You'll need this and this

Katy44 · 18/04/2007 22:14

No I haven't - with the way I love food, I worry that I might get...ahem...carried away - in the wrong sense (i.e. sat on the side of the bed scoffing the chocolate body paint off the paintbrush)

And on that note, I really am going to bed! Sweet and sickly dreams everyone!

Night katy

Would just like to clarify that i lowered the tone purely for the purposes of inducing labour. Normally I would never discuss such things!

But while we're in the gutter - my mind was going much too dirty trying to work out what you meant by 'food thing' Ellie

Night - Sweet Dreams xx

Pesha · 18/04/2007 22:38

Happy milking Ellie

Have done that cd but did it through the consumer action group or something. Got £440 back off lloyds which was total charges but no interest. Should prob try and get the interest too but have other things on my mind at mo!

Am still contracting, have been since about half 3, been random with timing but so was ds. lasting over a minutethough but not really painful anymore, more just pressure on top of bump and squashing lungs! So still not enough to get excited about i dont think.

weeonion · 19/04/2007 06:24

morning folks! how are we all? pesha - i was half expecting to come here and find news from yourself? what is the latest?

has anyone heard how nuttygirl is - has mr nutty sent word round that i have missed. hope she is ok. x

i have been up most of the night with stomach cramps. i dont think they are labour related but more to do with the super hot curry i made for dinner. at least i think that is what they are..........

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:28

Morning everyone
weeonion, I hope you either feel better, or find out they're labour cramps today!

zazas · 19/04/2007 07:30

Morning. Each morning when I wake up I feel like I have a Big Brother announcement going on in my head "Day Nine of being overdue and still no sign of a baby" Honestly you would think that being 2cms dilated / engaged / cervix effaced / mucus plug gone that something would happen......! All I get is a couple of massive take your breath away contractions each evening and nothing else. Maybe it is a very, very slow labour and I am nearly ready to push without noticing

Trying not to feel sorry for myself as it has to happen sometime but it is dragging on a bit now.

So for my enjoyment I get to go and have another sweep today....and discuss the dreaded inducing situation.

That and I have to go rescue my car from the garage where I left it last night as it started to make strange noises when I was driving home from DD music class. Just managed to swing into the garage near to home as it was making one strange noise! They might be sympathetic to me and fix it straight away when they see just how pregnant I am!

So weeonion - you or me or hopefully both today????

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:32

zazas, you never know, when you go for your sweep things might start to happen. What time is it happening?

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:35

the buddy thread as I'm sure everyone is sick of me asking who their buddy is! Waiting for a message from YvieE!

weeonion · 19/04/2007 07:37

hmmmmmmmmm - just had my show so another sign we are moving the right direction. i am heading out to the shops as a craving for salty crisps has overtaken me!

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:37

ooooh

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:38

And doobydoo

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:39

weeonion - as far as I can see doobydoo hasn't posted this year. Do you have someone else's mobile no?

zazas · 19/04/2007 07:54

My sweep is around 10am!

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:56

Will he say: "zazs has entered the sweep room"?

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 07:56

Your BB announcer I mean...

zazas · 19/04/2007 08:00

Oh no don't start me thinking along those lines - now everything I do will have that voice going on in my head!

Katy44 · 19/04/2007 08:04

"The next person to be evicted from zazas womb is ... baby!"

LesleyR · 19/04/2007 08:08

Morning all

Just had the most sleep I have had in the week since George arrived. Don't think he'll be making it a regular occurence but at the mo I'd settle for once a week

We travelled to the North East with George on Tuesday for my friend's funeral yesterday. First timers be warned: travelling with a new baby is like mobilising an army! I've taken less stuff for 2 weeks camping!

I'm glad we made the effort to go up. I needed to say goodbye. It was humanist service and although I cried throughout, it was beautifully thought out and presented and in a strange way was an uplifting experience.

We also managed to fit in visits to DH's grandad (90) and my gran (83). It was lovely to let them meet their new great-grandson.

Congrats to all the new parents out there and good luck to those who are still waiting. I'm loving the baby photo e-mails

Might try for a bit more sleep now.

weeonion · 19/04/2007 08:09

katy - dooby and i have been texting each other and i have given her info to dp. i know she hasnt really been on here since milo arrive but i will let her know. my second wing commander is GMM - will also let her know.

i am not sure if this is it or not. i am getting pains, enough to make me "ooh" but not anyway unbearable. i dont know if they are contrcations - surely to god this isnt wind. here we go with one now. i havent been trackign them tho' - maybe i should start??
