Foxy, just tried emailing you and got a bounce back...

derlor · 01/04/2007 21:14

oh Holly, how cute is your lo? cherry tomatos and pickled onions we things like that make it so lovely to be a mum.
maybe you could reward yourself every time she is successful too, say a wee chocolate egg????

derlor · 01/04/2007 21:15

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 01/04/2007 21:17

Good idea derlor! Maybe I could give myself an extra 5 mins nap for every wee and 10 mins for every poo! She is a funny girl, she loves her food, just like her mum and dad!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 01/04/2007 21:18

ARRGGGHHH, bumper yours is failing as well!! Maybe it is taking a while to register the addresses atm.

bumperlicious · 01/04/2007 21:22

Sorry H&A, only set it up bout half an hour ago so maybe it does take time.

foxybrown · 01/04/2007 21:22

ok, now I think I'm getting somewhere...

try [email protected]

doggus · 01/04/2007 21:23

Hi all. Count me in on the shower, bumper, coz I don't think I will get a real one. My two best friends went to Australia two years ago (was it something I said?) so I am Norma No Mates too.

Marylou - no worries on your discretion re job, I stupidly forget we are on a public forum and lay my life out bare!

I have been at a lunch all day, yes, another one of those pub lunches that starts at 12 and ends at 6pm and where dh is driven around the Dorzet countryside like Little Lord Fauntleroy. At 6.20pm he did an ostentatious yawn and went to bed (nothing to do with the wine then) and is STILL there!

Derlor - I read you potty trained dd when she was 2 months! My friend has been telling me how her mum didn't bother with nappies and held her over the loo from 2 months on. Apparently this worked .

Mummyjx - laughed at your religious imagery issues. I was a bit like that at that age, but then we are RC and there were lots of Bleeding Hearts around!

Lastly I have an idea that someone on here was going to be on the telly (was it derlor or seansgirl)? Did I dream it? One of you is Vanessa Feltz aren't you?

bumperlicious · 01/04/2007 21:23

Ohh, just noticed mine is (at) hotmail.co.uk - try that maybe that makes a difference.

derlor · 01/04/2007 21:29

no doggus not 2 months - 2 years and 2 months!!!!!! so 26 months - she's not that clever!
my email address is [email protected]

OP posts:
bumperlicious · 01/04/2007 21:33

No sure if I can cope with real names and nicknames! Too confusing!

doggus · 01/04/2007 21:33

Doh - my post crossed with yours, Holly, it is seansgirl on the TV! I am dying to know too.

I am on [email protected] and I have just done a test one to you bumper.

And double doh derlor, I was thinking you could sell your story of your genius daughter to Take a Break and make £200!

bumperlicious · 01/04/2007 21:41

Getting everyone's emails now! Ohh this is exciting! More reasons not to do housework! Though my ancient (inherited) dyson has packed up so thinking of buying a Henry, and am a little bit more excited by it than I should be! Bit gutted at having to fork out all that cash on a Hoover! Must be the nesting instinct that's making me do it.

derlor · 01/04/2007 21:42

i'm way too confused with all the hotmail thing!! mine is just set up so think it may not work for 24 hours or so??? i'm off to watch 24 then Lost check back tomorrow night after work - maybe some clever clogs will have sorted us all out on hotmail by then!! later chicks x

OP posts:
foxybrown · 01/04/2007 21:44

I got your email, derlor, and sent you one, so seems ok this end! see you tomorrow

foxybrown · 01/04/2007 21:46

OK, I'm signing off now, my tummy hurts and now my head does to! Time for hot chocolate and bed me thinks. Night all

doggus · 01/04/2007 21:47

Bumper - I love my Henry even on carpet (people say it only works on hard floors but that's crap). The best thing is it has a really long lead so you can do a few rooms without having to change plugs. And they last forever, unlike when I experimented by buying a Dyson which ballsed up after two years.

Seansgirl · 01/04/2007 21:48

Tee Hee, I feel like a big kid, sneeking back upstairs on to MN to set up my email. Here you go: [email protected]

bumperlicious · 01/04/2007 21:49

Thanks for the info Doggus.

Yep, time for me to sign off too. Gosh, now I'm going to have to think of something to say to DH Night all x

doggus · 01/04/2007 21:52

I'm away too - nytol. Got to go and wake the drunken dh up

Seansgirl · 01/04/2007 22:00

Night Night too xxx

Let me know if got msg tomorrow sent to:
Holly, Foxy, Doggus, Derlor and Bumper

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 01/04/2007 22:04

I'm going to eat my ice cream and go to bed too! Just watched the end of the Louis Theroux show, he's really sexy! Maybe I shall be dreaming of him tonight...hopefully!!

Sleep well xx

MarsLady · 01/04/2007 23:22

Okay June ladies. If you want me to organise the Secret Shower then I'm happy to. It didn't take much doing for the May bunch and honestly I spent about 30mins on it in total. But the good thing about me doing it was that everyone was able to get a secret gift.

Anyhoo... up to you. You can email me on lovelymarslady at aol dot com.

Bumperlicious... this will keep it a surprise for you as well. Besides... I have a wee bit of time on my hands! (Actually I have an essay to write so don't mention this new procrastination technique to the student parents on the forum lol)

MarsLady · 01/04/2007 23:23

I see you're already there bumperlicous. Well offer still stands if you want it.
