and language with my Eldest. It's going to be a busy week lol

SantaBaby1 · 05/01/2018 14:43

Yes Fia256 I have the same! I keep knicker checking BlushSad
I think it’s normal though?

Paranormalbouquet · 05/01/2018 14:44

Same here Fia. Had it with DD too all the way through. I can see it causing me stress in 2nd/3rd trimester when I’m worried about my short cervix not holding up!

needahugbug · 05/01/2018 15:23

Hi all had Bfp this morning obviously still eRly days but thought I’d join the club as did when I was pregnant with my dd and found it invaluable :)

Terriersandtea · 05/01/2018 15:24

Yes Fia this is happening to me too! I’m paranoid! Plus I need a wee every 10 mins so I’m constantly in the loo. I’ve booked an early scan for 3 weeks time. I’ll be just over 8 weeks if all goes well I just couldn’t bear the thought of waiting 7 weeks until the 12 week scan.

blondie1001 · 05/01/2018 15:50

Same here Fia!

Welcome needahugbug

Namechangedtoscream · 05/01/2018 17:08

Yup and with my history moist undies just makes me panic!!

Although tmi I'm more worried about throwing up and my lack of pelvic floor (Thanks dc1 for that!!) So I've invested in a lot of tena pads Grin

Welcome aboard this group is growing quickly it's great! We must be on edd of mid September by now?

dingdongdigeridoo · 05/01/2018 17:11

I’m wearing a pantyliner as I find the extra wetness pretty uncomfortable. Yes it’s a worry! Especially if it’s combined with an especially harsh cramp.
