Check it out @KTD27, unfortunately there’s no referral or discount codes I could find, they probably know everything else tastes crap!! I just checked and I bought 2 Mouraj merlots, one of the more expensive domaine de la Prade, rhubarb gin, teetotal G&T & 2 of the scavi + Ray prosecco s & my friend said she loved the prosecco so much she checked 3 times it was alcohol free!! I think she may be bulk buying to save on the delivery!! It’s all low calorie as well though not as much as not drinking I suppose!! I hope you like it!!

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 19/02/2018 17:19

It's our 20 week scan next week and the nerves are starting to kick in. DH just doesn't get it and thinks I'm being silly Hmm

I'm still squeezing into my 'fat' jeans but the game is pretty much up with them now, I can barely breath when sat at my desk my winter coat is also at breaking point but I don't want to buy another, I'm hoping it turns warmer very soon. As soon as I get in a building or on a bus I have to undo it so I can breath! Maternity clothes shopping is definitely on the list next week when it's payday.

Flatwhite32 · 19/02/2018 17:46

@lifechangesforeverinjuly I'm SO scared too about the 20 week scan too. We had our gender scan on Saturday and our little girl was fine, but obviously they aren't looking for anomalies. I doubt I'll sleep much next week.

karategirl · 19/02/2018 20:46

@Minster2012 So glad you're having so much support from friends and family. It must be such a relief to be able to share with everyone now, and have everyone excited with you Grin

Pleased to report that Cyclizine remains a miracle drug - I've only chucked up twice since they were prescribed, and not since Friday night. The main side effect has been tiredness, but I'm coping with that as it's preferably to the alternative!

I'm at 18+1 today. I've not felt any movement at all, but it's my first and I have an anterior placenta, so I'm not stressing about it. We heard the heartbeat at midwife appointment on Tuesday, and it was beautifully strong. Anomaly scan is booked for 1st March (eek!)

I'm still not showing - does anyone else feel really bump-less for their dates? I was at aqua natal tonight, and I'm sure some of the ladies don't really believe I'm pregnant. I'm still in my normal clothes for the most part. I'm sure I'll regret saying so in a few weeks' time, but I'd quite like to start developing a proper bump soon - at the moment I just feel a bit chubby! I'm wearing a maternity dress today, but it doesn't look like one, it's just nice and stretchy (and super comfy!) so hanging off of me at the moment. A couple of people commented on it, and were really surprised when I said it was a maternity dress!

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 22/02/2018 21:02

Had my whooping cough vaccine today.. bloody hell my nurse is the most savage ever - my arm kills!

Heregoeseverything · 23/02/2018 16:35

@lifechangesforeverinjuly I haven't had mine yet, but I've seen this complaint a lot on here - is it an especially deep vaccination or something?!

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 23/02/2018 22:53

The injection itself didn't hurt and I hadn't actually realised it was done (I hate needles too!) but it's still painful today, couldn't sleep on it last night. There is a scab where it's gone in so maybe it is quite a deep one?

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 23/02/2018 22:57

And ironically, I've started with the most annoying, tickly cough ever today - probably going to have even less sleep than usual tonight!

Windowgazer123 · 26/02/2018 08:19

@karategirl. I’m same as you bump wise. I’m 19weeks. Up until 18 weeks my stomach was totally flat.. in the last week
I can feel a slight curvature really low down in my pelvis and I can feel it when lying down. But no one else would be able to
notice it. I’m still in my normal trousers.

It has made me a little anxious and I keep looking up women’s bumps on instagram. The range is huge! It’s amazing.
I will definitely feel more chilled once
I have my 20 week scan (which isn’t until I’m 22 weeks... argh!!!!) and once
I feel a movement.

Are people all doing pelvic floor exercises everyday?!?

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 26/02/2018 11:14

My bump is really high up, like right under my boobs but it's also pushed all my existing 'fat' really low down, definitely starting to look pregnant now and a stranger noticed the other day. As you say, the range is massive though.

I've got a really bad chest injection and cannot stop coughing, which means my stomach is in constant pain and I'm terrified I'm hurting her, even though I know I'm not. Just about to go to the Dr now actually.

Scan is Wednesday morning so hopefully my mind will be put at ease.

KTD27 · 26/02/2018 11:18

Scan all done and everything looks fine! I have an anterior placenta which is what I thought. They’re scanning me heaps because our little boy has a heart condition and because of our previous loss to a genetic disorder but everything at 20’weeks looks bang on normal!

Windowgazer123 · 26/02/2018 21:05

@KTD27 That’s fantastic news! Congratulations

InstructionsRequired · 26/02/2018 21:33

Very jealous @karategirl and @windowgazer123 at almost 22 wks I am ENORMOUS! Find myself staring at the huge mass in front of me in the mirror wondering if it will ever return to ‘normal’!

Congratulations @KTD27 you must have been really anxious. Glad they’re looking after you with regular scans.

DirtyThirties · 27/02/2018 07:39

Another anomaly scan done here! Baby looking perfectly healthy and I am in awe that I got to see their little face Grin I second all the terrified feelings though, didn't sleep a wink the night before and so glad it's out of the way but I feel it's far too long to wait another 20 weeks before we see him/her again.
My bump is well and truly there, but people who don't know me well haven't commented yet so maybe it's not as obvious as I think. OH takes great pleasure in telling me how enormous I am though

DirtyThirties · 27/02/2018 07:43

Also, thanks to lifechanges for mentioning whooping cough vaccine, I had no idea that was due, midwife /doctor hadn't mentioned it! Will get on to the midwife today...

