Pesha - know how you feel with the sickness I haven't gone a day since about 5wks without throwing up, not to feel sick all the time will be bliss.
Can anyone tell me is there an easy way to tell what way up bubs is, MW said he was transverse with his head down and I should spend as much time with my bum in the air to turn him. That was two weeks ago I see her again next wk, I'll be 38+3, I can't wait that long I want to know now if he's truned, so that I can stop worrying.. what would you do??

Still got building work going on here, really want to get, DD bedroom, my bedroom, and nursery sorted, they said they should be finished this weekend so that gives me two weeks to decorate three bedrooms and tile a bathroom. DH says not to stress but he doesn't do decorating, so it's down to me might help the baby turn I suppose.

Men, what are they good for ???????

bubblez · 20/03/2007 15:01

Oh cd didn't realise that your only 35weeks, in that case I hope its not contractions!

Heavy preasure on noonie here too... I just thought that maybe it might be the babba making its way down..

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:02

they seem to be going for £10 without p&p on ebay katy.

i figured that for £6 it wouldn't matter if it was no good!

and it topped up my car seat order so i got free postage, meaant it actually cost me nothing!

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:02

Katy - with just one, you probably don't need a swim carrier as you can just hold onto him! Not sure if I've seen people using the one that Ellie's linked to, but lots of people have this sort of thing which is another option.

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:04

Do you think they face inwards or outwards? If outwards, do you think it looks as though you have incredibly hairy nipples?!

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:05

Ooh, I like the look of that Chicco CT 0.5 they have in the Kiddicare bargains section . . .

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:06

Bramshott, but it's a bargain! I can't resist! (No wonder I'm skint at the end of each month)

bubblez · 20/03/2007 15:06

can you imagine one of them fallin out your bra on an evening of passion!!

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:06

It says "inwards for warmth, or outwards for fun" Surely more fun for the wearer if they're facing inwards?!?

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:08

matthew hated that rubber ring thing, he just wanted to get in the water!

and whilst it would have been useful as matthew was so heavy, i probably wouldn't have bothered with just the one to be honest. i am hoping it might make putting bags in and out of lockers easier too.

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:08

Ooh, have you seen the little shoes on the second page of bargains!! I want some!!

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:09

Yes, don't know why but I imagine they have those horrible scratchy backs, bet they're really rough

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:09

can't believe you 2 are seriously discussing nipple warmers

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 15:10

What are you guys like??

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:11

Just missed a load of posts - including one from my buddy! Hello!
Hope your baby turns soon, sorry I don't know any way to tell, I can't feel anything remotely like a baby part in my bump

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:11

ooh no katy, those shoes are scrummy! saw some at the baby show a couple of years ago, the leather is just so soft!

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:12

Nope, now I'm drooling over little shoes here and trying to work out if I can justify buying any

Bramshott · 20/03/2007 15:12

I want the green ones !!

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:13

Oh no they have adhesive backs.
Could make bf interesting

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:15

Ellie - you do know I was talking about the nipple warmers you kindly pointed out?
I've just managed to get to the shoes page - they are lovely and not a scratchy back in sight!

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 15:15

Come on someone have a baby!

EllieK · 20/03/2007 15:16

ROFL

no katy, i did think you meant the shoes

bubblez · 20/03/2007 15:26

those little shoes are soo cute!! I can't wait to find out if baby is a girl or boy so that I can really start buying....[impatient]

CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 15:30

Ooooh, another opportunity - W sell Starchild shoes and they are absolutely delicious (completely justifiable reason to buy them imho ) I can do £15 all in??

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 20/03/2007 15:32

From a "purchasing" POV I am hoping for a boy as we're totally kitted out for a wee girlie, having already had two an' all! (Perhaps I could accidently "loose" the box of girls clothes we got out of the loft yesterday?? )
