Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 49th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 48th grads thread is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 63rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yep fuzzy, definitely call to see what they say. How are you doing now?

FuzzyOwl · 18/09/2017 19:33

It is just mild which is similar to what I had for three consecutive weeks earlier on in my pregnancy. I feel a bit crampy as well so wondering if I just did too much over the weekend without realising.

Luckily DD1 has been ill today so we have had a quiet day at home. I'm only a third of the way through so I really need to try to curb the worrying.

Hope you have all had a better day.

NovaArt3mis · 18/09/2017 22:25

It does sound like you might just have one of those pregnancies with intermittent bleeding. So stressful for you Sad

I've not felt the baby move much since we've been on holiday but she's doing acrobatics tonight. DH is in awe looking at my stomach moving.

The holiday has really made my SPD quite unbearable. To the point where I'm looking forward to getting home and into my own comfy bed soon which is a bit sad.

justtheonethen · 18/09/2017 22:27

Can't wait to feel movement Smile

I took my pregnancy pillow away on holiday Grin

NovaArt3mis · 18/09/2017 22:31

Hopefully not long to go! It's very exciting and reassuring (until they go quiet for a while)

Mine is fucking massive just, takes up over half my superking size bed! Shock

Thankfully I have family here so managed to borrow one that, whilst nowhere near as good as mine, has been a total lifesaver.

FuzzyOwl · 18/09/2017 22:31

SPD can be horrific. Are you able to get hold of an extra duvet where you are staying, so you can sleep on top of it or is it too hot there for such a thing to even be considered? It's always nice when the babies are so active, unless it is when you are trying to go to sleep! Perhaps the heat initially subdued her a little bit and now she is making up for it.

I think I probably will have one of those intermittently bleeding pregnancies but I think it is partly such a worry for me because I've never had bleeding before in a pregnancy when things have gone on to be ok. I'm 13 weeks now, so theoretically past the most worrying times although I don't think I will stop worrying until after I have given birth. I just don't feel pregnant either which really isn't helping things.

justtheonethen · 19/09/2017 07:47

So does mine nova, it had its own suitcase Grin
SPD sounds horrific. Are you seeing a physio?

pretzel I would find that worrying but I think it's reasonably common. Did you speak to midwife?

NovaArt3mis · 19/09/2017 09:52

No extra duvets fuzzy but only one more sleep til home time so I'll manage. Did you give mw a ring?

Hah good thinking just! My first physio is on Thursday, I'm not very hopeful on how much they'll be able to help though :( I already do all the nhs tips to limit the pain. Maybe they'll prove me wrong and have a miracle cure Hmm

TriJo · 19/09/2017 10:56

Think I've got another stomach bug, couldn't keep anything down late last night and keeping toast down this morning isn't easy... down with that sort of thing.

NovaArt3mis · 20/09/2017 05:56

Oh dear, how are you this morning tri, managed to keep the rest of the family bug-free so far?

How are you doing fuzzy?

TriJo · 20/09/2017 07:49

Nobody else seems to have it thankfully and C slept the night. Small mercies!

DH committed the grave offence last night though of taking the last white chocolate buttons while I was putting C to bed... /deathglare

pretzelpieces · 21/09/2017 18:31

tri sorry you're poorly. Eating the last buttons is definitely unforgivable (although at least it wasn't proper chocolate) 😜

fuzzy oh I can imagine it is worrying. Definitely keep phoning them, it's good for them to keep an eye on you anyway but as you say you are further along now, which can only be a good thing.

DD headbutted me in the chin and I cried.

FuzzyOwl · 21/09/2017 21:24

Hope you are home and more comfortable now Nova.

There seems to be a few bugs around at the moment Tri. Hopefully your one is short lived. I hope your DH replaced the buttons!

Ouch pretzel! My DD has bashed into my face a few times and it really really hurts! Hopefully your chin isn't too sore or bruised.

How is everyone doing?

NovaArt3mis · 21/09/2017 21:33

Ouch pretzel, I did similar to my mum as a child and it ended up giving her a gap in her teeth (a la Madonna) and she's never let me forget it!

fuzzy best sleep ever last night.

I hope he's bought some replacements tri!?

Physio was a bit meh. She was lovely and gave me some exercises to do but I'm very sceptical that they'll do anything really. Hopefully I'm wrong though!

FuzzyOwl · 26/09/2017 22:59

Glad you are sleeping well Nova. Have the exercises helped at all?

How is everyone else doing?

pretzelpieces · 27/09/2017 22:04

Ooh it's gone quiet on here. How are things with you now fuzzy?

I'm exhausted and my back is killing me and we still don't have anywhere to move to but otherwise I'm ok 😅 I feel like I love this baby now and I'm looking forward to meeting her, I've been feeling so disconnected so I'm relieved I'm finally feeling something.

OP posts:
NovaArt3mis · 28/09/2017 06:24

Hard to tell re exercises fuzzy, I was walking so much on holiday and in constant pain. Now I'm walking less and in less pain.

Off work unwell today :(

That's great pretzel, I feel the same after months of disconnect. It's a nice feeling. Have you viewed more places to live?

justtheonethen · 28/09/2017 09:54

Hi all. I'm glad to hear about those connecting with baby, I feel bit odd about it, I think because I just feel ill I forget why? So don't feel particularly bonded!

Had 16w midwife appointment yesterday. Nice to hear heartbeat but bit of a waste of time. I have protein in my urine but she's 'not worried' apparently. Why do the dip test then?!

Anyone else feel like they aren't emptying bladder properly? I don't know if I am but I need the loo constantly and when I go it's just a bit and I still feel like I need it. All through the night waking up needing loo too. According to midwife 'that's just pregnancy' which was reassuringly irritating!

Sorry you're poorly nova Sad

FuzzyOwl · 28/09/2017 11:24

That's lovely about connecting with the baby Pretzel.

I still feel as if I haven't bonded at all which I am sure is more of a self protection thing that anything else. I seem to have fairly constant ligament pains and am so tired during the day but then can't sleep at night. I'm also going to the loo loads; it's really annoying.

Sorry you are unwell Nova and I hope a quiet day at home helps.

justtheonethen · 28/09/2017 12:03

fuzzy I feel the same, my overriding feeling is annoyance at the moment. I'm just so tired and fed up of feeling sick.

NovaArt3mis · 28/09/2017 15:07

It wasn't until 21w-ish til I felt a real connection/any optimism. I think the combination of finding out the sex, feeling more kicks and discussing names helped massively for me.

Thanks both, in bed fed up. Might try to go for a walk soon. I think that lying about feeling unwell is making me feel even worse if that makes sense.

just, yes to the bladder thing. So annoying. Sometimes even just standing up and sitting down again makes me go again. And yes to the mw appointments feeling a bit useless at times.

ZylaB · 28/09/2017 17:02

I'm still reading, just plodding along crossing everything. Am 16+2 now and fairly sure I can feel this boy kicking. Though it could just be my head messing wit me! Hospital then community midwife on wed next week and a scan on sat next week and I so hope everything is ok.

justtheonethen · 28/09/2017 17:07

zyla! Hello! Nice to head from you lovely. We are so close, I'm 16+6. Good luck for scan - is that the anomaly scan? Mine doesn't do it until 21-22 weeks! Ages away.

justtheonethen · 28/09/2017 17:08

I don't think I can feel movement but the midwife told me I probably could Hmm

ZylaB · 28/09/2017 19:18

It's a private scan, for reassurance. Anomaly scan is at 20 weeks on 25th October.