CuppaTea86 · 27/02/2018 09:27

Just found this club- hope you dont mind if I join?
Its my first pregnancy, im 20+2 and had my anomaly scan yesterday. Almost everything was fine except for a 2.9mm cyst in between the brain hemispheres. The sonographer told me not to worry but has booked me in with a consultant in foetal medicine for a repeat scan in 2 weeks to check its nothing serious. They suggested it might disappear on its own before birth.
I'm actually a GP myself but this stuff is way out of my experience! Just crossing my fingers everything will be ok.

Heregoeseverything · 27/02/2018 18:20

Welcome @CuppaTea86, hope all is well with your repeat scan.

And congrats to everyone on your 20 weeks.

I've just had my 20 week re-scan (due to baby's position last time) and despite feeling quite reassured last time (as they checked all except heart, face and one angle of brain), I managed to get quite anxious again before this one! All is well and I am so relieved, and exhausted...

Definitely bumpy here at 21+3. I have the opposite @DirtyThirties - DH tells me it's not very noticeable, but strangers comment!! I'm feeling little one more and more which is so reassuring. She gave DH a little kick last night.

karategirl · 27/02/2018 21:23

19+2 today and still not bumpy... One of the ladies at aquanatal last night checked my due date twice, and someone at work today asked me if I was sure about my dates because I don't look pregnant. It's a bit disconcerting because it's making me think baby's not growing properly, but I'm sure it'll come in time! Have the anomaly scan on Thursday, so we'll see what they say then. @Windowgazer123 I'm glad I'm not alone!

No more cyclizine after today, so hoping that the sickness has now passed of its own accord, otherwise it's straight back to the doctor for more pills.

@Lifechanges sorry to hear you're poorly, hope the Dr was able to prescribe something to help.

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 28/02/2018 05:46

Thanks @karategirl I was given some amoxicillin but they've not kicked in yet, been up since 4.45 and feeling worse than ever! BUT it is 20 weeks today, so I'm halfway there and have the anomaly scan today - finger crossed she plays ball this time and they can get everything done that they need to.

Heregoeseverything · 28/02/2018 11:52

@karategirl After 5 weeks of no puking I had a spontaneous vomit on Sunday at 21+1... never out of the woods it appears!

I think the bump thing is just another way we torture ourselves. "Is it too big? Is it not big enough?" Whereas I do like my bump, according to the recommended pregnancy weight gain charts I have gained too much weight Blush... I genuinely think I look okay from a weight POV though, just pregnant!

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 28/02/2018 14:47

Another 20 week scan down! Everything checked out fine and I can now relax until I start stressing about not being able to feel baby - placenta is across the front so is going to make it harder.

They were unable to tell if boy or girl but we have had previous gender scan so we'll stick with her being a girl and hope that doesn't change now we've decorated pink!

She was an absolute madam though, took forever to get all the measurements - several position changes and bladder emptying to try and get her to keep still in a good position for them to see all heart chambers.

Sonographer even commented that she hopes she isn't as much hard work when she's born. Grin

Heregoeseverything · 28/02/2018 15:55

@lifechanges Mine was the same - two scans, two pees, lots of sugar, 6 cups of cold water, a set of jumping jacks, a good walk and some salsa dancing later and they had managed to check everything...!

Minster2012 · 28/02/2018 17:04

Wow @karategirl no bump? That’s crazy, my friend started showing at about 16 weeks, she’s now blooming at 19, so proud of her, now word is getting round and I’m being stopped by ppl in our village and it’s crazy!

So pleased people’s 20 week scans are good, ours is next Thursday, our baby was a pain on the nuchal scan so I’m expecting the same again!

I may be guilty of buying a few bits and pieces though now, and we got our lovely owl wallpaper through for the room that will be a nursery so that’s exciting though if Won’t be out up until April. Has anyone else bought anything? It makes me feel connected to the baby to look at stuff online and in shops and it’s a recipe for disaster!

RaspberryBlonde · 28/02/2018 17:44

I'm definitely in the 'has a bump' camp, think the first person pointed it out around 11 weeks and am now huge! Mind it is my second baby plus I'm quite petite so there is only one way to go which is outwards. Karate I would make the most of it as the bigger you get the less comfortable everything is!

We had our scan today, everything fine which is great news. We didn't find out the sex but sonographer said 'he' a couple of times so my money is now on boy. They were at least cooperative, long may that continue! I hope everything goes well for your second scan Cuppatea, must be especially hard when you are more used to being the doctor than the patient.

Not much shopping to do here but I will have to start fishing all the baby bits out of the garage, we are mostly planning to reuse but that's all assuming it's still in the condition I think it is, the pram especially got used a lot.

Hope the antibiotics kick in soon lifechanges.

InstructionsRequired · 28/02/2018 17:54

Still can’t face buying anything yet @minster2012 Not sure when the magic day will be when I stop feeling like it’s ‘too early days’. Perhaps after the 24 wk appointment when the baby is viable we’ll start to get prepared. My sister and a friend both suffered still births and I think that’s constantly on the back of my mind, worrying that the same tragic thing will happen to us.
