Nice... I got measure last weekend at bravissamo in Brighton. I was originally a 32d and is been told in marks and spencers (when I was 7 weeks pg) that I was a 34dd. Hated the bra... rode up and kept spilling out. Got measured last weekend at bravissamo and I'm 32f!!! Fits perfectly and I feel so much better. Cost about 70 for 2 but so so worth it and amazing friendly service. Good luck x

Zampa · 11/06/2017 19:49

Welcome MotherHippy! There's a stats spreadsheet in the OP if you'd like to add your details?

Topsyloulou · 11/06/2017 20:09

We had our private scan today to tell DS about the baby & find out the gender. He took it really well and is very excited. He waved back when the baby was waving during the scan! Baby didn't want to play ball but eventually was in the right position and we're having a girl!

We took DS to John Lewis after & he picked some babygros for her. They'll be the first ones she wears. He keeps asking if she has grown enough yet to arrive! It could be a long 5 months! He thinks it's super cool he'll be able to feel her kick soon.

Motherhippy16 · 11/06/2017 20:18

Zampa.... so if I'm being stupid... (can I blame baby brain yet?!?!?) What's the op and how do i do it? X topsy.... congratulations on scan! X

izzibee29 · 11/06/2017 20:19

@butterybollocks think I'll be changing to factor 50 for the rest of the summer

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/06/2017 06:31

I need some advice please! Been feeling the baby move just little bubbles since Tuesday last week but I don't think I felt it Saturday or sunday is that normal or should I call the midwife? I have been feeling a sharp pain in my side but not sure if it's food related or baby related. 17+2 today x

Zampa · 12/06/2017 06:52

Bubba My personal thoughts are that we are still at a fairly early stage to feel regular movements. General recommendations are that kicks should be counted from 24-28 weeks onwards. However, if you're anxious, please get things checked. Triage were never judgmental or difficult when I turned to in my 1st pregnancy.

The sharp pain - is it constant or intermittent? I get sharp, stabbing pains occasionally, which I think are just stretching/growing pains.

Mother The opening/original post (OP) has a link to a shared Google spreadsheet. Some of us have entered our "statistics" including due dates/scans/baby sex etc. Feel free to add your details, should you wish.

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/06/2017 07:03

@zampa it's a sharp intermittent pain feels different to the other side pains I've had which I've put down to round ligament pain. Is it best to call the midwife or GP?

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2017 07:22

@Bubbasmama2017 I'd call midwife and monitor it too. I get random sharp pins hat I associated with growing pains and have also only felt baby once or twice (now 19+4). I'm hoping I will feel more later on, I guess everyone is different in when they notice it. Hope everything is ok for you and I think always best to get peace of mind x

Motherhippy16 · 12/06/2017 11:10

Zampa.... really can't find it but I'll put mine here...
Age 31
First baby due 30th November
Currently 15+4 weeks
20 week scan on 13th July....
Much love to all x

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/06/2017 19:24

I spoke to the midwife earlier and she said not to worry about not feeling the baby every day at this stage. I'm still freaking out though got stomach cramps that are coming and going and really worried. Sad I've heard you can have early braxton hicks has anyone ever felt them?

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2017 20:22

Sorry @Bubbasmama2017 not felt them. Glad midwife was confident things are ok although must be hard for you to feel ok too x

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2017 20:22

19 weeks!

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/06/2017 20:35

Very cute bump @lydiangel83

lydiangel83 · 12/06/2017 20:39

Thanks @Bubbasmama2017 I still get sharp-ish cramp/ mild shooting pain/ discomfort and wondering if that is Braxson Hicks? I guess you don't know if you've not experienced before!!

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/06/2017 20:42

@lydiangel83 possible I'm always trying to find reasons for the pains but the midwife just says it's ligament pains and to expect it! (Not in those words of course she's really nice Smile)

LonelyCooler · 12/06/2017 20:49

Told everyone at work about the baby today they couldn't belive I have been able to keep it quiet and hidden for so long (my bump is quite big now) !! Almost 18 weeks now it's going so quickly.

DuRezidal · 12/06/2017 21:25

I have been feeling the baby move since around 15 weeks but he is now quite active at times but you can't feel the movements from the outside yet.

I have lost so much weight with my surgery and hospital stay etc that my little bump has completely disappeared nowConfused Hopefully it will start to come back a bit now I am home.

I am back at work part time from today, obviously no riding, but I have bought myself a motorbility scooter so able to teach from home at least.

stuckinny · 12/06/2017 21:41

@Bubbasmama2017, I'm not sure if what I feel is Braxton hicks but I often feel a tightening. I've felt some discomfort over the last few days too but have put it down to there being so movement going on - organs having to move, muscles relaxing, baby trying to make room.
I remember having what I can only assume we're Braxton Hicks with DS. They felt quite similar. I'm not a good judge though as even when I was in labour I didn't really feel the contractions and didn't realise that is what they were until I was hooked up to the monitor. My belly just felt tight. I discovered then that I have quite a high pain tolerance

My bump has definitely grown over the last week. Last Friday I was still in regular clothes, by Monday I couldn't do up my trousers. Managed to find a couple of things at the weekend and am happily in maternity trousers today, even though DS laughed at them this morning. He thought the extra material that goes over your belly was hilarious.

@DuRezidal sorry to hear about your accident but I'm glad you're able to get up and about again.

lydiangel83 · 13/06/2017 01:53

@DuRezidal sounds like you are really suffering :( Flowersfor you x

lydiangel83 · 13/06/2017 01:54

@stuckinny @Bubbasmama2017 that tightening of the belly is something I've experienced also put it down to growing movement. Also grown suddenly in last 2 wks!

butterybollocks · 13/06/2017 09:07

I've had lots of aches over the past few days, I think it must be everything stretching as I'm expanding rapidly! 18 weeks today!

Bubbasmama2017 · 13/06/2017 09:31

morning all, its really reassuring to hear everyone is having the same aches and pains. I think pregnant friends in the past have either not mentioned them or have been really lucky as no one explained that I would feel like this every day! had a terrible nights sleep with hip and groin pain, so work is going to be a long day :-( hope every feels a bit better today x

lydiangel83 · 13/06/2017 10:52

After a sleepless night, 20 wk scan is done! All was fine, baby all normal although wouldn't stop wriggling around! So relieved!

MsBranwen · 13/06/2017 11:11

Hey there, can I join you ladies? I'm 30 and this is my first baby. I'm 19 weeks 6 days, due Nov 1st and having 20 week scan tomorrow. Feeling really nervous! Definitely have a bit of a bump now and have felt quite a few flutters, sure some of them must have been baby!

Lovely to hear your scan went well @lydiangel
