fanko mind out of the gutter please too early for that!!!

She used to call Archie from Balamory fat pratt too. That was dh's fault though. He just casually said 'look at that fat pratt' one day whilst watching it and we looked straight at dd who didn't appear to have heard, then next time it was 'fat pratt' as soon as he came on the tv!!!! She stores everything in her brain. We think we get away with stuff but, nope never!

FIL was driving and was stuck at some traffic lights said fucking hurry up or something MIL & FIL looked round, dd looking blissfully ignorant. Then when they were coming home got to that set of traffic lights and she says 'fucking hurry up'. But only at those ones!!!! I can't believe her sometomes, very funny makes us ROFL very frequently!!!

Morning all, sorry no babies last night

I have had about 20mins sleep, as i just can't get comfortable, the DT who is breach won't let me lie on it and the weight of both Dt's on one side is unberable, and being on my back hurts to much too, so I am out of options. I may try sleeping standing up.

Had some big pains (mainly in my back) this morning so I had a bath they seem to have eased off a bit now.

Will just have to see what happens for the rest of today.

Sorry I couldn't deliver some babies for you all to cluck over.

Eddas · 20/03/2007 10:33

1b3, try what dh suggested to me when i said i couldn't lay on either side, back or front, fix a bar to the ceiling and hang upside down like batman!!!

For me the worst bit of being pg is the sleeping. I hate being tired. I'm sure no one enjoys it but i get in terrible moods and hate myself when i'm tired so i'm sure i'm a bitch to be around!

weeonion · 20/03/2007 10:33

doghouse - i am with you on teh nct route as well. our group has turned out to be really dead on - emails flying every day along with texts. last class tonight - and we are getting a "real" baby brought in - woooooooo !!!! all meeting up on thursday afternoon for natter / gossip.

dp "helped" with perineal massage - bless him. i do moan somethimes but he can be a star at times. not as bad as i thought but think we went through 1/2 bottle lube. thank god my job supplies me with plenty - another 4 weeks to go!

weeonion · 20/03/2007 10:36

1b3 - maybe movements today?? fingers crossed for you - my bets are well on you to be the first to oblige with a bubba for the rest of us to ooh and aah over!

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 10:39

Morning - Just saw a bit of that In The Night Garden when I popped into a friends (we don't have a TV) Oh my word - it was truly awful - made me feel glad I don't own a TV tbh!! Yuk. Bring back The Magic Roundabout, Pigeon Street, Bagpuss and The Clangers - That's what I say!!

Do email me about the sheepskin Katy - I'll negotiate a good price for you while I am working today and have one put aside and then when the cheque clears (v.skint atm, not that I don't trust you hon! ) - I'll post it off. Guessing postage will be about £4 ish and sheepskin about £45 - so call it £50; but I'll see if I can do you a cheaper deal!!

Super.

Bump as wriggly as ever - don't think he / she has turned yet - Come one bubba!!

1B3 - my friend slept propped up one about a million pillows when she was heavily PG with DT's - Perhaps you could try that!!!?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 20/03/2007 10:51

Email sent CD!
Know what you mean about being skint - this month is fairly short so not too bad but January was horrendous and last month was bad as we were overdrawn from the January!
Thanks for sorting this out for me, think I'll probably lie on it myself while on ML before the birth!
Are they washable by the way?

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 10:52

Hope your bump gets moving - have you tried bribery?

maveta · 20/03/2007 10:56

Feeling very grumpy today aswell from being tired. Everytime the phone goes I feel like screaming at them to leave me alone

1b3 - I'm so sorry you are having a rotten time sleeping, a while ago when I was having a rough patch I really did think we'd need to hang a harness from the ceiling that I could just lean forward into and doze standing up!

I'm starving..off to find some food.

geordiemacminx · 20/03/2007 10:59

my sister had a sheep skin when she was wee... my mam put it on the wrong cycle... it came out about the size of a piece of A4...most amusing!!!

