Following on from the very lucky thread where we noticed the correlation between our HR and our bfps, I thought it would be nice to continue to stay in touch throughout our pregnancies!

Aw sorry @FairfaxAikman. Strange though as your chart looks really positive? Maybe worth trying again in a couple of days?

FairfaxAikman · 10/06/2017 22:02

My cycle is normally 30-32 days so will wait and see

dangle90 · 15/06/2017 21:18

ndo4000 · 15/06/2017 22:33

OMG!!!!!!! Congratulations @dangle90!!! How do you feel?!

OP posts:
dangle90 · 15/06/2017 22:43

Thanks ndo! We are both in shock! I was just so worried something wouldn't be right then to see 2 little beating hearts was so unreal!

ndo4000 · 15/06/2017 22:53

Do you have twins in the family?

OP posts:
dangle90 · 16/06/2017 07:51

My partners great grandad was a twin, and my dad has twin boys to another woman (not my mum) so I just assumed the twins were from her side never thought anything of it ShockGrin

ndo4000 · 16/06/2017 08:06

Wow! amazing news!!!!!

Tentativesteps133 · 17/06/2017 06:41

Omg dangle congrats! That's just amazing! Twinnies 😁😁

We had our 12 week yesterday, then had a lovely evening telling our nearest and dearest. It's crazy how much joy the news brings to so many people.

dangle90 · 17/06/2017 08:39

Thank you tentative!
Aww that's lovely!! So glad to hear your scan went well. I know I've told people now I've had the scan, everyone at work was so shocked and happy I felt like everyone was happy all day lol! And yesterday we travelled 5 hours in the car up to Scotland to tell my grandma, such a precious moment we videod her reaction it was so lovely!

Usernamegone · 25/06/2017 21:06

How is everyone and there Fitbit babies? I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow and I am soooo nervous! Is anyone managing to exercise? I'm still exercising but a lot less than I was before. I might scream if the midwife mentions swimming as a good idea again (I then normally run though what exercise I do already and they tell me it is fine to continue!)

dangle90 · 25/06/2017 21:46

Good luck tomorrow user. Bet you can't wait. Mine is weds! I haven't been exercising other than walking the dog woops!

ndo4000 · 25/06/2017 23:02

Oooh good luck @Usernamegone! Mine is on Friday!

@dangle90 how are you and the twins doing?

I've not really exercised since I had a scary bleed a couple of weeks ago. I have been cycling everyday to and from work, but I'm hoping to get back to the gym after my scan.....

OP posts:
dangle90 · 26/06/2017 09:31

How are things now ndo?
We are fine thank you, 12 week scan on weds so looking forward to that hoping I can relax a bit more after that

ndo4000 · 26/06/2017 15:46

Fingers crossed no more drama! I had a scan last weds and all looked fine. I still have a bleed next to the gestational sac, but they didn't seem unduly concerned.

Will just be so nice to start telling people! I'm desperate to start buying some clothes that fit me! Or at least wear clothes that aren't required to hide my growing bump!

Has your twin bump already appeared, @dangle90?

OP posts:
dangle90 · 26/06/2017 15:58

Glad to hear that ndo! Well I've deffo put on weight I wouldn't class it as a bump as of yet... but I have had to go and buy jeggins, looser tops! My work uniform is getting increasingly uncomfortable aswel! Are your clothes feeling snug then. I'm just preparing my Facebook announcement (sad but I can't help it 😂)

ndo4000 · 26/06/2017 16:06

Yes, I get to the end of the day and am so grateful to undo my top button!!!!

Can't remember if this is your first, @dangle90? This is my third, so the muscles aren't quite what they once were! SmileI'm sure people at work know something is up. I normally wear quite close fitting clothes and now I'm all floaty!!!

OP posts:
dangle90 · 26/06/2017 16:16

I wear fitted scrubs for work and there just so tight and uncomfortable at the moment, I've raided the store room for some old ones that are like pjs 😁! When will you tell work?
Yeah these will be my first

ndo4000 · 26/06/2017 16:25

I work at a school, so I definitely have to tell them before the end of term!

If all goes well with the scan on Friday and the results of my safe test come through ok, we plan to tell my dcs this weekend. Once they know, the secret will be out!

OP posts:
dangle90 · 26/06/2017 17:01

Awww are you excited to tell them?

ndo4000 · 26/06/2017 17:35

Bit nervous, if I'm honest!!! Such a big gap between them! (My youngest is 7!).

OP posts:
dangle90 · 26/06/2017 18:51

Oh really!! Aww I'm sure they'l be thrilled!

1234512345Meh · 10/07/2017 21:28

Hello all, I posted on the initial thread
Congratulations to you all, it's lovely to see some scans. Especially twins dangle!

I got my bfp last week and am around 5+4... my HR has gone up loads. I'm glad I read about it's likelihood of going down so I don't panic if/when it does!

Anything else I should expect? Apart from sore boobs and a bit of nausea if I've not eaten for a while I'm ok so far.

Usernamegone · 13/07/2017 22:10

@1234512345Meh mine went down to normal at about 8 weeks (I think) so don't panic if it does. I'm now 14+5 and just done my final bootcamp session. Makes me feel sad after 5 years but know I need to stop as it is quite intensive and lots of cardio, jumping, exercises on my back so I'm restricted in what I can do. Don't feel ready for yoga or swimming yet but want to keep active.

ShonaghMacD85 · 16/09/2017 08:12

Does this look normal? Was bmp 65 resting and now dropped to bmp 62
