Poor 1B3 - I wish they'd just get the babies out now, how much more can she take?

nuttygirl · 24/03/2007 14:22

Aww poor 1b3, really wish they'd just come out for her.

Tili - hope baby has turned. Mine was breach at one point but I never felt it turn to head down (think it must have turned when I was sleeping). Fingers crossed for you.

SOSPL - sorry to hear you're having a hard time with B, wish I had some advice for you!!!

EllieK/Glitterkitty - loved the email!!! Made DH laugh too.

Well I got my RL tablets even though I didn't find Holland & Barrett (went to a town we hadn't been to before cos it would be cheaper to park than going into Leeds). Got them from a little herbalist. The guy was v helpful. I've got the 425mg ones and he said to take them from 2 weeks before my due date and take 2 a day. He said to continue taking them after the birth as they help everything go back as it should. (Paid £4.99 for 80 tablets). Took one already cos only 12 days to EDD!

Also found a huge baby shop so got a moses basket stand (it's actually a pressie from sis) for £10.99 and a musical mobile for the cot. Also got some frilly knickers for under christening gown.

mammyjo · 24/03/2007 14:23

Poor 1b3, surely she cant be expected to put up with things much longer. SOSPL, if you text her back please do send our love, I am fed up and I know it cant come anywhere near to what she is feeling. Hopefully they will just decide to do a section and be done with it.

SOSPL, sorry to hear about B. My ds has been a bit trying the last few days but then told me that two boys in school push him over all the time. My heart sank when he said it. Told him that if they do it again he is to push them right back. The boys in question are actually quite small and scrawny in comparison to ds who is built like a rugby player! Would never tell him to hurt anyone but feel that retaliation in this situation may be useful - what does anyone else think? Anyway, he didnt get pushed at all yesterday and seemed much happier when he came home. Also told him to just play with other boys instead. Its awful that you have to think about a 3 year old getting bullied (not in the sense of older ones but still horrible).

Have a good day all and enjoy the weather if you have sunshine xxx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NUTTYGIRL!

mammyjo · 24/03/2007 14:25

Forgot, Happy Birthday Nutty! Hope you have a fab day. I was told that about the raspberry leaf too. Lady in shop said they are very useful post birth for a quick shrinking of uterus to normal size! Didnt know that last time so will give it a try.

mammyjo · 24/03/2007 17:22

Where is everyone today? I guess you all have a life! I am getting too scared to go very far now. I need to get to hospital as soon as labour starts for antibiotics so am gradually turning into a hermit I think!
Just wondered if anyone has heard about clary sage helping to bring on labour. A friend of mine has said that a few drops of the essential oil in a warm bath can help to start things off. Any ideas? If true then I will definitely get some and try it!

EllieK · 24/03/2007 17:46

i have no life, i'm here

I'm here now. Back from a party of a friend of Becky's. She spent half of the time crying and not joining in. I don't know what on earth is up with her at the moment. We have another party tomorrow afternoon and I am wondering if I'll bother taking her. It is just so stressful.

Feel absolutely knackered and my back is killing me.

Sorry for the moan, but things are pants!

Hope everyone is ok. I have not heard anything more from 1b3.

Mammyjo, hope you are ok. Haven't heard about the stuff you mentioned - have you tried googling it??

EllieK · 24/03/2007 18:12

matthew is being odd too, he cried when he got to nursery yesterday because he found a toy he'd left there

and then when i dropped his trainers off at daddy's house today he cried and said he needed to come with me.

have decided not to leave him there til tomorrow night or monday, he's coming home in the morning so we can spend the day together.

Happy Birthday Nutty

Nothing exciting happening here .. looking forward to boys going to bed!!!

AngeG · 24/03/2007 18:29

Hi there I'm here too.

SOSPL - Sorry you're having a bad time of things. Hope Becky improves soon. Jake is very much the same at the moment I can't decide if it's because of the changes happening or if he's going to get poorly.

Thanks for keeping us informed about 1B3. Please give her our love if you are in contact again. I really hope they decide to do something now, like get the babies out.

Hi Ellie.

Mammyjo - I have heard of clarysage, think some of the March girls were using it. Not sure if it worked I have a feeling it increased BH, but not necessarily anything else. You could search on here.

Happy Birthday Nuttygirl. Hope you've had a great day.

Runny - Hope you sorted things out with DH, good to hear your sisters op went ok.

Tili - Hope baby has turned for you.

Emmymummy - Hope you enjoyed your child free day and defuzzing activities

WCL - Thinking of you hun.

CD - Hope you've had a better day today. I find it hard enough with Jake never mind two.

Hello everyone else sorry I can't remember anymore.

38wks tomorrow, only 1 week 3 days til c-section. Unless I go into labour. No major signs at the moment, but a definite increase in the strength and frequency of BHs especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. I didn't get to sleep til 3am this morning and Jake was awake at 5:30am luckily DH sorted him out. Don't think I could have coped otherwise.

Can't remember if I said, but my brother who was starting a new job and wasn't going to be around for the baby has been told they his start date has been put back til 9th April, so he will now be here I'm so pleased we're a really close family and was really gutted that he wasn't going to be around.

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 19:03

Popping in quickly - DD's in the bath. Has been a v.tiring day - DH and a friend have been widening the driveway (which looks superb! ) so I've taken the girls to soft play etc etc - Needing a good sit down tonight!!

Phew!

[[[hugs]] to you SOSPL.

Poor poor 1B3 - she'd better not leave hospital til they extract those two. Poor love.

Hope everyone else has had a fab day.

So knackered. I can bearly breath!!

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 19:03

Think DH has forgotten about footie!!

mammyjo · 24/03/2007 19:05

Thats good news Ange. Nice to know he will be able to meet the baby before going away. Will have a look for clary sage on here and google it too I think. If it only increases BH though I dont think I will bother as I am getting enough of those anyway. Glad I am not the only one with no life!

AngeG · 24/03/2007 19:05

Mine hasn't and he's been watching cricket most of the day too.

I'm watching Dancing on Ice Champion of Champions.

Sounds like a hectic day CD. Rest up this evening.

EllieK · 24/03/2007 19:27

i'm bored.

geordiemacminx · 24/03/2007 19:32

me too... in the middle of "cooking" which actually entails heating up ribs and wedges and mushrooms and potato skins from m&s while dp watches the footie...

On the plus side I got my rasberry tea tablets today - could only get 900mg ones though.. so watch this space!!!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 19:32
