Yet another new thread, because just like all the remaining posters the old one is about to go pop.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The posts yesterday suggesting Lunar was in labour weren't correct - she was out enjoying herself!

But this morning she woke up with backache at 5am so ran a bath. Fifteen minutes later was saying this is more than backache! Another fifteen minutes later she said "I can feel the head!!"

Baby was born at 6.10am, at home.

More soon!

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 08:40

Wow, that's fantastic, another speedy birth, many congrats mr lunar and lunar, I'm very .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MOSSY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!

foxcub · 04/04/2007 09:03

Happy brithday dear Mossie...and Lunar's baby...happy brithday to you!!!!

Wow - its all hotting up here again

huge congrats to lunar and MRLSG - any names yet?

Kitty - what's happening with your cervix now then???

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 09:37

Foxy, I don't know, I had some irregular cramping in the night, nothing to write home about.

I'm in a right old mood this morning.

My piles are so, so bad and they are pissing me off.

The fact this baby won't come out is pissing me off

It comes to something when you are that desperate that you send your mum's partner down the chemist to buy you anul suppositories.

There's no pride left

foxcub · 04/04/2007 10:02

Kitty - look on the bright side - at least you are not your Mum's partner!

Sounds as though things are starting to happen down below though. If the sweep doesn't bring on labour, will you have another on later today or tomorrow?

Seriously - I had my piles zapped after DD - worked a treat. Get that pushing over and you can get them zapped. I think I have one or two as well as have started to bleed when I poo (TMI I know )

Mossie · 04/04/2007 10:08

Morning ladies!!

Wow!!! Big congratulations to Lunar, that's one heck of a speedy baby!!! Thanks for telling us Mr Lunar!!

It's a great day to be born of course!!!!

Kitty I'm sorry your sweep didn't start things off. Do you think you'll have another one, or will you just decide to wait?

Thanks for the birthday wishes ladies, I'm out for dinner today and then have mil round, probably won't be on here much but it won't be 'cos I'm in labour, no worry of that!!!

muppethasakitten · 04/04/2007 10:15

Happy birthday mossie

Happy birthday lunar's baby

... seriously though, how do women just have a baby after a bit of backache and a bath???? Lunar - I'm very !

Kitty - so for you! Really thought you'd be off through the night... i just can't think that you'll go on much more now you've had the sweep - especially given what the mw told you about the old cervix... keeping all crossed for you... come on - it could be a hat trick of birthday's today! Maybe you'll break the habit of a lifetime and labour through the day today... nice and sunny for it!

Foxy - i agree about the piles ! Never had to get any frozen but I know someone else who did and swears by it!

Diva... good news really about the "woman" your dp was chatting to... although if you figure "she" was flirting with him your dp might be in for a

muppethasakitten · 04/04/2007 10:16

Wish us luck too - off to St Georges, tooting this arvo to check out Samuel's hernia... am hoping its popped away otherwise he'll have to have operation

runningal · 04/04/2007 10:29

Fabulous news - many congratulations to the Lunar family!! What a fantastic-sounding birth.

Many happy returns Mossie - hope you have a lovely day and get all the dr who dvds you want!

Don't let it get to you Kitty - you must be so close now to holding that beautiful baby in your arms.

Diva - glad it sounds like you've had some good news about dp. Hope you can chill out, put the worrying behind you and share some quality time together.

Labour vibes for today ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

runningal · 04/04/2007 10:32

cross post - hope things go well for samuel with his hospital appt this afternoon, Muppet.

Off to see the midwife shortly. Have a good day all.

Ronniebaby · 04/04/2007 10:44

Congrats to Lunarsea

LaidbackinEngland · 04/04/2007 11:17

Hooray to Lunar - sounds like you had a very similar experience to me ... hard and fast !!

Happy birthday to Mossie .... 30 today

Kitty - I am sure you can squeeze Ronnie out today as a tribute to Mossie !

Muppet - good luck at the hospital.

foxcub · 04/04/2007 11:31

Ronniebaby - is that you Kitty ?

Muppet - good luck this afternoon at the hossie [hugs to you and Samuel]

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 11:58

Oh I wish, I wish

I haven't got anymore sweeps planned. I said I'd go for some monitoring etc next week, if I get to 43 weeks. But by then I'll be asking to be put down.

Send me those vibes ladies, I feel like I need it today.

foxcub · 04/04/2007 12:06

Who is Ronnie baby then?

Kitty - I'm sure it won't come to that! It might still kick in from the sweep?

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 12:11

Foxy, I don't know who Ronniebaby is, good name though.

I guess things might kick in.

Tbh I should have known that it wouldn't work. Nothing seems to shift mine until they're ready to come. It's all the aches and pains I've got now, particularly the bloody piles that are getting me down.

I love a birth like Laidback and Lunar, how fab would that be

Hope Mossy's having a good nirthday

Still mother's coming to stay from this evening and look after us all. I know I gripe about her and there is stuff to gripe about but she does have her plus points

foxcub · 04/04/2007 12:14

Kitty - does your Mum cook for you when she's there?

You're so lucky to have her nearby and willing to help. Mine's willing but lives too far away.

Piles are really depressing - itchy, uncomfortable, sore etc. I remember them well from DD. Anusol was my middle name... - I used to find that whenever I got piles the front bit got all itchy too (I refuse to call it "front bum"!)

MrLSG · 04/04/2007 12:39

RB is one of the midlands mumsnet crowd who go out enjoying themselves regularly. Lunar makes it when she can.

Thanks to all for the good wishes. I know Lunar will be back posting here as soon as she can.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 12:58

Foxy, she does, which is great. Tonight we're having sausage, mash, gravy and veg, yum.

I keep pushing the piles back in, sorry, I know that's way tmi.

I wonder if Lunar's baby was as big as she was expecting.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 13:00

Oh, thanks for the info MrLSG

14 days over today

foxcub · 04/04/2007 13:09

send Lunar our love MRL

Kitty -

LaidbackinEngland · 04/04/2007 13:24

Kitty - sending birth vibes your way - Amos was 15 days over, so if you want a birth like me, I predict you will go into labout in the early hours of tomorrow morning, it will be quick and easy

Come on Ronnie !

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 04/04/2007 14:20

laidback keep gazing into that crystal ball

Ronniebaby · 04/04/2007 16:11

I am Ronniebaby

Who has been posting on MN for 5 years, Lunarsea, myself and a few other midlands mums all get together, usually once every 2 months, and occasionally more over the summer, where we meet up in the park for picnics or for BBQ's

I have been following Lunarsea's progress, as I know all about her previous ordeal.

I just wanted to post a congrats on here in case LS or MrLSG comes on, so she would know I was thinking of her.

foxcub · 04/04/2007 16:25

Hi Ronniebaby

I was getting confused as Kitty's forthcoming sprog is to be called Ronnie and when I saw your name I thought she's had the baby last night, nipped onto MN and changed her name....IYSWIM

ahem...