With not working anymore I'm very aware of what I'm spending... as dp and I have seperate accounts..

Having said that - got maternity pay through yesterday - 3.5k... now do I pay off a wee loan I have thus making us completely debt free.... or do we have a fab holiday when the little one comes.... hmmmmmmm

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 11:02

Will check email in a sec Katy! Yes, the ones we sell can go in a normal washing machine on a delicates cycle (well I put mine in there anyway and it has never done it any harm!! ) It needs thoroughly drying again before you use it again (can't take a couple of days) and does tend to go a bit hard and crunchy, but a few days use and it is supple and lovely again. Just call me the resident MN sheepskin expert!!

Have been feeding bubs biscuits and chocolate in the hope I can coax him / her round; but doesn't seem to have made any difference so far - Perhaps I should pick up the pace?? Cheese strings and Fruit Shoots!!!!?

You get your maternity pay in one go??
I'd go for paying off the debts - but then I'm a misery
I'll bear that in mind about the sheepskin - although I tend to have the opposite problem, DH has plenty of T shirts he'll now be able to wear if he puts on 10 stone around the middle! If I washed the sheepskin on the wrong cycle it'll come out the size of a football pitch and a bit baldy!!

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 11:03

I can remember some of what I've read this morning, so a few personals!

GMM - sorry you are feeling down today. Not working can be quite a shock I think, however much you look forward to it. I am sort of half looking forward to / half dreading stopping at the end of next week . ..

1b3 - sorry to hear you had no sleep and that they're still in! CD's suggestion of a pillow-mountain could be the way to go?!

Emmymummy - I got DD a cinderella dressing up outfit from Woolworths yesterday, as she's very into Cinderella and imaginitive play at the moment. I'm going to wrap it up and it will be her "special big sister" present, rather than a present from the baby as I think she'd cotton onto the fact that the baby hadn't been to the shops! I've also got two comics which I know she'll like (she's particularly keen on that Sparkle World one, but she's a bit younger than Emily) and which will keep her busy. Mind you, as the baby is due on Easter day, she'll probably be more than distracted enough by all the extra chocolate she's bound to get given!

DD spent all yesterday going on about that "In the Night Garden" programme, just because they've bloody trailed it so much. So we rushed back from swimming to watch it, and I must admit I was very dissappointed - very much aimed at younger kids I thought, which was a bit odd as it was on at 6.30pm? She seemed to like it, but I think we'll try to stick with Numberjacks and Nina and the Neurons in future!

Where is my tesco delivery?! When I'm at work and dashing home for the 5-7pm slot he's there on the dot of 5. When I'm at home and dying to get on I'm last on the list!

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 11:07

Well I'm off to drink some nutritious coca cola - see if I can get my bump wiggling

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 11:14

Hi CD!!

geordiemacminx · 20/03/2007 11:25

i only got it in one go because i am director of my own company, so i claim it all as the company director then am supposed to distribute it to my employee on a weekly or monthly basis.. but since i am the director and employee i can do with it as i want...

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 11:38

Car is not so bad - drivable and the indicator still works, which is a minor miracle! Needs bumper / light fitting replaced at some point, but not imminently, which is good cos we can't afford it atm!! I think DH has "got over" it now! Silly man.

Have replied to your email katy!

CD - do you put the lanolin in the washing machine for the lambskin????

Didn't manage to get a sleep in - need to pick up ds2 now - think will do lots of colouring in this afternoon and printing stuff off internet to colour in etc, dvd and some crisps for bribery!

(((waves))) to everyone!

maveta · 20/03/2007 11:48

Hi Octo!

Thanks for the hugs CD - most appreciated.. just feeling tired but also slightly stressed at how disorganised boss is when I only officially have 4 days to go. I am supervising 2 people at the moment and they are still very reliant on me to tell them what to do/ how to do it despite my attempts to try and extract myself from the whole thing.

Bah. Still haven't got food.. must go find something. Big kisses to everyone! xx
