Glad dd had a good party @Spindelina no mean feat at the best of times, let alone heavily pregnant.

Also, walked three miles today in flip flops and those of you cycling are utter legends!!! I'm in agony.

Getting a hot hot hot takeaway, going to sit on my call and binge watch so tv. I'm pooped.

Lallypopstick · 01/07/2017 21:05

Currently getting my very swollen feet and legs rubbed with cooling gel. Spent a lot of time on my feet today which wasn't fun!

LuciBee231015 · 02/07/2017 06:59

How is everyone? Still nothing from me. Looks like DH will be going to work on Monday, he's gutted! Friday looked like he was getting his 2 weeks off! He still asleep and I'm awake so I'm going to stick some clothes on and go for a walk... there's a big hill by our house I might tackle that!

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 07:04

@LuciBee231015 haha I had the same from dh. He works every over weekend and has a Pig of a job today. He asked if I could have the baby so he didn't have to go in. Hmm

I was kept up last night by some stupid teenage party and the toddler being woken up by it.

Am feeling rather zombified today.

Also all the "signs" that are associated with impending labour I've decided are all lies. Mean mean lies to troll us all.

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 07:05

Make sure you take your phone with you @LuciBee231015

crisscrosscranky · 02/07/2017 07:32

Good Luck Luci.

I lost my plug, or at least part of it, about 7pm last night. Nothing since other than a restless night's sleep waiting for contractions to start! contractions with DD1 started about 12 hours after losing plug so I'm going to have a nice bath then go for a walk this morning and see if that gets things moving.

DH works away during the week and it'll take him a few hours to get home so hoping it will be today OR wait until next weekend!

mynameisntLinda · 02/07/2017 07:49

Not posted for a bit but have been reading. So many teasing babies and tricky mums to deal with by thr sounds of it.
I had my baby shower yesterday organised by mil. Posted a thank you on fb and my mum commented that she didnt know and woulf have flown over.oops. i just said i wasnt sure id stoll be pregnant after all the growth scan and induction talk so save her flight until baby is here.
I also went to the trafford centre yesterday, big mistake, i can hardly bloody walk today, my groin muscles are dead! It hurts to roll over in bed and walking is very slow lol
Ds is attending his first party today. Its a girl hes at the childminders with and im dreading it. Its just at the girls house and shes a year older than ds but theyve hired a bouncy castle which ds will be petrified of, hes not great when theres lots of people about and im so achey i just want to curl up and not move lol. Ah well. If he hates it we can just leave and its only 10 min drive from our house. Still need to wrap her present and writr card though.

All this worry about when babies will come is why i hate "due dates" kept getting asked last night at the shower when i was due and think i defo pissed off at least 2 people because i just kept saying "july" or "when shes ready". Hate been touched as well but dhs gran was so handsy. I really friggin hate it and shed just start corresing my belly even if i was mid convo with someone. Arrrghhh

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 07:59

Walking round the Trafford Centre would knacker me at the best of times! I'm hating the whole not being able to turn in bed crap too.

Stupid thing is I knew not to get fixated on my due date but my midwife insisted that I'd have the baby beforehand. I blame her Grin

I've been lucky nobody has tried to touch my tummy this time. I swore after last time I'd grab people back. Its soooo wildly inappropriate. Even my sister asks first. Strangers just touch ShockShockShockShock

Need2morehands · 02/07/2017 08:21

Morning I'm not good at keeping up with posting been so busy trying to get old house empty for this week it exchange dat was ment to Friday just gone I'm do glad it's changed! I'm cabbaged! Took ds to see despicable me3 yesterday so he's happy and I'm just waiting like all you ladies for this baby to apear I'm going in on Wednesday to be induced which I'm dreading I did have a sweep done last week but other then twinges and grim wipes at toilet trips there's been nothing. Wishing everyone a baby Sunday Flowers

MrsMingo · 02/07/2017 08:26

Hello to all. I've been reading the due in July threads since the very beginning. It's been amazing following all of your journeys, I feel like I know most of you. I have only just plucked up the courage to post something now.

