Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Let us know how it goes Mary! Grin I think it's normal to be nervous, it's such a life changing moment!

Tootsy how're you doing this morning?

I think I need to move. I woke up with the most insane craving for ANYTHING from Five Guys. Then realised the nearest one was a two hour drive away 😂 Why am I so far away from everything I'm craving!? This is forcing me to have a healthy diet! It's not fair!

TootsyBella84 · 01/05/2017 10:44

Thanks ladies. I only had a tiny bit of brown spotting this morning and am feeling uber sick 🤢
I know it can mean nothing but going from past experience the outcome is never good so my head is just crazy. I plan on doing absolutely nothing today! My scan tomorrow is at 9.15 so at least I won't have too much waiting around for answers.

I'm craving fried rice, chips and curry sauce! Where can I get this at the back of 10 in the morning?! 😂

Zaberwocky · 01/05/2017 10:57

Tootsy I think that you're still feeling sick and aren't in pain is a REALLY good thing.

There's an ultra dodgy Chinese food van down the road from me 😂They're open now if you really want to risk it!

Zaberwocky · 01/05/2017 10:59

Ah fuck it.

I'm obviously demanding DH drive there with me as soon as my mum and auntie have gone home. I'm literally salivating Grin and the burger will come with a nice brown bag to puke in on the way home!

Carley27 · 01/05/2017 11:05

Glad to hear there's not much spotting today tootsy, and as zaber says it's a good sign that you're still feeling sick and not in pain. Hope today goes quickly for you 🌸

TipTop333 · 01/05/2017 11:06

I didn't realise how long I hadn't posted for but the thread disappeared from my list so must have been a very long time!
I've been lurking and following everyone this past week though - tootsy I have everything crossed for you. And welcome to newcomers! Fingers crossed for a happy healthy pregnancy for everyone.

As for me, I'm doing okay. I vom once a day around 7pm and can't work out if it's psychological. It's like clockwork! I'm also feeling ridiculously paranoid around some other waning symptoms. 9 weeks today or tomorrow so getting near the end but starting to worry about the 12 week scan. I just want reassurance but not sure if I can justify a second early scan!

I've said this before - I am not normally a stressy person, pregnancy does weird things to me.

BeeMama2017 · 01/05/2017 11:27

Got everything crossed for you @tootsy, it must be scary but don't worry yourself jumping to conclusions until you've had the scan. Will be thinking about you all day and sending positive bean vibes your way!

I've been totally wiped out with nausea and the poops all weekend thanks to thinking it was a good idea to go to a gig on Saturday night. I had to leave church yesterday morning to puke outside! Argh!

Trying to get the energy together to do the washing and clean the bathroom but at the moment I'm under a duvet watching say yes to the dress drinking ginger tea Confused

I have some serious respect for all you ladies with children already! you deserve medals for feeling like this and managing to function for your children!

MontyPants · 01/05/2017 11:32

Haha Zabe I will be seriously impressed if you do drive to five guys! I just want Nando's today, but thinking it will be super busy on the bank holiday...

In other news, I'm 9 weeks today! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Slowly getting there

MaryShelley1818 · 01/05/2017 11:36

All perfect...we have a teeny tiny baby with a heartbeat ❤️ Measuring 6+5 instead of 7+2 though which I really don't think is right but heartbeat was really strong!

Zaberwocky · 01/05/2017 11:37

Monty I very much feel like my life cannot go on until I have one. The drive WILL be happening. I just need a vaguely plausible other reason to drive that far Grin maybe Ikea ...

Zaberwocky · 01/05/2017 11:39

Oh Mary Smile !

Hopefully you're a bit calmer now. It's happended to a couple of us on here, Japan is a fab example of this, where we've been so certain of dates but it's clearly just implanted later than we thought.

It's still really good news though Smile

Carley27 · 01/05/2017 12:10

Aww bless bee, hope you start feeling better soon. A duvet day sounds like just what you need 🙂

Happy 9 weeks monty!

