Yet another new thread, because just like all the remaining posters the old one is about to go pop.

nighty night and labour vibes to the pregnant ones...

runningal · 05/04/2007 08:24

Morning all,

Still here, still no baby. The midwife gave me a sweep yesterday (and can I just say, youch!) but other than some backache, it hasn't done much. She said she could feel baby's head, but didn't want to rummage around too much in case she broke my waters!

I've been booked for induction on the 14th, but I hope I've had it by then!

Hope all is well with everyone here. Would love to see your pics Diva when they're up. Glad you had a good day Mossie. And Toby is gorgeous, LS.

Today's vibes for labour, ladies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 05/04/2007 08:48

Morning all, I'm still here too

Woke up at 3, as usual and was cross and disappointed so didn't get back to sleep until about 6. I'm tired, but not so cross today

Mossie · 05/04/2007 09:22

Me too, still here.... didn't sleep so well last night, couldn't stop needing to wee.

Runningal sorry your sweep didn't work.

Kitty glad your crossness has gone!

Off to have some brekkie now, although maybe toast and jam and bacon butties are what is keeping that baby in there!!!

Birdiebump · 05/04/2007 10:12

Morning from the April thread! Since Kitty and Mossie have been on to say hello we want to keep an eye on when you have your babies as well!

Not yet I see....

Much sympathy from me as my last 2 were 18 and 12 days late respectively and I'm sure this one will go the same day so I'm going to have to lurk on the May thread!

I'm going to start asking for sweeps starting now (39 weeks today) as I think they did work eventually with DS2. Lots and lots of sweeps - goody, goody....

Good luck to you all and someone try to let us know when you pop!

Birdiebump · 05/04/2007 10:12

Meant go the same way obviously.....

Mossie · 05/04/2007 10:14

Thanks Birdiebump!!!

Good luck with your sweep!

Piffle · 05/04/2007 11:13

Happy Birthday for yesterday Mossie

Wow some of these last babies are sure dragging their little heels

come on chaps it's a nice day
out you come!

muppethasakitten · 05/04/2007 11:49

Oh i need sleep!!

Just posted on post natal thread as if it were antenatal thread.... ohhh well... we're all sleep deprived together aren't we!

Super night time party animal was back again last night... if i got 2 hours sleep it was a miracle... how much tea or coffee do you think i could drink today to stay awake without it creating even more of a night owl baby???

So I've found mossy and runningal and they haven't abandoned Kitty at all...

... think i'm lacking in omega3 as my brain is defo on go slow...

Sorry to hear about poor Jenson Jay - let us know how you get on...

LaidbackinEngland · 05/04/2007 12:46

Mossie - glad you had a good birthday !

Kitty - my Crystal ball must be broken ... Sorry

Labour vibes in bountiful amounts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Piffle · 05/04/2007 14:16

ouch for Jensens bum Jay
Have you got any metanium, Finn cropped up with red ass yesterday, lots of bum in the sun and metanium and it has gone
It is really good but obv if something is causing it you need to know
Damn @ misdiagnosis though, that is awful for him.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 05/04/2007 14:46

I had the great delight of going to Tesco today.

Not nice.

It was my first outing for a week and I was going stir crazy at home.
Of course Tescos was heaving and lots of people walked into me and I couldn't move out of anyone's way. I felt very vunerable and cross.

Now I am sitting on an ice pack

Mossie · 05/04/2007 19:02

Kitty sorry you had a crappy time in Tescos, the worst I think is when you're holding the trolley and the handle is right at bump level, you know that if someone walks into you you'll have a trolley handle shoved into your bump!!

Muppet I'm confused I would never abandon Kitty!!

Jay I hope Jensen is better soon.

I'm making some butties now for my hosi bag which I'm taking with me tomorrow just in case they keep me in, or incase, fingers crossed, the sweep & prod starts things off!

