Welcome Tania! Smile

TaniaCC22 · 08/07/2017 20:56

Thanks Mrsbluebell! Glad you had a lovely scan, was that your 20 week one or did you get an earlier one?

CheesecakeAddict · 08/07/2017 20:58

Welcome tania

Movement! I felt movement! Grin

glastogal · 08/07/2017 21:09

Ooh!! Exciting cheesecake!! Did you get flutters, pops, prods or something else??

Welcome to the madhouse Tania - congrats on your Christmas baby Grin

TaniaCC22 · 08/07/2017 21:24

Thanks glastogirl 😊what stage are you at?

glastogal · 08/07/2017 21:31

I'm 19+3 now and awaiting my anomaly scan.. it's not till 21+1 so I'm trying (and failing) to be patient Wink

Angielka · 08/07/2017 21:44

Welcome Tania!

Congrats on the scans and all these girls! Funny how we have had a run of boys followed by a run of girls...

I have also been a bit in the worry bench for the same reasons others have mentioned, here and on fb. not really feeling movement, feeling like the bump isn't changing, general bleurgh... but things are a bit better this weekend- fell asleep in our garden hammock this afternoon so still clearly exhausted. Which must be a good sign 🤣

Had dinner out with DH yesterday as SIL was babysitting and then panicked because my dessert selection had choc mousse and I guess there were raw eggs in there. It was bloody delicious but 😳 always something to worry about!!

TaniaCC22 · 08/07/2017 21:45

Glastogirl, the waiting is so hard! I'm having scans every 2 weeks to check my cervix but I haven't got a date yet for my 20 scan which I'm desperate for just to know things are okay. I'm trying and failing to distract myself!

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 08/07/2017 21:58

Yay @Mrsbluebell17 and @CheesecakeAddict !!!! 😄

CheesecakeAddict · 08/07/2017 21:59

glastogirl a prod Grin there was no mistaking it Grin

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 08/07/2017 22:31

Whoop whoop! You just wait till you start feeling them everyday 😄❤️

MontyPants · 09/07/2017 01:50

Haven't been on here for a few days as I'd migrated over to the FB group. So exciting to see people are getting regular movements. It's all becoming very real.

I've just ended up reading the brain farts MN thread from a few days ago (which I think is on classics now) and I have been crying and shaking with laughter. DH got annoyed as I woke him up by giggling. But obviously after all that excitement, I can't sleep.

Mrsbluebell17 · 09/07/2017 02:50

Monty I'll have to have a look through that thread for some light reading sometime Smile how are you?

Carley27 · 09/07/2017 09:05

Bluebell I was convinced it was a boy but clearly my instincts are rubbish 😬 also lots of boys in my family, this will be the first girl in a while I think so they will be excited! And massive congrats to you for also joining team pink 🎀😀 has the shopping started? We are going to buy a few things today, so excited!

Good luck for your scan Rebs!

Hi Tania 👋 Christmas Day due date, how exciting!

Woohoo cheesecake, must be lovely feeling movement! So jealous I can't feel anything yet, apparently my placenta is sitting at the front so could be a while yet.

For those still suffering from sickness/nausea, I woke up at 4am having not really slept well and I was feeling very sick. I googled "does tiredness make morning sickness worse". These 5 things in this article are interesting.

www.pregnancymagazine.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-health/5-ways-youre-making-morning-sickness-worse

I struggle with not doing everything!!

Snoozlecorn · 09/07/2017 11:23

Hi everyone! I'm15+1 due Dec 30th with my first Grin

Anomaly scan is booked for Aug 4th, can't wait to see baby again it still doesn't really feel real to me yet. Excitedly awaiting my bump and first movements too!

Anyone from the Shropshire area?

MontyPants · 09/07/2017 12:37

Hi Bluebell all good here thanks, apart from extreme boredom due to enforced time off work due to fainting and dizziness... but I'm growing a vampire baby so it's to be expected 😆 I see you're still struggling to sleep 👎🏻 Have you spoken to GP or midwife? Hope baby bluebell isn't being too much trouble! That thread is definitely not "light reading" you'll be crying with laughter!

And welcome @Snoozlecorn! I'm due 2nd December so we're really at the far ends of the scale

rebs1993 · 09/07/2017 14:07

Hi All!!
Gender scan went well today and we are now on Team Blue 💙 ☺️

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 09/07/2017 17:19

Welcome to team blue @rebs1993 ! 😄

Peachi82 · 09/07/2017 17:36

I get really nosy what we're having. Christmas will tell :-D

Warm today. Cold still persistent. Don't want to go to work tomorrow.
But I feel like a bit of my energy is coming back, I did some washing this weekend and a little bit of housework.
Not looking forward to our move in one month's time... All this packing... Maybe I treat myself to a removal company that also packs for me...

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 09/07/2017 18:21

@Peachi82 Definitely worthwhile (we've done that a few times) but peanuts and monkeys definitely comes to mind. Stay away from Simply Removals!

CheesecakeAddict · 09/07/2017 18:51

That's so exciting send. I'm so pleased that your scan went well.

I was supposed to work this weekend but I have been beyond exhausted. All I've done is watch Netflix and nap. Just texted my line manager to say tomorrow the kids will be watching films so I can bring in my laptop and meet my deadlines Blush. Should feel more guilty about that but I really did need that rest - and I'm sure the baby needed it too!

CheesecakeAddict · 09/07/2017 18:52

And by send I mean rebs
Autocorrect!

Mrsbluebell17 · 09/07/2017 21:54

Hey Monty! Not spoken to anyone about the sleeping as I've always been a terrible sleeper (granted not this bad) so I've taken it in my stride. Although I have an early start tomorrow and the heat tonight has made our house feel like an oven - so I don't think it'll be a fun nights sleep!
Hope your time off work passes quickly. How long are you off for? Do you need to wait and see when it all passes first?

Welcome snooz!

Rebs* yay for team blue for you, great news!

MontyPants · 09/07/2017 22:14

Bluebell I got signed off until the 19th but waiting to speak to doctor tomorrow about blood test results. But the 19th is the date of our anomaly scan, so it's something to look forward to even if I'm not feeling any better.
I have insomnia, for which I'm on various medication, and have tried all manner of treatments. Thankfully, pregnancy seems to have banished it (apart from the odd occasion). Go to docs. They might me able to prescribe something, surely? Hope you at least get a little bit of sleep tonight
