Oooh a new thread. Thanks Ellie.Glad the agency sorted out your money.

Runny - Hope your sisters op went ok. Have been thinking of you all today.

Maveta - Glad the scan went well. Enjoy your time with your sister.

1B3 - Hope your appointment at the hospital went better today. I was so on your behalf at the way they treated you yesterday. Sending strong labour vibes and lots of hugs you way. xxxx

CD - Hope you managed to calm DD down and go swimming. Good on you contemplating it not sure I could cope with swimming at the moment.

Hi Waspelly good to hear from you. Glad you managed to clear the paint spill up!

Thinking of you Mammyjo

OOggs - Hope you got home today and that the medication is improving your chest. I really salute you and 1b3 for keeping the babies in as long as you have.

Hello everyone else. Hope you're all ok. Sorry if I've missed people out I have been thinking of you all. xx

mammyjo · 23/03/2007 19:06

Hello! Ellie, glad you got the money situation sorted out. Nice of them to send you some flowers too, most employers wouldnt do that!

Runny, how is your sister doing? Hope everything went well.

1b3, any news. Hope you have been treated better today.

Still having strong braxton hicks but nothing more than that. MIL told dh that I will have the baby next Wednesday because that is a week since my pains started (it isnt, they have been happening for nearly three weeks now). She also says its a boy because of the way I am carrying. Just because of that I hope its a girl!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 23/03/2007 19:08

Ellie, thanks for the new thread - what would we do without you?? So pleased they sorted out your money.

Hi Ange, good to see you.

Maveta, glad the scan went well. Sounds like he is growing nicely in there!

Runny, hope your sister is doing ok.

The plumbers have finlly fitted our water softener - they were here all day, so our water was off until 4.30! Couldn't even flush the loos - not great when pregnancy bladder needed to be emptied so regularly!!

Not much to report here. Feel very tired, and have had tinges of blood in my secretions - not every time though. Sorry TMI I know at tea time ! Not getting excited/concerned - I just take the atitude what will be will be.

Hope everyone else is ok. Back on later. xx

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:15

don't be too impressed mammyjo, most employers wouldn't have been making £4.50 for every hour i work, and messed my wages up on a fairly regular basis, for the last 10 months

Before Monday
Glad you got your money situation sorted out

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:25

Ooh EllieK you cuold be first then

My mum was on the phone today and asked if I had been having 'pain like bricks'???? - was tempted not to tell her they were called braxton hicks - she did confess she had no idea about birth whatsoever and was simply told that if she breathed the pain would go away!

I have acquired a 3 wheeler mountain buggy off freecycle for when I start running - was going to get grandparents to contribute but they can pay for the rather expensive maxi cosi cabrio fix car seat I bought the other week instead!

Have been feeling really tired today and niggly pains too - have decided red wine will solve the problem - dh and I agreed no wine from last sunday onwards but if this baby comes tonight I will pay for a taxi! Very unlikely but dh keeps saying - you never know! Please let this baby come tonight, please, please, please ....!!!

DH cooking steak & chips - yummy!

Katy44 · 23/03/2007 19:26

octo - have already beaten you to it - am sat here with a glass of wine now

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:27

i'd better not be first, i'd be lynched

tho matthew is with his dad all weekend so it would be timely

OP posts:
EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:28

octo i had to get a maxi cosi seat to fix with my quinny, bloody rip off or what thankfully found one cheaper on kiddicare

OP posts:
octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:30

Paid £175 at local nursery shop but did get free car seat cosytoes DH has no idea!

Katy44 · 23/03/2007 19:31

Ellie I think we are all at the stage where we just want a baby!! Taking polite turns can take a back seat!
What are the chances that all of the 'April' babies will be born in April and May??

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:33

I don;t care who delivers first just as long as its me

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:34

Having some cracking 'pain like bricks' btw!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:36

and he has definitely dropped as can breathe.

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:37

how much octo

that's £75 over the RRP

OP posts:
Katy44 · 23/03/2007 19:38

I haven't had my foot / bum entertainment again

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:40

don't be too sad Katy, you'll be hating it by 40 weeks

OP posts:
octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:40

With the isofix base aswell!

Oh no Katy - be warned - if you try to put your foot in your bum, it may get stuck

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 23/03/2007 19:41

or maybe it is some ancient egyptian induction method...

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:44

aah, that's ok then

that's actually very cheap then the base has an RRP of £99 as does the seat

got myself a slightly older version, don't have isofix and at only £50, when matthew was too big for his first car seat by 3 months, i kinda had to go with it

OP posts:
Katy44 · 23/03/2007 19:47

my foot, DH's bum
don't ask

EllieK · 23/03/2007 19:51
