Ellie/pa - not bad at all - totally normal - I managed to do so well up until this week and then....pram fever took hold....it's a terrible affliction.

Maveta - how right you are - Muminamini seems like FOREVER ago....sniff.....I am already planning Mumwithasaggytum for afterwards

SOSPL - not a lazy moo at all - I am only just dressed myself...got to go and have a skin patch test thing done now as am having eyebrows and eyelashes tinted on Monday (so as not having to be too worried about mascara and eyebrow pencil shoudl I give birth any time soon - how vain am I!!) and also nearly did myself a mischeif trying to tidy the ladygarden int he shower......really think that wuill be it now until morning of section! lol

Have a lovely day - enjoy sunshine...must see if I can get Phil to buy me a washing line...been on about one for ages.....

thePA · 31/03/2007 12:13

ooh but have you already got lots?

i have 3 pushchairs, 1 quinny zapp, and 2 doubles

Eddas · 31/03/2007 12:24

I'm still in my pj's, am having a need to sit on my ass and do nothing day

Hopefully dh will be taking dd out when he gets home from work so i'll have a nice bath and then go to bed, tired today, tossing about all night as is everyone else I expect.

muminamassivetummy · 31/03/2007 12:30

no...just a buggy but my best friend Jane could give you a run for your money - she is on her 10th pram (has 3 kids). She gets them, loves them then goes off them and wants a different one, so sells it and gets another....she is ADDICTED!

She has just bought a Ziko Alfie Canary from Mamas and Papas after selling her Loola!
It's her fault I ended up buying this pram! lol

Bugmum · 31/03/2007 12:39

Buggies/prams/slings - all wonderful . I own an Urban Detour Travel System, a Maclaren lightish buggy thing for the bus etc, now my GORGEOUS Urban City Twin Wheels whatsname, with carrycot attachment, a cradle sling, a ring sling, PLUS DP has his own Ergo, still has his cheap sling from DS and has a posh rucksack jobby for long walks with DS. And I bought pushchairs to have at my mum's and at my P-i-Ls. I am seriously considering the single Urban City as well, to use for the baby when DS is on his reigns. Don't think DP will let me get away with that one, though.

Are we rich, you ask?

Are we hell.

Oh, and I'm another one getting nervous about the birth, even though this is my second

Bugmum · 31/03/2007 13:07

Ah - apparently we are NOT getting an Urban Elite single stroller at 250 quid I had no idea it would be so much!!!!!!!!!! But I do still own a lot of buggies etc

CaptainDippy · 31/03/2007 13:13

Hope em was ok with her haircut this morning, emmymummy - K was fine with hers (very good girl in fact); but a complete nightmare the whole of the rest of the time we were in town - running off, refusing to hold my hand, refusing to walk, going into random shops, running into people ..... ARGH!!! Glad to be back now. K is now sleeping off our strenous ordeal, S is running round daddy who is finishing off stuff in our driveway ....

Best go and make lunch .....

LesleyR · 31/03/2007 14:02

Afternoon all. Took ages to get caught up on thread(s).

Lol at baby jewellery and got a bit teary about the deaf lady and her son. DH is intrigued by the widely different reactions I display whilst reading MN.

Congrats Liath on new niece, will soon be you!

I'm nervous about birth having never done this before, especially as people seem to delight in approaching you in the street, on the bus, at work etc with scary stories. Last night I lay awake between 2am and 4.30am thinking about how HUGE it is to be having a child (i.e being a parent)soon. After some more sleep i feel better.

LesleyR · 31/03/2007 14:05

Oh also I'm going to bet on Pinionsrus being an imminent delivery. She had a day of pains this week and has been absent from thread for a while.

I know she's about deleted thread but seems as adiicted as the rest of to posting.

I should make notes while I'm reading. Keep remembering other stuff I wanted to comment on.

nutty re wedding from hell. Don't do it! Sounds like it could be amusing in an awful cringey way, but as you rightly pointed out you could have a week's holiday with DH and LO for the same amount of cash. Make your excuses send them a card if they don't want presents and go off and have real fun somewhere else.

Hello all - was attempting to catch up but feeling bit crappy and last 10 mins have ben reading with not a word of it actually going in so have given up!

Welcome lucewheel

Have been having painful BH on and off since yesterday tea time and also veery heavy feeling in my fanjo, not like heavy baby like period pain heavy feeling if anyone ever gets that. Dont think anythings imminent yet but does seem like things getting ready. Wanted to go out and buy a few bits but dp has gone of to football with my house and car keys so we're stuck here unless I can find spare sets of both which i dont think i have! He has managed to get a remote control mater for ds' present from baby. Is in argos sale for £20 instead of £50, sold out in local argos' but he found one in the town where hes got football so suppose i gotta let him off the keys thing! Apparently its huge though so now gonna have to find something pretty special for dd!

Those twins are so lovely 1b3! I love the way they are sleeping with their heads together like that
Your rash looked awful - has it calmed down now you've given birth?

Welcome Back Pinions

Wow 1becomes3 the twins are soooooo cute and lovely, makes me really eager to see mine. Oh your poor tummy though. Hope it continues to get better. Lots of love and hugs to you.

Pinionsrus · 31/03/2007 16:48

Ah thanks Ange - I knew you were around somewhere! How cute are those twins!!!

AngeG · 31/03/2007 16:50

They are just lovely and scrummy.

How are you?

Have you recovered from all that excitment yesterday? I personally thought it was a great title

Pinionsrus · 31/03/2007 16:56

Pffffft!

I know I haven't had so much excitement in years!

Sorry to anyone it may have caused offence to we just wanted one last "all out offensive" seeing as though its going to a round of sick, poo and totally sleepless nights for the next 6 months and generally not much banter or "risque" chit chat.

But it certainly wasn't meant to "offend" anyone, well not anyone on this thread at least.

(The coast is clear octo).

AngeG · 31/03/2007 16:57

Maybe Octo is off having her baby??

Pinionsrus · 31/03/2007 16:58

No I don't think so.
