Morning............

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
cameroonmama · 25/04/2007 15:18

Its very quiet isn't it? I just had a doze on the sofa while ds watches Mary Poppins. Such a lovely film! Julie can't your dh finish off the glossing, get yourself off to the shops! Do KK's have dollops of jam in the middle of them?

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 15:55

AM you are a sweetheart, thanks for the link. Could anyone take a wild guess at what size my boobs will be when my milk comes in? I'm only a 36B now. I just hate the idea of not havng things when I need them after the birth IYKWIM? Need to be prepared!

Abby hope m/w goes ok. Mine was supposed to be coming but hasn't made it yet as she got called away to a homebirth so have no idea what's going on now. It has meant that I managed a nice 2 hour cat nap curled up on my bed, wrapped up in a blanket that my mum had washed for me. It smelt like home Oh but only a week and a bit left to go. Is it normal to want to be at home so much with my family? It's just I'm completely pining for home, it's all I think about lol! Pull yourself together LW!

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 16:08

LW - Maybe go for a 36c and get one or two in that size. Then once baby has arrived and your milk is in you can get re-measured and get the correct size. Mine went from 34c to 34e and didnt change once the milk arrived.

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 16:11

I'm so upset that I don't have huge norks! I thought it was one of those things that happened in pregnancy - huge tits. But nooooooo, not to me. Grumble grumble lol.

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 16:13

my dh is scared of mine!!

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 16:13
Grin
Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 16:14

Do they usually stay bigger once you've stopped b/feeding etc or go back to normal size?

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 16:15

where is everyone....soh, lg&t, mrsjb, scoot, tyg etc

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 16:16

with ds i went from a 34b to 34dd then back to a 34c. Hope these go back to a c! i guess everyone is different

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 16:18

LG&T out with a friend, SOH and TYG have their mums down and scoot has driven to her parents I think. Not sure about Mrsjb though, yooohoooooooo where are you?

Right, of to make popcorn

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 16:27

ok i forgive them for not signing in today
i have texted mrsjb but no response yet.

enjoy your popcorn

juliewoolie · 25/04/2007 16:40

my boobs have hardly changed atall just up a cup size. I was the size of a grape before and now am just a satsuma which is a shame as I was hoping for boobs like Jordan. Think my DF was too.
Yep you can get jammy KK's and toffee ones and chocolate and sprinkles.................. right back on track dinner to make. I thought being at home and not working was meant to be restful!

largeginandtonic · 25/04/2007 16:55

Afternoon all

I have had a lovely day, sat in a coffee shop with OOOGS. Neither of us to our DH's relief were axe weilding murderers......She looked fab, and her twins are only 4 weeks old. They were sooooo cute, 9lb2 and 8lb6 now. Both were almost 7lb at birth Imagine carrying that around! I got to feed the little girl, oh it was so sweet, she snuggled on my shoulder aftrewards. Mine went loopy while i held her, think he could sense another baby! I could have taken one of them home, i have no desire for a repeat performance of twins.

Im knackered now, raced round town afterwards and dashed back for the school run. Have hoovered and polished and am now thinking about what to make for the mini demons tea. Pasta i think, i may make a mushroom sauce (tin of mushroom soup) Need to sit down but just know if i do i wont get up.

Maveta poor you, hopefully the curry\sex thing will work. If not read back to yesterday, i was telling SOH about the Caullohyllum homeopathic remedy. Take with caution though!

LWatkins my heart bleeds for you...... What time did she show up then?

Aaaaggghhhh KK's been thinking about them all day.

cameroonmama · 25/04/2007 16:57

Back from the park, re: normous norks, forget it, mine went from 34b to 36c then they practically disappeared after I stopped bf, so much so there was nothing in M&S last year small enough to fit me, the woman said, 'wait until next week love, when our TeenAngel range comes in' Imagine the shame of it.

juliewoolie · 25/04/2007 16:59

does anyone know whats happening re the meet up planned for April 30th. I cant find it in the message board prob looking in the wrong place.

ShowOfHands · 25/04/2007 17:12

I have a brand new toy! A birthing pool. I have, well the electric pump has inflated it. I sat in it and ate sour apple sweets for a while. DH is packing it away. It's fabulous, really comfy and like sitting in a big egg. I'm ridiculously pleased and as of tomorrow can go into labour and have my homebirth. Takes all of 3 minutes to inflate and with a hose takes about half an hour to fill with water. It's a magic plastic thing.

Survived shopping with my DM, bought some stacking units for putting nappies and toys and toiletries and stuff in for the baby. Probably bought some other stuff too like a sieve and things but the lunch break at Subway is pushing all other memories from my mind. Yummy chicken and stuff.

Health visitor coming tomorrow. Anybody know what she wants? Is she going to snoop?

Has everyone put up their nursery furniture? Mine has arrived today - is it too soon to put it together? The mattress for the cotbed looks huge. I am slightly nervous about it...

My half year review went fine, I think my boss was consciously trying not to provoke any controversial debate with me!

Pinkjenny · 25/04/2007 17:30

P.S. - does anyone live in the Northwest for a meet up?

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 17:39

No sign of m/w yet lol! I don't think she's coming.......

LG&T and SOH glad you had good days. SOH, what do you do with the water from the pool afterwards, how do you get rid of it?

Cam, nooooooo! Don't say that! My boobs are small enough as they are. The idea of going through 9 months of pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding only to find that they may get even smaller than pre-pregnancy is just too awful! Sob sob.

Pink I have no nursery furniture. Baby will be in with me in my room at home. She has her own (fairly large) wardrobe though. So everything will be stored in that, then I just have the moses basket, which has already been put up much to my cats pleasure!

What to have for dinner........

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 17:42

Oh and no don't think it's too early to put it together, but I wouldn't put things like the curtains and beedding up too soon as you may find you'll need to wash them again before baby gets here IYKWIM, and that's just too much hassle!

Lwatkins · 25/04/2007 17:43

*bedding

God, would be useful if I could spell. Must be sign that I need to eat......again!

aprilmeadow · 25/04/2007 18:07

I cant believe that your mw hasnt arrived yet. And you had to get up early as well!!

SOH, glad you have your pool.

AbbyLou · 25/04/2007 18:46

We have all our Nursery set up and ready to go. I was panicking because I thought we had left it too late! I am 37+4 today and I feel really weird because this is the exact stage when my waters broke last time. They went at about 5.30pm and by now I was sat in Triage at the hospital with my friend waiting for dh to arrive. Little did I know ds would arrive a few hours later.....
LW can't believe your mw did not turn up. I arrived for my appointment with mine a little early. Appointment was 4.06 (wtf?) and I arrived about 3.50. I didn't get in until 4.40, I was not best pleased - especially as all the magazines in there are crap. Who wants to read Derbyshire Life? As she was running so late I must have been in there all of about 3 minutes. She had the Community Midwife Support Worker (who?) with her and they were doing all the checks between them. It was like a comedy double act. While one was doing my bp the other was asking questions and checking wee sample! Thankfully all was ok and I've not had any headaches today. She said it's probably just hormones. She said baby is 4/5 engaged and big, she reckons about 7lb at the moment - oh great....

AbbyLou · 25/04/2007 18:51

Forgot to say, some people have success with boobs staying big. I went from a 36A to a 40DD last time - now that's impressive. I settled at 38C and have gone back to 40DD this time.
