Morning all,

Congratulations to MMK!

Meant to be lovely here today - all I can see so far is more of the same sea fog as yesterday so am but we've got a BBQ to go to this afternoon so fingers crossed.

Have had two brilliant nights sleep in a row - methinks this can't last much longer?

Anyway, loads to do before BBQ so have a great day everyone!

we up to 14 now? no labouring through the night? maybe there will be a weeekend lull after all the excitement yesterday?

Katy44 · 14/04/2007 10:38

I really need to clean this house so was planning to have most of the day away from MN. Could people please try to avoid having babies until tomorrow?

CaptainDippy · 14/04/2007 10:38

Yes - 14 born now - Popoing all over the place!!

Enjoy your shopping Ellie! Great excuse!!

Off to work now, hoping boss has restored the laptop so I can chat to you guys!

eca · 14/04/2007 11:25

congratulations mmk Really pleased to hear you're ok.

MIAMT - oh dear that sounds rough. Hope your friend has a lovely day and you manage to share in her day later on via photos and phonecalls. xxx

CD - have good day at work!!

Right, am going to try and do something today! Spent most of yesterday in an over-excited state glued to MN waiting for all the news!! Don't know if i can cope with more babies today!!

It's my due date today. It feels very wierd to have finally reached it, especially after all the early probs that I had. At 9wks, wondering if I was miscarrying, the 14th April seemed a lifetime away.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 14/04/2007 12:03

Eca, I hadn't realised you had had problems early on - makes it even more special to have reached your due date.

MIAMT, hope you are ok. I am supposed to be at a friends' babies christening today in London, and have had to stay home. I am going to miss some friends from Canada who have come over for the christening too. Such a shame, but just could not face the journey.

Andrej has gone up with Becky, so at least there will be some pictures.

Lots of love to everyone. Enjoy the beautiful sunshine.

Morning all - had contractions most of the night 7 minutes apart - put tens machine on to get some sleep which worked. Popped in to be checked out this morning and not dilated at all - but he is 4/5 engaged and back to back which explains painful practise contractions. He is still trying to work his way down - when have consultant appointment on thurs will ask them to scan me to check he can fit through.

I want to wait until next friday now to get the school thing out of the way! DO NOT SEND ME ANY LABOUR VIBES!!! Also may give him a chance to turn...

Have heard from Nutty - mad delivery with witch mw apparently - has stayed into sort feeding.

Hope you all have a great day in the sun xxx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 14/04/2007 12:48

Octo, glad you got checked out. No labour vibes to you then!

Poor Nutty and her witch mw - not what you need.

My TENS machine arrived today, so bring in on I say!

Is that everyone?

What alot of babies Perhaps I should go offline more often

Have just remembered ds has been invited to a playschool friend's party this afternoon. I was going to get someone to look after dd cos ds is too much work to just leave there unsupervised but completely forgot. So im gonna have to take dd too, ive told her that she wont get a party bag or prizes if there are any and cant eat the party food (although I imagine they'll let her have some but thought best if i tell her she cant and then see) and that they'll all be younger so she has to play nice etc. Do you think thats ok?

Pesha · 14/04/2007 13:21

May go and start an AIBU thread seeing as you've all deserted me , feel really guilty taking dd to a party she's not been invited to

hotlipsmummy · 14/04/2007 13:35

Afternoon ladies. Sorry for the radio silence but my feelings about labour on Wednesday were right!!! A little boy was born at 5.08pm on Thursday 12th weighing 8lbs. Long labour to even up the averages but got him out eventually!! Got home yesterday and all well, he's feeding loads and DS seems very happy. No name for the baby yet - so difficult to decide! But will be either Austen or Oscar...

Anyway I have no hope of catching up on all that I have missed but I see lots of you have now had your little ones too. Many many many congratulations to you all and hope everyone else is doing well.

Katy44 · 14/04/2007 13:45

Congrats to hotlipsmummy and mmk xxx

Thank you for all the yummy baby pics I am so Really impatient to meet mine now and so is beth all she keeps asking is "when is he coming he's taking for ages !!"

An hour seems like a lifetime to a four year old so god knows what she has thought for the past 9 months !!.

Anyway I hope you are all off enjoying the sunshine.

Take care all xxx

Hi Octo! Your dinner sounds lovely.. not planned anything so far.. might go eat some cucumber and houmous to pass the time.. been quiet on here today!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 14/04/2007 18:16

Hi ladies. I am sooooo bored! Dh and B have been out since 10.00 at a Christening - no idea what time they are due back!

Feel HUGE today - getting concerned that the baby will never squeeze out.

Octo, your meals always sound lovely.
