I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

@WhyTheHeckMe I am so so sorry. Heartbroken for you 😞

Moose23IsHungry · 14/07/2017 11:26

Hi all, and sorry to those who have experienced losses. @whytheheckme I hope you recover quickly.

I have had two MMC in the past 9 months, and both ended with ERPCs.

Just got a positive test the other day, at only day 23 of my cycle (it's only 25 days usually). I'm not getting my hopes up of it going well, but you never know!

Obviously it's super early but I have been wrecked all week, which prompted me to take a test. And sure enough...!

CCBloom1 · 14/07/2017 11:28

I got a positive test last friday, proceeded by 3 more tests all positive.
I did A clear blue, which put me at around 5 week (3 from conception).

So I'm guessing around the 14th March for me!

This will be my first. Is anyone else ridiculously nervous about miscarrying.

Excited1103 · 14/07/2017 11:34

@Whytheheckme - I'm glad you aren't alone any more. Of course you're devastated, you need time to grieve for the lost little one. I still get a catch in my throat to think of mine that I lost so early before. Take good care of yourself. X

Excited1103 · 14/07/2017 11:35

Welcome @Moose23IsHungry and @CCBloom1, congratulations.

OnceUponaMama · 14/07/2017 14:29

Ccbloom1 - hi, this is my first and my edd is 12th March. Miscarriage is on my mind constantly! - I think it just goes with the territory as everything is new and you really don't know what is okay or not.

I'm so sorry to girls who have experienced losses-. My heart goes out to you. Flowers

Sallywiththegoodhurr · 14/07/2017 14:44

sallywiththegoodhurr hey!! Nice to have familiar faces joining.. Congrats again! 😘

Welcome other new ladies!!!!

Apart from extreme fatigue i have no symptoms.. I'm only 4+5 i know there's still PLENTY of time yet but is anyone else similar????

OrangeCloud18 · 14/07/2017 15:43

whytheheckme I am so sorry... take care of yourself!

After sleeping about 14hrs in a day, I feel a bit better. I am still feeling nauseous but have not thrown up today. My OH has gotten me ice lollies and some chocolate to keep my sugar levels up and I eat loads of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumber, etc as they seem to go down well.

CCBloom1 · 14/07/2017 15:49

BlueeSpottyTiger
I'm struggling to keep my eyes open at work, it's seems silly to be this tired this early on, I'm hoping this passes.

I suffer from low iron, could this be something that can contribute to the fatigue?

stumblymonkeyagain · 14/07/2017 16:48

Why the heck I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers

I hope that you can take some time out to grieve and treat yourself extra well over the next few weeks. Self-care is really important at times like this x

stumblymonkeyagain · 14/07/2017 16:53

@CCBloom1

Your low iron levels will definitely be contributing to tiredness. Have you seen a GP? They might suggest iron tablets while you're preggo...

stumblymonkeyagain · 14/07/2017 16:54

@OrangeCloud18 I've read a lot of people saying sucking on boiled sweets, especially ones with ginger helps with the nausea. I've seen some selling on Amazon that might be worth a try...

Flatwhite31 · 14/07/2017 16:55

Oh @WhyTheHeckMe I'm so sorry to read your news. Take care of yourself and cry as much as you need to. Xxx

I have been getting headaches the past two days. Anyone else getting them?

SS81C · 14/07/2017 16:55

@whytheheckme oh I'm so sorry. Look after yourselves. I'm glad your DH is with you now
Well after sleeping most of yesterday and a full 12 hours last night I thought I felt great today but nope back lying on the couch by 3pm after a stroll round a food festival! Meant to be going to a knitting group tonight but not sure I can muster the energy.

My Midwife phoned today - got my booking appointment a week Wednesday. She wasn't sure when to book my scan for as there's a three week difference with what my LmP makes me and what I think I am from when I'm fairly sure I ovulated so thinks she will go somewhere in the middle.

Doublegloucester · 14/07/2017 17:06

why the heck I'm so sorry Flowers xx

mamasiz · 14/07/2017 17:15

So sorry @WhyTheHeckMe - I hope you are being well taken care of by your family xx

whereareyousleep · 14/07/2017 17:15

I'm tired beyond belief today 5+4 I forgot how tiring the first trimester is. Can't wait for 2nd as I felt brilliant last time. Still not heard from a midwife and as I was consultant led last time due to thyroid issues I would have thought I would have at least had an appointment by now I'm fed up of ringing them now. Close family wedding tomorrow which will be fun trying to hide not drinking Confused

mamasiz · 14/07/2017 17:17

Thankyou @stumblymonkeyagain @SheSaidHeSaid SmileGot to work and had a good old cry in front of my very kind work colleagues. I feel a lot better now. This is worse than puberty! Must remember to go easier on myself.

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 14/07/2017 17:23

I'm so sorry, whytheheckme Flowers

Finished work at lunchtime, and was going to spend the afternoon tidying the house, which is frankly in a shocking state; instead I took a long nap as could barely keep my eyes open. So the house is still a shit tip and I'm still tired. Need to make a start on dinner but that means getting off the sofa which doesn't seem to be happening...

WhyTheHeckMe · 14/07/2017 17:57

Thanks ladies. With ds I felt pregnant, this time I just somehow didn't. I haven't had symptoms for the last week really but everyone kept reassuring me i was lucky :-(

I guess it's just one of those things, the thing that's got to me the most is that they told me the baby was progressing but it got stuck either in or just near my tube (tbc next week) which is why it's not survived. My body's naturally getting rid of it now, I just need it to be over so I can move on. My hcg level is only 67, and should have been more like 30,000 by now. I have not stopped crying all day.

A lot more pregnancies are successful than unsuccessful so please don't let my story worry you, I'm just one of the unlucky few this time.

Cherish every second of pregnancy, it really is a magical thing xxx

NorthernBelly · 14/07/2017 18:14

Thanks Stumbly, we're on hols in Filey (glamorous!!) It's been good to get away and be out and about so I've had a limited time to think/worry (and spend £££ on repeat hpts!). I'm just focusing on getting through to 6 weeks then will book an early scan and hopefully see a heartbeat. I think I might feel a bit more confident then. Has anyone else had an early reassurance scan yet?

So sorry to hear of people's losses. It's a horrible, sad experience - look after yourselves and take as much time as you need to recover.
