Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Lucy1977 · 11/04/2007 10:25

Hi Fifi

I don't have any symptoms at all, in fact I haven't even gone off booze which was the first sign when I was pregnant with DD (just to clarify I've cut booze out).

Got a Doctors appointment later this afternoon to try and suss out dates etc. based on LMP and long cycle I'd be due the day before you!

How are you feeling?

Lucy

Lucy1977 · 11/04/2007 10:30

Hi Skidaddle

This will be my second DC, DD is 14 months so not too disimilar in age to your DD.

I'm going to the Docs later, over on the TTC April thread I posted that I'm a bit confused about dates for me. Had 2 days bleeding from 1st Mar which I counted as AF but on 4th Mar had positive test but as urine had gone above test line I did another one which was negative.

How are you feeling Skidaddle?

evilnamechanger · 11/04/2007 10:34

Hellooooo and congratulations everyone.

I tested yesterday and it came up positive! That makes me due end December. Am off to lovely doctor on Friday for a bloodtest/confirmation!

Am chuffed!!

evilnamechanger · 11/04/2007 10:36

Should add that not due on till Sunday but we have just started trying and I have had terrible nausea for days.

Probably a dud test and a stomach bug!

kandi · 11/04/2007 10:38

So sorry lissielou and barrelrider . There's not much I can say except I'm thinking of you (((hugs))).

Welcome all the new ladies, I'm having trouble keeping up with this thread now, lol! Sounds weird to say this cazzybabs, but so pleased for you that you're feeling sick! It is reassuring, isn't it. I'm feeling ok in the mornings, but in the evenings I've started feeling bad, and started throwing up last night.

fifisworld · 11/04/2007 10:40

Congrats ENC

Im feeling absolutley fine, my boobs are a bit sore but nothing else. I didnt get any symptoms at all with ds so fingers crossed the sickness will stay away this time.

I have a mw appointment on 25th April, and its with the same mw i had with ds and she was just so lovely so im really pleased.

skidaddle · 11/04/2007 10:41

Hi Lucy,

That sounds like you might be further along than you think? Hopefully the mw/doc will be able to tell you.

Same as you I have no symptoms except being tired, and find myself longing for a bit of ms just so I know it's real - I even did another pg test at the w/e - as if the baby would have disappeared into thin air . It's wierd - I didn't worry at all first time round but this time I'm a bit scared in case something goes wrong.

Let us know how you get on at the docs - maybe you will have to move to the due in november thread?!

skidaddle · 11/04/2007 10:42

Congrats ENC

daisyboohoo · 11/04/2007 10:56

Thinking of you both lissielou and barrelrider

I'm 5+1 today and not really sure if I'm getting ms or not. I feel sickly but more in my throat area than stomach. Is this normal? I'm also getting backache and a numbish hip down my left side. Any ideas? Trying really hard not to worry. Havent been to docs yet. I'm going to try again today after 2 disappointing previous attempts!

GemBean · 11/04/2007 11:19

Fifisworld - did you bother going to your GP? (as per your earlier post) When I was pregnant last time my GP practically said "what do you want me to do about it, see the midwives", so I wasnt going to bother this time. Not sure if Im supposed to or not??

cazzybabs · 11/04/2007 11:55

welcome to all the newbies! I am beginning to feel more postiive about this pregnancy bearing in mind I have ms for 4 days in a row (not actuly being sick but feeling sick) and am sooo tired.

JARM · 11/04/2007 11:59

Morning all!

Hope we are all ok. Im still not too sure about this one either, still keep thinking its going to end badly.

Everyone keeps telling me the sickness is a good sign and everything will be fine, but every little twinge and cramp i get scared!

fifisworld · 11/04/2007 15:57

Gembean...yes i went to docs yesterday and she just took my bp,worked out dates so im due 17th Decemeber, then booked me in with mw for 25th April.
Probably wasnt really much point in me going but i did anyway, anything to make this seem more real!!

mad4girls · 11/04/2007 18:07

sorry to hear about barrelrider hugs to you hun
its getting really busy on here now hey.
Im the same as u fifi been putting off going to docs incase they say go see the midwife, but im not sure how far i am due to dodgy cycle so hoping doctor might be sympathetic and have a feel round and say im really far gone and didnt know it, yeah right!! i wish

havent had many symptoms till this week woke up yesterday feeling so sick but couldnt be sick ended up feeling like that all day and cant put my arms by my sides due to throbbing boobs. but does make it feel more real only trouble is only thing stopping me feel ill is eating, ive put on 3lb already going to be a whale by the end !!

hope everyones well

GemBean · 11/04/2007 18:57

Congratulations furry! I remember you from ttc threads. Do you know when you're due?

Ambi · 12/04/2007 09:21

My name is Ambi and I'm an addict.

I'm addicted to these forums, I'm trying to stay off to make time go a little quicker, but I can't... I'm too damn nosey

Ambi · 12/04/2007 09:52

Went to docs yesterday, she was pretty unthrilled with my acheivement!! She asked if i wanted to keep it, took me a bit by surprise. But took my last peroid date, which will give wrong due date as long cycles, but I guess I will see the midwife earlier....

BeansterMum · 12/04/2007 10:08

Morning. Off to the Doc's tomorrow and trying not to build myself up - I suspect it will be a very un-inspiring visit but necessary to get in the system and book an Appt with the MW.

At 35 with one DD already, we're thinking of what tests may be prudent (if any?). Does anyone have any experience with the Nuchal Fold Scan? Not even sure if this is available in Stirling area (Forth Valley NHS)

How dissapointing as well that the lovely Dark Choccy Easter Egg DH got me didn't go down well at all!! Cheese sarnies are about the only thing that hits the spot these days!!
