i know it doesn't quite rhyme but it does nearly, and it's completely inoffensive to everyone but Eddas

Right, am off to bed as well. All stressed out as we could suddenly smell burning in the house. Dh was very laid back about it, but I was freaked out leaping in to every room!!. I think it was just a fly or something burning in our floor lamp/uplighter in the lounge, but it really smelt awful! I am hopeless!

Lucewheel, sadly the mini eggs don't seem to have cured the indigestion, so regretably they will need to be washed down with some Gaviscon - Oh noooooooooooo!

Night lovely ladies. xx

Yeah Katy, Ellie´s right, it´s not actually a kick-off kind of thread but that´s hardly the point.. ours never are either! The big argument they always use is that it isn´t the content anyone cares about, it´s the title which anyone checking áctive convos´ can see. Anyway, I´m really not trying to fan flames or anything, it just annoyed me. Doubt it´s worth getting my blood pressure up about, esp. just before bed!

Pesha - LOL at suggested AIBU title....guess it would be something like that

octo · 09/04/2007 22:20

Haven't got to bed yet! Have just bought an out n about nipper 3 wheeler in charcoal from Practical Pushchairs and two bump bands off ebay so can wear my pre preg clothes sooner rather than later! I do love retail therapy - brightens my day LOL all I need now are some swaddlebees ...!!!

I really am going to bed now! Night night xxx

hensden · 09/04/2007 22:23

Feel really sick, no pains at all and bump kicking like mad, this my third should be prepared but AHHHHHH

Pesha · 09/04/2007 22:32

Was it a big gush of waters or not so much? Not that either would really mean much to me! Are you having hospital birth, sorry I should know but cant remember anything!

LesleyR · 09/04/2007 22:36

Congrats Waspelly at speedy delivery, but you seemed very calm about it.

Smole you're in my thoughts, I hope Jesse is well soon.

Thanks for mail EllieK the Dts are gorgeous Oooggs. Octo hope things start up again (and stay started IYKWIM) soon.

Forgotten everything else I've read, haven't been on since this morning.

Today is due date and I've had 9 phonecalls to see if anything was happening! 2 from MIL! You'd think the woman had never had kids, I know for a fact DH was 17 days late and SIL 9 days late. She's desperate to come down from Northumberland this week. Have told DH to fend her off. I'm still v. up and down about my friend and would want to hide from houseguests I think. She's lovely but I don't want Ps or ILs here until I've had the baby, or am in labour in the hospital at the earliest. Don't remember who said it earlier but I too am feeling like a "watched pot".

Anyway rant over. Off to find some chocolate to see if it helps with my heartburn [sceptical emoticon}

LesleyR · 09/04/2007 22:37

Missed hensden message as my last was so long.

Good luck!

Pesha · 09/04/2007 22:40

Hensden where have you gone?! Hope everythings ok and its just that having a baby is abit more important than mumsnet so you've logged off

hensden · 09/04/2007 22:41

It gushes everytime I stand up and walk about, it's a bit pink so was a bit concerned but hospital say if i'm not worried pink is ok

hensden · 09/04/2007 22:52

2 in bed fast asleep thank goodness might have to DS(8) up to go and sleep in my bed cos DD(3) went to sleep with me and might get a upset if i'm not there

weeonion · 09/04/2007 22:56

i guess that is what yr mum is coming round for then. how u feeling now?

hensden · 09/04/2007 23:00

DD is asleep upstairs, and my old mum can't manage stairs anymore so a bit worrried about that. Just reading pregnancy and birth book. think i've left it a bit late to refresh my memory. Back ache and tight but no real pain yet, probably join octo and go on for days

Pesha · 09/04/2007 23:08

LOL at you reading the book now like last minute revision for an exam! Little tip - the baby comes out 'Down There'!

Pesha · 09/04/2007 23:10

Sorry

Is Dh back yet?

hensden · 09/04/2007 23:11

DS was horrified when told the other day, he still thought it had something to do with your belly button and a special tooth newborns have
