Does anyone know if I need a full bladder for the 20 week scan?

I don't think you do cheesecake pretty sure it said you don't on the letter I got.

Everywhere seems to say different! Mine deffo says full bladder.. I don't see why it would be necessary but I'm just gonna do it (just not quite as much as for 12 week scan), easier to empty than to fill!

As my bladder was too empty for the 12 weeks scan and I struggled to fill it due to nausea, the sonographer said to me I don't have to worry with a full bladder for the next scan.

I got an FAQ type of thing with my appointment letter..

What preparation is required?
You do not need a full bladder for this scan

At all my previous scans I got made to empty mine anyway!

Lovely bump scots! I've got a proper bump, people keep commenting on the size of it. Think I'm just going to balloon.

Thanks guys. The smoothness is realy down to the leggings being pulled all the way to the top of my bump. In the 6 week one my leggings were right in the middle of my podgy tummy. Spewing has helped reduce the podge 😊😃🤰🏼

Was awake from 2.40 to 6.40 😣 proper zombie this morning 😵

I slept slightly better last night. I did spend most of the day outside so that could be why.
My back hasn't improved so I'm trying to book a pregnancy massage in a beautiful spa near us. Fingers crossed.

Boo. They won't take bookings from people who aren't on spa days or overnight stays! I love Stobo but can't justify adding a spa day to it when I can't use half the stuff.

scotslamb is there no where else that does them? It's a bit of a shame otherwise

Scan all good. No problems with baby . SHE wouldn't sit still and made the sonographer's life difficult

But Stobo is so lovely!! I have now booked in with a lovely local woman who is fab but she does my body "maintanance" so it's not as much of a treat as popping to the spa for a treatment.
Also booked in a lady garden wax. Hope the wax is before the massage.

Awake enough to say hello to any other non sleepers tonight. Think it's the storm that's been going on for the last few hours... It's brilliant but a bit noisy!

Hey Brens. Hoping you're back asleep now but I also woke up a little while ago and have one billion things going through my mind so decided to try and distract myself on here for a little while.

Scots, a massage sounds like a wonderful idea. I might have to copy that idea!
