Thank you for the "back up" re: forgein student EM and Eca - Exactly what I was thinking - although - the 20 yr old sexy Fench guy who loves children and can cook is making me fantasise now .... Mmmmmmm....

NO STOP!!! IT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

Ahem.

Wish you could join me for pampering on Friday too Eca - but, hey, hopefuly, you wil have had your precious little one by then, eh!!?

eca · 18/04/2007 11:52

Cd - I mean how stressful, not hope stressful!!

CaptainDippy · 18/04/2007 11:54

LOL - I can't type for toffee anymore so I wouldn't worry about it .....

eca · 18/04/2007 11:54

Char - sorry to hear no progress to report and that baby's turned back to back. Hope the exercises turn the lo round. xx

eca · 18/04/2007 11:56

LOL at the french guy! !! Could go the other way though and be a sexy french girl with no stretch marks, perky boobs and a size 8. grrrr

charNbump · 18/04/2007 11:57

Emmymummy · 18/04/2007 12:00

Actually CD, was thinking, now you've got yourself all sorted for a child-free pampering afternoon on Friday you're bound to have your baby. That is Sod's Law so it's bound to be the way it happens!

EllieKthePA · 18/04/2007 12:01

where the blardy hell did all these posts come from? i've only been off an hour

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 18/04/2007 12:03

Oh no!! Don't say that!!!

....but you are probably right .....

Woudn't be such a bad thing though - getting v.restless now ....

Hope your LO turns asap Char hon!

Right, DD2 awake, so going to go and feed her and then off out for the a/n. "See" you ladies later - hopefully with some labouring action ..... !!?

Hugs. xx

eca · 18/04/2007 12:03

Char - hopefully if baby has been back to front that's where they're happy and comfortable and this is just a blip until they find their comfy spot again. Just crawl everywhere!! I had a friend who's baby turned in labour too, so never too late. Swimming is meant to be good as well.

As for the pains, I've been getting similar ones too. I think it's all doing something isn't it? Can't be for nothing. >

CaptainDippy · 18/04/2007 12:06

EllieKthePA · 18/04/2007 12:12

i'm expressing some and want to freeze it in 'feed' amounts but have no idea what that is as i bf matthew for first 3 months.

I guess I'm lucky I've only got me to cope with (touch wood no more cat sick, anyway) and Mike should be back a bit earlier today than the last two days. But I'm so bored. Currently watching Cagney and Lacey, but I've already finished 100 pages of a book this morning, and watched what seems to be a very early episode of Location Location Location - Kirsty Allsop looks all of about 15 in it!

And it was my turn to throw up this morning, though at least I'd already made it to the bathroom. I had to duck a goodbye kiss before I'd finished brushing my teeth though - yuk!

Good luck to everyone else waiting.... my little one isn't even due for 6 days yet.

elkiedee · 18/04/2007 13:01

No, I'm pretty sure this is an old series repeated, the most recent eps I've seen show Kirsty Allsop looking very pregnant.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 18/04/2007 13:26

Hi loves.

Eca, you must be getting hacked off by now - hang on in there.

CD, have a good afternoon.

Charnbump, hope baby turns soon.

Back from Gym Tots where everyone was waiting to see whether I would still be "in tact"!

Now off swimming - well not me per se. I am going to be sat with the other mums enjoying some peace and eating biscuits! Still not sure if B is up for it, but I am going to have a bribe in mind!

Sorry have not mentioned everyone personally - you are, as always, in my thoughts. x

oooggs · 18/04/2007 13:34

Thanks Katy!!!! I posted this on the wrong thread can't blame pregnancy brains but can blame lack of sleep!!!

Hi all - congrats to mumcab, muminabigtumi, Octo & Liath

Thankyou so much for the support and encouragement with reagrds to the bf with the twins. I have now given up and we are a much happier family. I still get tearful and upset as I won't be doing it again but it was for the best in all ways. Emotions still running very high and they are 3 weeks tomoorw.

1B3 - wished you lived next door for rl support & hugs xx hope things are improving.

DH went back to work today and James is at preschool, not doing too badly at the mo.

mammyjo · 18/04/2007 13:59

Oooggs, glad you are doing ok on your own today. Enjoy the quiet while they are sleeping and get your feet up!!

SOSPL, enjoy your tea and biscuits at swimming!

weeonion · 18/04/2007 14:08

hey folks - wher eis the sunshne today. bloody freezing up here - i walked back from teh hospital in a summery dress - wont be doing that again!

char - get on all fours!!! my bean is also back to back but there is still every chance she will move between now and labour. i was scrubbing kitchen floors last night - reckon it'll be everywhere tonight!!!! shame yr mw didnt give you a full exam - but i hope it was all ok otherwise?

zazas - loved yr post! glad you are enjoying yr mat leave and having the bubba to yrself for a while. i think it is a lovely time! rest up plenty and enjoy!

bramshott - lol at yr registering! what a fab story for orla to tell int eh future as well - and a pic to show also! my friend at work was born in a helicopter hovering above a military hospital in hong kong. his birth place says "mid-air" which always makes me thinking of a floating labouring woman!

cd - like you i am getting organised. i have all birthday cards for the next month written, pressies bought, wrapped and in envelopes with dates for posting written and even had them weighed and stamped all ready to go! i am sad but it gives me a wee thrill to look at them. i even have all my taggy blanket gifts made and wrapped for my nct group - even tho' some are still to give birth! i have left pink / blue options at the ready!

eca - yr pains are doing something!!!
i am just back from the hospital. looks promising - 2cm dilated already, baby engaged, cervix all soft and thinned out. decided to take a membrane sweep - so if its gonna work - will do in teh next 72 hrs. i had been having pains, knufs but nothing so bad that i could really complain and in a way - i enjoyed it as i know it is all movements in teh right direction. so your pains are doign something!!

I feel great, very positive today and have induction booked for 3rd may but mw, consultant and I really dont think that i will go that long. mw reckons next 5 days - we'll see.
ooooooh - exciting times! have some mild cramps now bu tcoudl be something to do with the pig i have just been for lunch. i am actually embarassed at the amount of food i have just put away!

off to leave car to garage for mot - and a 3 mile walk home. mw reckons all this walking is bouncing the baby downwards.
