Following on from the very lucky thread where we noticed the correlation between our HR and our bfps, I thought it would be nice to continue to stay in touch throughout our pregnancies!

How are all the Fitbit babies doing this week?

I had my first craving this week - hot cross buns! Only thing I could stomach on Friday!

Annoyingly one of dds has picked up worms this week Shock. Found out that you can't take Ovex if you're pg. have treated everyone else and have been washing like a crazed woman all weekend. After much googling I found there is a homeopathic remedy called Cina. Have ordered some online but still not 100% sure it's safe for use in pregnancy..... anyone got any homeopathy knowledge?!

Hey ndo! I'm on holiday in Croatia now, still finding that when I'm hungry I start feeling really sick, so trying to have something at hand all the time. The minus to this are my holiday clothes look dreadful on, I know I'm only 7 weeks so too early to be showing but I must be bloated my tummy feels huge!
Aww no that's a bummer about the worms! Sorry I have no knowledge about that... doesn't Dr google know?

ndo4000 · 22/05/2017 18:04

Can only find differing views @dangle90! Some say it's fine, others say 'speak to health professional first'!

So, just looked at my HR and its come down a lot. I wonder if I should be worried....

@ndo4000 mine seems to be on a downward slope too so wouldn't be too worried. I guess there may be times when your body is working harder than others during the first few weeks?

Ah, that makes me feel slightly better. I am still feel nauseous in the morning and am bursting out of my bra so definitely symptoms there. So hard to not know. My scan is 21st june. AGES!!!!!

OP posts:
purplechoc · 22/05/2017 18:37

I've got the boobs bit but not really any nausea which had me worried because I was expecting to feel awful as it seems to run in the family! I'm only 5+4 and have to wait till 6 weeks to book in so no idea of my 12 week scan yet. I'm sure it will be here before you know it though. Days seem to be going a bit quicker than the first 2 weeks of knowing!

ndo4000 · 22/05/2017 21:21

I hope you're right. Am now googling like a woman possessed.

I have booked an early 10 wk scan and having some extra bloods done. Not heard anything from the local maternity unit since I sent in my referral form.

Well fingers crossed it isn't anything to worry about. Keep telling myself there isn't anything I can do anyway so worrying isn't going to help.....

Mine's been dropping too which has been worrying me. I'm 7+1. Glad to hear it's not just me. Hopefully not a bad sign. Have a scan on Wednesday but struggling to wait 48 hours to find out if everything is ok!

ndo4000 · 22/05/2017 22:06

@ifeellikechickentonight that makes me feel better! Sounds like maybe it is more normal than we knew!

Fingers crossed for your scan - let us know how it goes?

In the meantime let's sit tight and get some more days/weeks behind us!!!!

OP posts:
Tentativesteps133 · 23/05/2017 08:38

Yeah mine peaked at about 5 weeks at 65 and has slowly come back down to 58 over the last 3 weeks. It sounds like it's normal then?

Good luck with your scan chicken, I found mine very reassuring. I have my NHS one this Friday but I'll only be 9 weeks so expecting to have another one a few weeks later to do the nuchal test/accurate dating.

ndo4000 · 23/05/2017 14:03

That's definitely a few of us then! Phew!

Am very teary today. Not sure if it's because of the news today or just tired of fighting off nausea.

Also struggling with what to wear. Am sure I look pg just because of my HUGE boobs..... bit of retail therapy this weekend methinks....

OP posts:
ifeellikechickentonight · 24/05/2017 14:35

My boobs are bigger but my massive tummy is whats giving me away! 🙈

dangle90 · 24/05/2017 14:59

Ndo I was teary yesterday too, I'm not one to cry but yesterday was a terrible day :(!
I'm so bloated boobs are massive and I've had bad indigestion today, far too early for this! Anyone got any remedies? Baring in mind I'm abroad so no gaviscon ect

ndo4000 · 24/05/2017 15:56

Today I feel full of beans! Not sure if that's a good or bad sign?!?! Confused

@dangle Peppermint tea is good for bloating?

dangle90 · 24/05/2017 16:29

I went to the pharmacy.... £18 later ShockHmm if this doesn't work now Envy

Emma2803 · 26/05/2017 14:00

Hi ladies! Glad I found this thread! Slightly worried as my hr has seemed a little lower this past week (62/63 instead of 65/66) but reassuring that others seem to be having it too.
I'm 8+3 today, have been exhausted and feel queasy when hungry, I was sick once too! Never had anything with ds.

Also I am feeling super unfit like I get quite breathless on exertion e.g walking up hill, even a not very steep one. I was never majorly fit beforehand but can definitely notice the difference. Anyone else having this?

ndo4000 · 26/05/2017 17:06

Hi @Emma2803! Mine seems to have settled at about 58/59 having been up at 64 a couple of weeks ago! I am pretty breathless sometimes too (although less so now that HR has come down a bit).

I guess remember that at term, a woman has an extra 50% blood. We are bound to be feeling to start of that!!

I've have times of feeling sick. Not actually been sick yet though.

Main symptom is enormous bosoms!!!! And feels a bit bloated. Was trying to describe it to DH this morning that I feel a bit uncomfortable in my own skin and i can't even talk to people about why I have become a grumpy recluse!

It'll be sooooo much easier after 12 weeks when I can make the great reveal and buy some big baggy clothes!!!

How are the Fitbit babies today? X

Hi ladies. I'm okay how is everyone else? Has anyone else got any of these pregnancy apps I have the Ovia one I love reading about it everyday lol today I'm 8 weeks and the baby is the size of a wild strawberry 😂

ndo4000 · 29/05/2017 12:06

I have that one too @dangle90! Am 7 wks and bubs is the size of a micro chameleon! Another good one is sprout - there is a cool 3D thing to look at the baby!

OP posts:
dangle90 · 29/05/2017 13:54

I have pregnancy+ too which has that. I'm not obsessed at all 😂 I saw the chameleon it was so cute lol

ndo4000 · 29/05/2017 18:09

There are some many out there!!!!

How are you feeling @dangle90? I am shattered today and currently sitting like a beached whale on the sofa with a bag of Doritos and salsa. Yum.

Also went to buy some scaffolding for my massive wammas today. Couldn't face going for maternity bras - not a fan of the 'uni-boob'! Has made a huge difference! DH is impressed with my 32Es Wink

Have got my booking in appt on Friday which is exciting!! Any of you had yours already?

OP posts:
dangle90 · 29/05/2017 19:08

Today I've felt a bit sickly on and off... I wouldn't say I get hungry now but I have to eat to take the sickly feeling off if you get me?
Haha Doritos and salsa sounds good!!
Bet your OH is loving that 😂, mine are already 36F so I'm already dreading what there going to be like! I'm also not a fan of the monoboob 😂!
I had my booking in appt the other week, they were very on the ball with that!

ndo4000 · 29/05/2017 21:39

Wow!!! 36F!!! Grin you beat me!

OP posts:
dangle90 · 30/05/2017 07:50

I'd swap them any day if I could! 😂 so sat in bed eating ginger biscuits this morning. If I could put into words how I feel it would be that I feel like a slug that has been on a roundabout 😂