We are leaving quite early so I probably won't come on here tomorrow morning, if I get kept in I will ask someone to let you know, but I will probably be back tomorrow afternoon, knowing my luck!!!

muppethasakitten · 05/04/2007 19:08

Good luck mossy! Could all kick off for you tomorrow!!

Dang and blast it - just shrunk my 2 fave cardigans beyond salvage - DD (aged 9) is very happy as they're a perfect fit for her now! Gaaarrrggghhh - another sign my brain ain't functioning on lack of sleep... who puts woollen stuff on to wash at 60 degrees!!

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 05/04/2007 19:18

Ooh Muppet, I can't stand felted wollens, they make my teeth go funny !!

Good luck for tomorrow Mossy, I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you. I always think life at this stage would be so much easier if someone could say to us "your baby will come on..." then the wait would be easier to take wouldn't it?

runningal · 05/04/2007 19:55

Good luck for tomorrow Mossie - hope the sweep gets things started for you.

Kitty - I hate tescos too. Keep thinking I should shop online and have it delivered, but never seem to have time to go through my whole shopping list online.

Happy easter all, have a great weekend.

foxcub · 05/04/2007 20:15

Kitty - I felt really vulnerable in crowds with my bump too - seemed like the whole world was determined to knock it as they walked past...

Mossy - good luck for your sweep - hope it works, but after Dr Who at 7pm Sat

divastrop · 05/04/2007 21:02

just posted on site stuff about the photo thing..think i have to be on your mates list also for you to view the photos, thats what somebody said.

divastrop · 05/04/2007 21:06

kitty-i was given my induction date when i was 30 weeks and i still found the wait unbearable.you were only due a week after me and Elsie is 4 weeks tomorrow so i cant imagine how frustrated you're feeling.

asda was heaving today,i went there to get easter eggs and they's very conveiniently run out of the £1 ones and only had £4 ones left

CallieNewMum · 05/04/2007 22:11

Mossy - happy birthday for yesterday and good luck tomorrow. hope it all happens (without induction) for you.

Kitty and Runningal - keep breathing deeply, they have to come eventually. Don't they?

foxcub · 05/04/2007 22:41

I got DS1 a Dr Who easter egg in M&S It says "exterminate" in a Dalek voice

eidsvold · 05/04/2007 23:30

sorry to hear these babes are dragging their feet. I am sure dd2 would have been like that had I not had the c-section. As it was she was 10 days late even with the section and showing absolutely no signs at all of making an appearance.

Hope you all have a lovely easter.

DollyPopsOut · 06/04/2007 10:18

Hello to the remaining ladies! I am so sorry that your babies are taking too long to pitch up. You must have super comfortable wombs which they don't want to leave. I was induced with DD1 at 42 weeks and she wasn't ready, so I guess some of us just take longer to cook our babies.

Mossy - happy birthday for Wed. Sorry to have missed you earlier in the week. DD1 was 2 on Wed, and we celebrated by having a dose of the runs each so no computing possible. Can you text me your address to 07958 701168 so I can post you these bras - I am too jiggered to send emails etc. Thanks darling.

Kitty - I too have piles and they hurt like hell. Have you got a wee stool to rest your feet on when you poo? That helps me a lot. Other than that, keep on with the frozen peas and lactulose and have them zapped once Ronnie is here.

Puking aside, we are well and DD2 is gaining weight and is less yellow. I'll try to post properly soon.

love to all XXXXX

runningal · 06/04/2007 10:25

Morning and a very happy good friday to all,

No sign of an easter baby making an appearance here - not even a twinge.

2 of my neighbours have already bobbed around this morning to see if baby is here yet. I'm starting to feel almost apologetic about it, isn't it odd?

Good luck kitty and mossie - hope you have some good news for us all soon.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 06/04/2007 10:37

Still here

I'm trying to get hold of a midwife to come and give me another poke, no joy as yet.

No twinges at all at night.

Looks like I'll be beating my own record at this rate. I'm going to have a go on the ride on kower later today see if that does anything. Perhaps I should eat some whole chillis or something

Hope everyone else's ok
