Brens the 17th shall be lovely. We're driving up to Norfolk to see DH's nan, who is the most bloody lovely lady I have ever met. Big squishy nan cuddles so it'll be lovely to be able to tell her what it is. Presuming the spider baby is cooperative ...

How you feeling today Beardy?

Aw zaber that does sound like a great day. No getting excited and forgetting to update us with the pic of our new superhero spiderbaby! There's a couple of family members I really can't wait to tell as I know they'll be super excited.

And I can't wait to see the picture of your shopping. I'm itching to buy stuff but don't want to tempt fate before the scan (I've obviously bought a few cute babygrows and various books but none of the really fun stuff yet!). Give me two weeks and I'll be right there with you!!

Also I'm definetly showing now if that's possible with your first baby. I'm struggling with my gym leggings and already having to roll them down as they hurt my stomach which frees it. My work dress this week showed my bump so clearly. I'm a size 10 normally and really active so I'm thinking it's a bump. Even my dh and family are starting to question whether it's twins. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if it is as this is our first scan. Eek!! Is this even normal already?

zaber I'm doing okay today. My nausea seems to be at night but it is starting to get easier. Although I can see things can get worse again so I'm waiting to see. How's your throats and sickness!

Sad day today for me as it's the one year anniversary of my mum passing away so I'm a mess. Major pregnancy emotions. Hoping my dh comes home and looks after me. My big dog is my saviour right now. Xx

I found a pack of Nando's marinade ... I am sorted! Obviously I will marinade something. Not just eat the sauce.

Though Nando's sauce on mash is amazing!

I'm having Thai red chicken curry with rice. Just bought it at the supermarket. Proper food!

I think sausage and mash tonight... Despite my weekend sausage overdose!
Might have Thai curry tomorrow now lapin has made me think of it.... I'll see what everyone else is having lol.
Off to Jersey on Sat to see friends and they've booked a lovely seafood restaurant, can't wait!

Sorry for the delay in replying, went from scan back to work and just getting caught up on the thread now but thought I'd post quickly in the meantime.

Zaber that banana looks gross! I've seen people tweet before about stuff like that, but I'm too shy for that sort of social media publicity haha.

Lixon and MaryShelley how did you get on?

So the news from our scan is that all is ok, baby was playing cheeky monkeys so i had to have an internal too but luckily they got the measurements they need and they told me I'll hear back in 2-3 weeks about the results of the screening tests. Got forward dated to 12+5 so my EDD is now 9th December. I'll update the spreadsheet. Very very happy bluebell here now, and looking forward to now being able to tell more people. Planning to tell work in the next few days too.
