Hello! Just got my bfp, would love to join up with others expecting next Feb.

My DD is 16 months, so we're expecting (almost exactly!) a 2yr age gap all being well. EDD 2nd Feb.

So sorry conker, hope you've got plenty of support with you Flowers

ELFR · 15/06/2017 09:17

Hi all,

Can I join in? First pregnancy, midwife appt booked for 26th June. Feeling very sick and sorry for myself today so taken the day off work. Worried about how to juggle a busy busy job, long commute and being pregnant. Absolutely terrified!

TriJo · 15/06/2017 09:21

So sorry conker Flowers

lookatthemoon · 15/06/2017 09:32

So very sorry Conker Flowers

EmilyK83 · 15/06/2017 11:01

Hey ELFR! I'm in the same boat - first pregnancy and terrified!

Stomach still queasy this morning, last night was NOT pretty. Trying to keep well hydrated but no idea if it's pregnancy-related or just a stomach bug.

5+1 today. And my anxiety is through the roof. I think it's because I was still smoking 20 a day till I found out...and I keep reading horror stories...

Troika · 15/06/2017 11:47

So sorry conker.

Alicantine glad I'm not the only crazy one with lots of children Wink Mine are 11, 9 and 15 months. I think we'll be done after this one though. My biggest worry is having to get a bigger car as I'm shit at parking!

Nausea has subsided a lot since yesterday morning which is making me worry... Trying to adopt a what will be will be attitude but it's not easy.

Thattwatoverthere · 15/06/2017 11:56

So sorry conker Flowers

I'm off to buy a CBD today to see what it tells me, I've only done the cheapo Asda tests so far and feel like splurging seeing as there's no point buying clothes right now

Nausea still in full effect at 5+6 but no puking yet. Also some really severe cramps that come and go, unsure if it's pregnancy related or stomach/IBS. It's all too close together to tell. Boobs seem a bit less painful though, I think the pain has spread to my head...

VocalCat · 15/06/2017 12:50

Thank you everyone.

Conker I am so sorry. It's absolutely a horrible situation to be in. Big hugs. Hopefully we will both be back very soon on another pregnancy thread.

Mrskjneate · 15/06/2017 12:55

Hi ladies, mind if i join? Got my BFP 2 days ago and am 3+5 so very early days. EDD is 25th Feb 2018. We've been ttc since Nov 16, fell pregnant straight away but it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. This is the first positive Weve had since then and feels like its been such a long time. Feeling low today and very crampy like period about the show its ugly head. Really hoping for the best. Congrats to all you other ladies who are due in Feb xx

Emwahs · 15/06/2017 13:13

@conker I am so sorry! Know the feeling well xxx

I am getting super paranoid now as the morning sickness has stopped, still sore boobs but not seeming as tired today. I am seven weeks today and paranoid it's a missed miscarriage as I know my sister has had a few :-( I don't want to waste midwifes time as she only just contacted me yesterday to make my booking in appointment. Has anyone had symptoms go and everything be fine. I have had no bleeding so that's a good sign and I know there is only 1% chance of missed miscarriage but why do our brains go into over drive!

lookatthemoon · 15/06/2017 13:24

Emwahs - I could have written your post. My MS has suddenly disappeared in the past few hours and it is really freaking me out. Still have sore boobs. My obsessive internet searching suggests fluctuating symptoms can be normal?! Hopefully ...

GingerRogers84 · 15/06/2017 15:22

@Alicantine I'm one of 9 children and Christmas and birthdays are so much fun even now we are all grown. 😊

SquintySquirrel · 15/06/2017 15:45

Hi all,

Just noticed this board as I was on the other Feb 18 board for first babies.

Got my BFP on Monday which was a CB digital saying 1-2. I'm a super worrier tho so have continued to test this week!

Cycles are usually 28-32 (more commonly 32) so EDD on online calculator is between 20-24 Feb.

I'm super nervous and checking underwear constantly!! AF due on Sat so I'm hoping it doesn't come (have been reading about chemical pregnancies so I'm terrified!)

Started taking pregnacare max vitamins and seeing GP next week.

Wishing everyone a H&H 9 months!

Haven't read the full thread but have seen some posters who have suffered losses at this stage so just wanted to send Flowers to those

pretzelpieces · 15/06/2017 16:14

I'm sorry conker and thinking of you too, vocal. Sad

Welcome new folks and congrats on your bfps.

Special welcome to you choo, I'm glad you're feeling sick (ykwim). Come on sticky bean.

Can we please do boy/girl/surprise rather than team pink/team blue/team yellow? Let's bring this thing into the 21st century!

I realise I'm a few pages late on this but our notes are a giant yellow folder. Nice and inconspicuous.

loxy I'm a 32ff and I like the miriam stoppard nurture bras, I got them from Debenhams, they're non wired but foam cups so have some structure to them. I've got the nursing ones as I'm still nursing DD but you can get plain maternity ones too.

I'm 7 weeks and feeling plenty sick and tired. Very reassuring for now but I'm being a bit of a rubbish mum to DD in the mean time. She's getting an interest in cbeebies anyway. Grin

Thanks for the info pretzel I'll see if I can find them to try on!

More questions - how much is a reasonable price for an early scan? The one place I've looked at charges £89, is that about right? Based in Cambridgeshire on the off chance that anyone can recommend a place.

Toomanydogs · 15/06/2017 16:33

Loxy I'm Cambs/ Norfolk border I couldn't find any online cheaper than that either.

pretzelpieces · 15/06/2017 16:39

I'm Surrey and it's £130 (hence why I'm not having one!). 😱

OP posts:
Melody85 · 15/06/2017 17:25

Hi Loxy I had an early scan on Tuesday and it was £95, so £89 sounds reasonable.. I definitely recommend it, I was convincing myself something was wrong but the tiny little bean was in the right place with a strong little heartbeat at only 6weeks 4 days!
It certainly gave me a boost as I feel terrible staying this, but I feel so so sick and tired that I'm really not enjoying the whole experience at the moment 😔

Melody85 · 15/06/2017 17:27

Sorry just catching up with messages so so sorry @vocal and @conker

Mummyhen5 · 15/06/2017 18:21

I'd love to join too, been lurking for a while without posting, my Edd is 3rd Feb, feeling tired and really suffering with headaches and sore boobs, the sickness is coming and going at the moment, fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse.
Sorry to those who are suffering early losses, my heart goes out to you

LulusForest · 15/06/2017 18:46

So sorry conker Flowers

I am exactly 4 weeks today, based on my most likely ovulation date, and my only symptoms have been slightly sore breasts, an achey lower back and mild cramping. The cramping started off being all over, but just yesterday and today I've been getting sharp twinges low down on the right hand side only. Of course I googled it and read that it can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy! I am sure that in many cases, it's not though!

Please someone tell me they have had cramps/twinges on one side and it turned out to be fine? I think I may have to ban myself from google for the next few weeks Blush

UnglamorousMum · 15/06/2017 19:21

@LulusForest I have been getting right hand twinges, and did with my first baby almost 3 years ago, and all was fine. Probably linked to implantation x
