woke up at 4am having been dreaming i was in a running race, great north run type thing, and had to keep stopping to breathe thru contractions

aaahhh loads of cute pictures - still busy here contracting away - every 7-10 minutes all day today and some of them pretty painful. But not getting closer or more painful He has hiccups too which am trying to shift before tackle bed - thinking about putting tens machine on so can get to sleep.

My mum - albeit ready to jump in car and drvie for 2 hours in middle of night - is driving me potty! she rang when was out today and spoke to dh - so rang her back and she really has no idea whatsoever about childbirth or labour despite there being 4 of us! She says things like 'have you had any more pains since the odd ones youhad yesterday?' - I've been having contractions every fucking day for 3 weeks ffs! Its not friggin toothache And then says things like 'ooh 'ill pack my bag - do you think one pair of jeans, pants and tshirt will be okay?' - I don;t give a flying fuck what you pack .... as you can tell am being slightly unreasonable, touchy and grumpy!!! Dh has cottoned onto this and ran me a bath earlier and handed me glass of wine!

I think may go in and get checked over tomorrow - surely can;t contract for this long and nothing happen at all

Yes, weird dream - I have them from time to time where realt life intrudes. If I ever dream I'm running in the great north run I'll wake up in a panic convinced I'm in labour!

Octo, not surprised you are feeling hacked off. Really hope things happen really soon as it must be maddening.
