@unicornsandrainbows1 sorry didnt see your message before I post😯. So sorry for you loss, I can't imagine how both @Akrady and yourself are feeling. I hope you both get the support needed in this hard time. Big big hugs and take care of yourselves💐.

Ilovechocolatetoomuch · 05/12/2017 06:44

@korez that's great news.
3 more sleeps till scan, I am wishing the days away. Hoping to tell DS next week if it is good news.

ClareB83 · 05/12/2017 07:46

Ah @Mummyloves09 that's lovely!!

I'm already counting down the days til the next scan. Just want to see my babies again. Especially since morning sickness etc has died down. Somehow UTIs and pelvis pain don't feel as pregnant as morning sickness and falling asleep at 8pm.

Mummyloves09 · 05/12/2017 11:56

@ClareB83 I thought I was the only one, sometimes I'm asleep by 730pm. I just need my rest. Plus I eat sooo much trashy food. But I shouldn't complaint to be fair.

ClareB83 · 05/12/2017 12:16

I know. I bought tights the next size up two weeks ago and they already fit!

I could blame it being twins but it's probably the office cake.

So sorry, @ArkadyRose and @UnicornsandRainbows1. It's the worst. Thinking of you xx

Mummyloves09 · 06/12/2017 09:12

Good morning ladies,

I hope everyone is well. I woke up super excited today for some reason and full of beans. I don't know if it's because tomorrow I'm 14 weeks and second trimester is a great milestone. Anyone feeling this way about heading into the second trimester?

ClareB83 · 06/12/2017 09:53

I did but for some reason I just started worrying last night about the 20 week scan. There is no good reason for this. Other than maybe finding out some friends (who've really struggled to keep babies) have finally got to 20 weeks.

I hope I'll get back to enjoying the second trimester again soon.

Hi ladies! Had our 12 week scan on Monday and I don't want to tempt fate but it was the first day in 7 weeks I haven't thrown up!! Feeling really queasy today but no vomming. Could I have turned a corner!?!From my dates I was 12 weeks last Friday but at the scan she put me back 4 days so by scan date I was 12 weeks yesterday. But she didn't change my notes or anything so not sure what to go by now EDD of 15th or 19th June!

Lovely photo @Orangesaretheonly and yes that could definitely be you turning a corner. I haven't felt sick since week 12ish.

Hello everyone 😊👋 I'm 10+4 I already have 3 children.. ages 8, 6 and 3. I had very easy pregnancies previously with only minor complaints.. this time round I'm struggling. I have very little energy and constantly feel sick, I'm suffering with bad stomach cramps (bowels).. Im a child childminder and find it extremely difficult to keep active during the day. Imy wearing travel bands, eating small meals, ginger biscuits you name it. Is there anything you've tried that really helped pick you up?

Orangesaretheonly · 06/12/2017 14:35

Hi @3boysandoneontheway I tried everything and to be honest the only thing that eased it has been rest which doesn't help you! I've just got our 2 dogs to think about let alone three children!
Bless you I can really sympathise. Eating little and often did help as the sickness got worse when I got hungry.

backformore · 06/12/2017 16:22

@3boysandoneontheway Sympthies! I didn't suffer the first time but did this time, and my midwife finally convinced me to try Diclectin. We're in Canada, and I think it's only available here (not in the UK)...but it's basically a combination of vitamin B6 and a tiny amount of the stuff in Gravol. It's been a total game-changer for me. Might be worth asking your midwife what their advice is re something similar? Apparently the growing view is that it's the B6 that really makes a difference, so a supplement could help?..

Mummyloves09 · 06/12/2017 17:03

@oranges nice pic
@3boys I found snacking on carbs and always having a full stomach helped me.

3boysandoneontheway · 06/12/2017 17:30

Thank you for your tips ladies I really appreciate it, I've been taking vitamin b6 for the last 2 weeks but it hasn't helped yet. I'm hoping in a few weeks it will fizzle out.. for now I'll just get use to looking like death haha x

ClareB83 · 06/12/2017 18:43

Week 10 is supposed to be the worst @3boysandoneontheway and it certainly was for me. So hopefully it'll get better soon.

@ClareB83 thank you I hope after this week things start to ease.. wow TWINS!! Twice the joy 😀 x

Sleeeeeepy · 06/12/2017 22:00

Agree week ten was awful, I've found oat cakes are really good for filling me up between small meals without setting anything off, I have two before I get out of bed in the morning which really helps. I started to feel much better a few days ago and I'm 13+4. Now have a stinking cold but relatively I feel great! Lovely news on all the twins, how exciting!

AmyH1840 · 07/12/2017 07:02

Hello all, new here!
I am 11+3 due 25th June and have my scan next Tuesday 12th.
I felt awful from week 6 onwards, nausea most of the time (unless I’d just eaten!) but on Tuesday that started to die down and today I feel pretty much normal! As awful as the sickness was, it was a bit of a security blanket and now I can’t wait for Tuesday to make sure everything is ok!
The chances are everything is ok, but there is always that thought at the back of your head that it might not be! I guess I’m just looking for a little reassurance that others have felt the same? (Which I’m sure is the case!)

Congratulations to everyone! Such an exciting but scary time xxx

ClareB83 · 07/12/2017 07:30

It's so normal @AmyH1840 even though I saw the babies at 11+4, I was still worried about the dating scan at 12+5. Silly but normal.

I still worry every day that I don't 'feel as pregnant' as other days.

Oh hello!! I've found my people. Although I may tip over into July. Due June 25th. We have two DS's who are 9yrs and 10yrs. They know about jelly bean and waiver between excited and a bit nervous. Scan is in a week and I'm excited but nervous!!

makeitpink · 07/12/2017 08:01

@AmyH1840 we are due date twinnies!! I had awful nausea and I've fainted twice but nausea seems to be dying down now and other symptoms like sore boobs etc have also reduced so I feel the same as you. Relieved to feel less shit nervous as I'm worried that I should still feel shit!!

AmyH1840 · 07/12/2017 11:32

Thank you so much @makeitpink and @ClareB83 ! It really helps to know that others feel the same 🙂 Sometimes you just need reassurance xxx
