Octo - get the castor oil out if you're really desperate.

babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 20:58

Ellie - email attachment won't open.

AngeG · 23/03/2007 20:59

Yay! Just opened email, fantastic!

glitterkitty · 23/03/2007 21:02

Opinions! Also:

F: Could drink alcohol.

G: Could look at people without them staring back in horror when they notice the bump, like you have taken the baby into a crack den

H: Could join in with drunken chat rather than sitting with fixed grin on face talking politely about cleaning sinks or similar like stepford wife.

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 21:10

Great email- really cheered me up!

LOL the crack den!

Had my first 'ooh you're still holding onto it' today at school - ffs!

babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 21:11

Ellie whatever it is it looks a bit minging egg and vodka I'd give it a miss if I were you........

oooggs · 23/03/2007 21:12

I'm home - shattered. Why is everything such an effort??????

You lot are great at moral etc.... hope this may continue and we will soon be discussing weaning and school uniforms

After 8 hospital admissions, next time I am not leaving without my BABIES.......

DS thinks the best way to make mummy 'better' is to feed her chocolate balls {maltesers} not complaining at that one. If only it worked. Thankfully at 3 he hasn't worked out that mummy is only poorly because of the twins - how much resentment could that cause?

Still no babies - I am now getting impatient for any baby activity, not just my own.

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 21:12

You have to do it - then take another pic to show us!

babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 21:12

Glitter - just watching other people drink - what a nightmare its like a real test.

EllieK · 23/03/2007 21:14

pmsl opinions it's on that other thread .........

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 21:16

Well????

Hello ooggs - good to see you back

babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 21:16

Had a look but decided a bit too long it's take me at least an hour to read all of that my gawd. That girl got a right slating didn't she, I'd say poor cow but then she kind of asked for it. Bit judgemental.

EllieK · 23/03/2007 21:21

"You only have to get a glass, crack an egg in it and drop one shot of vodka in it to see what alcohol does to an egg cell (it cooks it) to know that mixing alcohol with a growing foetus is harmful - especially in the first trimester when cells are forming. It's not AS harmful once the baby is fully formed, but not a brilliant idea. If you can avoid then it is best to."

from the other thread

have done it, i guess it does kinda change it, the yoke still breaks but is a bit more solidified

OP posts:
babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 21:24

Ummm. I only drank once I think in first trimester when about 10 days does that count??

Seems a bit weird thinking of this great humpin lump as a few egg cells now.

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 21:27

You have to read 'a funny thing happened' in the childbirth section - can;t do links sorry!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 21:29

Me and dh went to London for our anniversary around the time I conceived and we drank buckets and buckets of wine - then felt so sick for the next 3 months had nothing - too late now to worry! Maybe wine doesn;t count - just vodka! I will try it with some wine tomorrow when dh out - if I do now he will think have gone bonkers!

babysopiniontakesover · 23/03/2007 21:30

Octo don't touch the childbirth section, or the pregnancy section with a bargepole. Esp childbirth. Mines just going to pop its head out within 10 minuntes ha ha.

EllieK · 23/03/2007 21:30

i wouldn't worry opinions, general opinion on the thread was that you'd have to drnk a bottle of the stuff for it to work through to the 'cells' of the foetus

OP posts:
EllieK · 23/03/2007 21:32

a funny thing happened