My due date is July 14th and this is my first. I've had a 'touch wood'

MrsMingo · 02/07/2017 08:28

Oh pants posted that before I meant to...

...very easy pregnancy so far but I am apprehensive about the birth.

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 08:44

Hi @MrsMingo Smile

nat2311 · 02/07/2017 08:56

Welcome @MrsMingo

We had niece (6) and nephew (3) for a sleepover last night and nephew got up at 5.30 😭 I need a nap already.

OP posts:
Spindelina · 02/07/2017 09:07

Last night was the first time I've felt physically uncomfortable in bed. My sleep's been crap, but it's been my bladder and brain keeping me awake. Last day at work on Friday and I'm ready to start taking it slow.

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 10:53

Oooh we've got a new layer past stroppy mums.

Annoyed friends! Yay.

I've just had a text from dh and my friend saying she hopes I have the baby asap as she's away for the next three weeks and she needs her baby cuddle fix. Politely stated that we probably won't be accepting visitors for the first few weeks (overdid it with dd and it took about three months before I recovered!)

Have just received a message back, very "off" saying she thought she would be considered "family". Stated back I don't want my mil and my df's partners round either and have been told I'm "being selfish".

Two words that come to mind are "fuck" and "off" Hmm

Twixes · 02/07/2017 12:08

I take it your friend has no children @glitterglitters ? It's often the people who've no idea that are the most annoying in these situations! V selfish of her to put you under pressure like that.

I'm in the hospital getting my bp monitored, so far the readings have been ok. Hopefully I can get home to DH and DS soon enough! Thankfully it's lovely and quiet in here today, it was mental on Friday.

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 12:15

Lol no. Her ex had two kids who they had eow and she tries to look after everybody's kids. She is great with them but this is in no way reflective of being a parent. I'm having a good old rant to my niece about it Grin

Boo about your bp. Are you ok? Hopefully you'll be home asap

Side note every time I see your username I need a Twix lol 🇨🇦

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 12:16

lol ignore the Canadian flag. Grin

Littlejayx · 02/07/2017 12:20

Hi all,

The period like pains have just started last night and I had the worst nights sleep due to the pains, going to have a hot bath and hope things progress! Smile

Gooseygoosey12345 · 02/07/2017 12:23

Ooh I've only just found the July thread! My due date is the 17th with dc2. A little boy this time which is lovely. I feel absolutely exhausted and I'm so ready for him to be out now! How is everyone feeling?

Mawita · 02/07/2017 12:34

Hi all, I am regularly waking up at 5:00 am everyday now. Rubbish!!

I too had my baby shower yesterday started at 2;00 and only made it home at 12 pm!

It was an amazing day with loads of our friends from all over coming at different times. Got loads of cute baby presents that have made me extra broody (didn't think it was possible) however super tired today but looking at the sun and wanting to be out and about. Also as I don't have to go anywhere the rest of the week I am tempted.

Happy sunny sunday everyone

Xxx

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 12:34

Oooh @Littlejayx sounds promising!!!!

@Gooseygoosey12345 Smile hiya

LuciBee231015 · 02/07/2017 12:39

Had a few pains after my walk this morning now nothing again. I'm getting really f*cking agitated now... it's giving me the hump I could cry. 9 days over 😔

glitterglitters · 02/07/2017 12:40

@LuciBee231015 FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers

If it's any consolation I went 9 days over with dd1. Was told it could be a few days. Waters went at 6pm and he was born at 11:57pm. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Algebraic · 02/07/2017 15:13

The SPD has returned to kick me in the vag while I'm down. I can only take these stupid, shuffle-y steps and turning over in bed is agony. I had BH and intense cramps last night, was really thinking something could happen but after a bath and a rest it went away. I think I overdid it yesterday as we have family visiting. Losing little bits of plug here and there but nothing substantial.
