I'm off to bed for 12 hours sleep (yeah right)!!

Foxy he might have a little ulcer coming up on his tongue. I'm getting loads of them atm and it sometimes hurts a bit before the actual ulcer comes up.

Goodnight everyone, sleep tight x

derlor · 06/04/2007 07:47

morning chicks - look at the effing time!!! i'm up with dd who is full of energy and wide awake - great!
i had a good sleep just not long enough you know?
Foxy what age is your ds with the sore tounge? could it actually be his throat that is sore or is he old enough to tell the difference?
Holly your cake finding skills scare me!!!!!

DD had her hair cut yeaterday, it was half way down her back and curly and is now bobbed to just below her ears. she looks really cute but i just can't get used to it! think the main thing is that since getting it cut the curl has gone - must have just been her baby hair - she looks really like me now though i like that

DS loks like his dad so we have one each! wonder what no 3 will look like?.....

i'm clearly ramblin now must be due to being up way too early i'll go and make DD breakfast to keep her quiet while i snooze quietly on the couch!!

I got up the same time as you derlor and I don't even have any kids at home! I really wanted to have a lie in, but when you are used to getting up at a certain time your body won't let you sleep!

My dd looked like my dp when she was born, but now she looks like me! Thank god!

derlor · 06/04/2007 08:34

oh Holly poor you i had visions of you sleeping till lunchtime
remember when you were a teenager and could do that all the time

i am having the most bizarre sensations in my 'broken' ear. everything is so loud and certain noises really irritate me - other people coughing is the worst, i swear i can feel my eardrum vibrating when anyone coughs! - i've had burst ear drums before and was always really deaf for a while afterwords so this is just weird.
my poor DS has a cough and i'm getting really ratty with him - i just said "stop coughing your hurting my ear!" wee soul just looked at me and said "sorry mum" and walked off - i better go and apologise....

I know where you're coming from Derlor - I've got really dodgy ears and they're always popping / going deaf. The weirdest thing was a couple of days after having Ella a huge ball of wax fell out of one - it was the size of a pea! Husband gets a bit impatient with my deafness - as it's kind of intermittent I'm sure he thinks sometimes I'm doing it on purpose ;(

Card was the work of but a few minutes...google images and a decade of photoshop makes these things speedy ;)

derlor · 06/04/2007 09:48

flip i was just shut out of the internet for a while there - was just about to make a purchase on funmum and BAM!! no internet - think my DH has implanted a bug to stop me spending money!!!!

Bad Zelda you are soooo clever! (but my birthday is next thursday... ) Thank you for the lovely thought!

foxybrown · 06/04/2007 11:04

I'm in a fucking bad mood.

Seansgirl · 06/04/2007 11:41

Whats up Foxy?

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 06/04/2007 11:53

Hey foxy, why the bad mood?

Seansgirl · 06/04/2007 12:01

How are you Holly? What you up to today is DD back? My DD is at DPs at mo - DH is clearing out garage, shed (and anwhere else I can think of) in preparation for emptying our spare room for the nursey. Tho quite where we are going to put everything I'm not really sure. Its the view over the playing fields that has the computer in - so thinking of having a laptop instead.

Hope Foxys ok - perhaps TP is back? I hope not.

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 06/04/2007 12:11

Hi seansgirl!! I am at my parents' now, dp has gone to get the boys for the weekend. So super fun weekend for me!!

My mum just did the funniest thing, she went and got the washing out of the machine and pulled out the Easter leg of lamb!! She thinks it had fallen in the washing machine (it is a toploader) from the side and she just put washing on top of it and put the machine on! Luckily the seal on the pack hasn't broken, so she is just cooking it and hoping for the best! Doh!!

Sounds like you are having a productive day today seansgirl. My productive day is going to be monday. I'm going to plant out my veggies with tonnes of slugbait so the little bastards don't eat everything!

Seansgirl · 06/04/2007 12:24

Wow Holly, very green fingered of you, i am very impressed. Thankfully, my Mum has just planted loads of stuff in her garden so I am hoping some will come my way!

LOL at the leg of lamb in the washing machine. My mum would do the same and cook it hoping for the best. Was it a hot wash and for very long? Sorry, thats me reverting back to my food technologist training!

mytwocents · 06/04/2007 13:03

Helloooo! Just quick post to say hi, have skim read and now no time to post!!!! Off to look at kitchens....yawn...dp v excited..hmmm.
Happy birthday foxy!! fellow aries lady, I had a lovely birthday, saw funny show had lovely dinner, caught up with my crazy family, and dont have a hangover!!!!
Hope all are well, saw some lists further down, it's maybe time i got organised, no?
Peace xxx

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 06/04/2007 13:04

She washed it at 40 degrees for an hour, but it has gone straight in the oven to cook. Do you think it will be ok? Neither dd or I will be eating it (both veggies) so it will only be non-pg adults scoffing the dead sheep!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 06/04/2007 13:05

Glad you had a good birthday mytwocents!

Foxy are you ok?

foxybrown · 06/04/2007 13:16

Better for hearing your mums story Holly! LOL

Just tired, grumpy, hormonal, feeling sick, and I think I'm getting braxton hicks. DP not back yet. He's on his way (late of course) but that's OK.

On the plus side, have found all the bits to Billy's (DS2) Spiderman car, done puzzles with Em and roasting a chicken for our picnic tomorrow. So feeling like a good mum.

I just really, really need to lie down for a while. And maybe have a little weep.

But actually there's nothing wrong. I'm just in a fucking bad mood. You know how it is.

foxybrown · 06/04/2007 13:17

Thanks for the birthday wishes MyTwoCents. Its actually on Friday. Not Thursday as I said earlier. Even I got it wrong!

bumperlicious · 06/04/2007 13:19

Glad you had a good birthday mytwocents. Too many of us ariens on this thread I think !

Why the bad mood foxy?

I've been thinking, I was dreaming about you lot last night - nothing weird, can't even remember what happened, but spend so much time on here that I can't switch off. Anyway, I had a point. I know some of you have photos in your profiles, but just so I can envision you a bit more tell me what famous person you resemble closest, not spitting image like, but just a rough likeness. So here's mine Jennifer Aniston when her hair is short and straight, but with brown eyes and weighing about 20lbs more (that's pre pg!). Ok, so it's not a close likeness but when I asked DH that's who he came up with. What about you girls?

foxybrown · 06/04/2007 13:26

I'm a dead ringer for Yasmine Le Bon, although some say I'm more like Angelina Jolie.

Oh, in my dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
