having a good day all round, called tesco earlier after spotting something on another thread, can't find my clubcard rewards from last year, they are valid for 2 years but must be approaching date, planned to save them up and use for something big. called them and they are adding the points back on so they will be re-issued with my next lot in May

so i now have £26.50, £26, £18.50, £16, £16.50 in vouchers, which with it being £10 voucher = £40 off on the deals they do (holidays, goldsmiths etc) i have loads to spend

might mean i can take the boys away this year, or even get myself some nice jewellery

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:34

and my decision to ask justin to leave has proven to be the best thing all round, he lost his job in feb and yesterday got the sack from the new one. how stressful would that have been if he was still living here?!

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 15:34

Nice one Ellie - wish we had two pennies to rub together (preferable magical ones which multiply - QUICKLY!! )

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 15:37

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:37

Ellie, did you get sick of Fanko?

nuttygirl · 20/03/2007 15:40

CD - does your shop have any ivory socks...in 0-3months sort of size. I'm looking for some for baby's christening but am having difficulty finding any.

Tili · 20/03/2007 15:54

afternoon everyone

hello bramshott buddy

Hensden I have to try and get my baby to turn too. the midwife said to me that the bottom of my bump felt virtually empty so I keep having a bit of a prod to see if appears any fuller but so far no.
The problem im having at the moment is when I do the whole bum in the air thing afterwards when I get back up I have terrible pains in my bump. The only way I can describe it is like instead of turning around he is moving outwards instead iyswim.
Cant tell you how painful it was DH was a bit worried at one point that I was about to recreate the famous scene from alien but instead of an alien ripping out of my tum it will be a screaming baby boy !!

CD I didnt know that you were in the same prediciment.Have you been trying any turning methods?

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:58

Wow it's really snowing here! What's it like where everyone else is?

nuttygirl · 20/03/2007 16:03

it's started snowing here too...

nuttygirl · 20/03/2007 16:04

Oh and GMM it was me!!! think my brain got a bit confused!! Sorry. I've noticed an increase but thought it was from using my 'rabbit'

geordiemacminx · 20/03/2007 16:09

I'm sure dealing with lube would be more interesting than antennas and radio propergation!!!

Katy - glorious sunshine up here - had 2 loads of washing on the line... infact I can hardly see the computer screen for the sun streaming through the window

Mam been complaining about the snow though!!

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 16:12

It's just stopped.
I'm a bit worried Dh is going to have a nightmare drive home as he says it's much worse up there (Sunderland!!)
Thought you lot up in Scotland would be buried in 6 feet of it!

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 16:17

Nope, but I have some you can borrow - cute little 0-3 ivory ones with a frill round the top .....

OP posts:
geordiemacminx · 20/03/2007 16:26

no snow at all here yesterday or today, had a wee flury on sunday but that was it!

its mad - a few flakes of snow and the world comes to a stand-still.... people loose the ability to drive

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 16:27

My post was for nutty btw - about the socks (just in case anyone though I was mad - which I am, obviously! )

OP posts:
