Hi lovely ones! Just back from Edinburgh, huge spew of my rather lovely dinner as soon as I walked on the door! joyous!

Been with my parents today, they're totally Team Blue for us, keep referring to 'him', have no idea why. I think I'll have a boy though! OH definitely wants a boy, I honestly don't mind although think I would love a little girl at some point x

That has flown by glasto. Although I'm sure you don't feel that way. I'm twelve weeks today and feel overjoyed at that, or at least will do when we've had our scan today if everything is confirmed as ok. I'm so scared still.

Carlotta hope you enjoyed Edinburgh, I love it there. Sorry to hear you were sick again. How are you feeling now? Less anxious at all?

We are going to find out too. Not sure yet if we'll pay for a private gender scan or wait for twenty weeks. (I'm so impatient and love the idea of an extra scan so it's likely ill try and justify a private gender scan!!). I keep saying him but I think that's because most of the kids around us at the moment are boys. We have a boys name we love but are struggling with girls names. DH wasn't fussed about finding out but he's agreed we can as he knows how much I'd love to know.

I'm working this morning (not this early but I can't sleep at the moment) and then popping off to my appointment at lunchtime with DH. I'll report back tonight to let you know how the scan was.

Good luck for scans everyone! 10+4 here and I've woken with stabbing pains in my left side down by my hip. I think it's where the ligaments are? So sore

We had our NIPT scan last Tuesday and due to measuring 4 days behind my dates (exactly the same as first scan) I was 1 day too early for the blood tests so we are back there again this afternoon to have the tests and also get another scan and more piccies! We'll also be finding out gender with the results next week.

I can't believe I'm still so nervous even though this is now the 3rd scan and everything was perfect last week. After today we have our NHS one next Friday so will have 3 in a row over 3 weeks....will be good to see the progress.

I'm actually looking really pregnant now, got an actual bump at 11+1. Surely it's not normal to show this early??

Lol! Glad I'm not the only one Lapin! Everyone at work is commenting, so much so that we actually went completely public last week after the scan as it's impossible to hide!

Lapin I've had that too on and off. And pains in my lower abdomen area, twinges etc. But I think it's thing stretching from what I was told.

Mary I'm exactly the same. I'm sure I get more nervous with each scan! Great news you've got 3 in 3 weeks though, what a great way to see the development happening.

I'm sure I've got a little bump starting to show too but sometimes it just looks like I've eaten too many pies and sometimes it's more bump shaped to me. Not sure others would notice it as a bump yet though really. Just me being wishful thinking I reckon.

I think this morning is going to be a long morning for me, waiting for the scan time after lunch.

Hi everyone - lovely to hear about burgeoning bumps but sorry for those on the anxious bench. I think it's perfectly normal at this stage tbh - I was beginning to feel a bit fraudulent as symptoms had abated and I didn't feel pregnant. Had scan for the NIPT yesterday and baby has caught up to my original dates (don't know if you remember the saga!)

It was being an awkward bugger though and the pictures are rubbish - hopefully it will move before monday's dating scan. I'm now 11 + 5. Just got the horrible wait for results then feel I can relax a bit...

Oh thank you for your post. Went to bed last night crying on phone to DH about weird pains stabby on left and right side way down near pubic bones. I have been bleeding so definitely thought the worst. Bleeding settled through the night again but stabby pains still there. I have a fairly fat belly so hard to tell if there is a bump, but I am sure there is a small area down at front of pelvis that doesn't feel like fat when lying down!!!
I am same dates as you, so hoping that funny pains are normal!
This shit is hard. Nobody ever tells you that first 12 weeks are torturous. And almost everyone I have mentioned the bleeding to irl just says oh yeah I had bleeding too!
Good luck on scans today all. I am gonna try and get one on Friday at the epu. Hoping all this bleeding is just the hematoma they saw last time bleeding itself out.

I've still got horrendous bloating and look about 5 months pregnant, which is gutting as I'm sure I can occasionally feel my 'real' bump. I'm desperate to see it properly but it doesn't stand a chance at the moment!!

I haven't heard anything since my scan last Monday so I'm pretty sure that means I am low risk for all the chromosomal issues and just have to wait for the results in the post now - they said they would phone me by yesterday if high risk. More waiting but I'm hopeful!!

Oh, and I get the lower abdomen pains all the time, the stretchy ones. They take my breath away sometimes. I wasn't expecting pregnancy to be almost constant niggly aches..

So so nervous I kept worrying through the night. Glad the scan is first thing today but so nervous nonetheless. Good luck for your scan today MrsBluebell.

I definitely have a small bump now, although it looks a lot larger because of all the extra gut. Getting away with floaty summer tunics for now.

Lapin I'm 10+4 today too and have been having the jabbing pains by my hips.

I've finally got to the trying not to worry too much about stuff stage now as it's 11 days to my scan (haven't had any early ones) and what will be will be. I think I'm just so exhausted I can't even be bothered to be anxious anymore. So I'm probably still on the worry bench, but lying down and having a nap, and hoping to not wake up until the 12th!

Hello my lovely lot!

11+2 here and firmly still on the anxious bench @Mrsbluebell17, worsening rather than abating I'm afraid. One week to go til scan. Luckily got my bestie and her new squishy baby coming to stay today until Sunday so will be busy til then, then new car delivery Tuesday so hopefully I can remain a bit distracted. So looking forward to hopefully feeling better after scan if all is well!

No sign of a bump here but I have a decent amount of weight on my tummy, so think it will take some time. Think I can prod around and feel the very top of my uterus over my pubic bone, but nothing obvious x

Glad I'm not the only one with a bump I was hoping what little remains of my abdominal muscles would hold it together for a few more weeks, clearly not!

I'm currently chilling out in the work toilet waiting for the room to stop spinning! Is anyone else finding they are NOT coping with the warm weather? My throat is too warm 😂 I'm hoping that's it healing from the tear!

@Zaberwocky - in certain clothes I already look pregnant and I'm not quite 10 weeks!!!!

Doctor I'm just trying to embrace it! Even though it means I've packed away ... 90% of my wardrobe!

Account at work is still disabled 😪 I estimate it'll take 10 days to sort out, and I leave in 5... I do question why I get up in the morning.

Abdominal muscles haha, what are they? Mine have a nice split in the middle that was just repairing and now gone again. Nice bump here too, which means I can only fit into two pairs of chinos and leggings, all my jeans have been relegated again. I wouldn't mind but only sold my maternity stuff last year. Oh and all the baby stuff went too. Any excuse for a shopping trip, although this time most things will be bought from local selling groups and Gumtree

Good luck all those with scans today! Mine is on Tuesday and it can't come quick enough.

So yesterday was eventful, I went to the gp to try and get something else to take for the sickness, I ended up in hospital on the maternity ward for the day with fluids being pumped in to me! Lol I feel slightly better today and I've been given new tablets to take alongside the cyclizine so fingers crossed this helps and I don't end up back in hospital!
