We'll be about the time for a gender scan around our anniversary, 11.7 will be 6 years since we met and 16.7 a year since we got engaged (oops, wedding delayed) so have also considered it as a surprise for my OH @glastogal however still teetering to team yellow I think, tempting though, very tempting! My whole family is totally Team Blue, no one thinks girl x

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 14:40

Carlotta and glasto - my DH doesn't really want to know, but I do. I think he's swayed that we will find out the gender but won't tell people, but I don't know if I could convince him to have an early private scan to find out - however it might help as people are holding stuff for us that is gender specific and so I think it's better to find out asap (well, that's my excuse Wink, that and the excuse for an extra scan hehe).

Do you mind me asking how much it's costing for the gender scan?

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 14:40

Biker - thanks I'll take a look at seraphine now.

CarlottaJo · 28/05/2017 14:54

Seraphine is lovely but pricey, depending on your budget there's a lot on eBay too xx

CarlottaJo · 28/05/2017 14:55

@Mrsbluebell17 I was the one that insisted we didn't know and now I've got OH totally in the mindset! Should think before I speak haha x

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 15:05

Thanks Carlotta. Ill have a look on eBay too Grin tightening up the purse strings where I can at the moment, hence my recent purchases being New Look (maternity jeans) and some Primark (non maternity but not too expensive if it stops fitting soon). I do think it's good if you can stay team yellow, but the control freak in me needs to know WinkHmmConfused

CarlottaJo · 28/05/2017 15:12

@Mrsbluebell17 primark will be a lifesaver I think, a friend was rating ASDA maternity for basics too xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 18:54

Ooooh I'll look online at Asda then Carlotta. That's good to know.

How's everyone's day been?

Zaber how was the rest of your weekend away?

glastogal · 28/05/2017 19:02

mrsB - the scan is £59 😲 but that does include some 4D scan time (which I'm quite excited about!)

OP posts:
Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 19:13

Ooooh that's good. I'll look into it.

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/05/2017 22:37

Tired out at usual but tonight I can't get to sleep, let alone stay asleep Hmm
Feeling stupidly worked up tonight. Started thinking about Thursday. I hope everything is ok with our scan Hmm so nervous.

i think this site is really good and not too badly priced....

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 00:25

I saw some of the mamalicious stuff on next too unicorn. Looks nice Grin is the quality good?

Oysterbabe · 29/05/2017 06:44

I think I'm going to buy one of the bump kits, I think they're pretty good value.

Beardy1 · 29/05/2017 06:51

oyster thanks for showing the bump kits. I think I'll be doing the same as well as the gym kit.

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 07:02

That's a good idea oyster. I ordered a few bits from Next yesterday too.

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 07:13

I'm just lying in bed now looking at Seraphine. There are some good things in the outlet - depending on what size you want!

Peachi82 · 29/05/2017 07:19

Morning :-)
10+0 today, start of the 11th week :-)
Was still sick yesterday and didn't keep my breakfast in, I hope this gets all better soon.
Will have a lazy day today, maybe I try and pop into the maternity charity shop and see what they have.
When I look at maternity clothes, I cannot quite believe that I'll develop a bump like this, seems very unreal!!!

Royalsteph · 29/05/2017 07:30

12 weeks today. 9 days until our scan, can't wait to see baby again.
Today's plan is shopping for the kids and a spot of lunch. Might even treat myself to some maternity jeans. Hope everyone has a good bank holiday Monday.

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 07:40

Hope you feel better soon peachi. It's such a difficult thing to get your head round as you want to feel better but then like today and yesterday my symptoms seemed very reduced and it has made me worry! Fingers crossed that as you get into the next few days you'll feel better.

Sounds like a nice day Steph! enjoy Smile

glastogal · 29/05/2017 08:05

Morning ladies.. been browsing the seraphina website thanks to that link.. some lovely stuff!!

This morning, laying on my back, for the first time I can feel a hard little bump in my abdomen 😆 can't be seen through the huge bloated belly still (wonder if the bloating is ever going away?) but I feel better for knowing it is there!!

OP posts:
CarlottaJo · 29/05/2017 08:09

How many weeks are you @glastogal? I really want to feel this!

@Mrsbluebell17 I'm feeling all worried too, 11 days to scan and desperately trying not to stress x

glastogal · 29/05/2017 08:11

Technically, I'm 13+5 now (from dating scan) Carlotta

OP posts:
Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 08:11

Glasto that's exciting - must be reassuring for you. I think that's one of the things worrying me. I'm bloating outwards but it's not overly firm yet. Only a few days to go until the scan - fingers crossed.

Excited to be able to tell people. It's my birthday in a few weeks so we will tell people when we see them then, if we don't see them before.

I really fancy a sausage breakfast roll this morning but we have no sausages or rolls Hmm looks like I'll be popping to the shops when they open!

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/05/2017 08:14

Carlotta sorry I cross posted then. I feel totally the same. How many weeks are you now?

I'm 11+4 according to my dates or 11+5 going on what they dated us at the early scan. So scan on Thursday is 12 weeks by my dates or 12+1 by the early scan dates. Really hoping for good news.

Really don't feel as sick today and didn't yesterday, but then I felt really sick the day before that. It's all worrying when you're a worrier like me!