Mary that's lovely news, bet hearing the heartbeat was amazing 😍

6+2 here, boobs getting more tender but otherwise symptomless still (well other than having no spotting whatsoever, I have endometriosis and usually get random spotting a lot 🙄 so it's a very welcome symptom!)

BirdBrain85 · 01/05/2017 12:29

So pleased for you Mary!

Tootsy Keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow.

My favourite foods right now are rice krispies and marmite on toast, mmm. But a Nando's sounds REALLY good too.

TootsyBella84 · 01/05/2017 13:33

I've been sick more times than usual today, I'm hoping this cheers me up!!

I'm so pleased your scan went well Mary

leighdinglady · 01/05/2017 14:30

I'm having a little panic.

It's probably faaar too much information, but here goes;

I just went to the loo for a wee and noticed lots of white discharge in my knickers. There was also a lump of what can only be described and sticky snot. Still clear coloured, but so thick I could peel it off (yuck yuk yuck) Naturally i'm not convinced something isn't right

BirdBrain85 · 01/05/2017 14:51

Leigh I think that's okay - I've read that having increased discharge is normal. Have had some similar myself too.

Just had a really weird turn where I felt really ill, bit of a headache, heart felt like it was pounding and my arms / legs felt all shaky. I don't know if it's dehydration or low blood sugar (although I feel like I've eaten a fair bit today). Anyway I had some water and a Mr Kipling cake (haha) and I feel a lot better Confused hmm!

leighdinglady · 01/05/2017 14:55

Thanks bird. It's just so grim. I've felt really awful today too. My symptoms, which were none existent until about 4 days ago seen to be getting worse each day. (I'm now 6.4). Today's been the worst day. Far worse than my last pregnancy (which ended badly, so hopefully this is a good sign Confused)

I also have 'funny turns' where I feel faint, hot, nauseous, heart pounding. I can even go deaf and blind as the blood runs from my head. For me its low blood pressure. It's always been low, but pregnancy knocks me down to around 90/50 (It should be around 120/60.

Foxglove88 · 01/05/2017 15:07

tootsy Hang in there!! Lots of people have spoken about spotting. I have my fingers crossed for you. Let us know how it goes.

gadget what a fantastic photo!! How adorable! It's so clear. I had my scan at 8 weeks 5 days last week and it looked like a walnut!

December 2017 #3 - Beware! There is much talk about food on this thread!
Foxglove88 · 01/05/2017 15:25

Oh! The reason I came on here was to reassure all the women I scared with my 9 week exorcist-style vomiting yesterday. It lasted until around 11am and I've been fine since. Over 28 hours vomit-free. I hope it was a fluke!

Carlotta82248 · 01/05/2017 15:51

I've had to come home from work with my toothache Sad think I'm going to have to have it extracted tomorrow, this worries me so much. Has anyone ever had dental work in pregnancy? All appears to state it's ok, but it's still scary, I can't carry on like this though. I've just snored my way through escape to the country with a hot water bottle slapped on my cheek. DP is at home (he's a teacher so gets the BHs) don't think he knows what to do with me haha x

Carley27 · 01/05/2017 15:56

Your walnut looks lovely fox ☺️ hope the vomiting stays away!

Oh no Carlotta, but bet you will be relieved to get rid of it. This is my first so not a situation I've been in but would imagine it's safer to have it removed than end up with an infection x

TootsyBella84 · 01/05/2017 16:00

Oh Carlotta I feel your pain, toothache is one of the worst feelings. I had my wisdom tooth extracted at around 20 weeks with my youngest and it was all okay. Hope you can get sorted.

DiveItLikeYouStoleIt · 01/05/2017 17:05

Sorry to hear about your toothache @carlotta it's the worst, I remember waking up crying from pain when I had an abscess when my wisdom teeth were coming through and painkillers don't touch it.
I'd imagine the dentist would tell you if there's any risk with you being pregnant. Think they have to!
Good luck with it. Hope you get it sorted.

DiveItLikeYouStoleIt · 01/05/2017 17:08

Just to check too, mild cramping is normal and ok right? Didn't really have any in previous pregnancies but I have that feeling low grade knotted tightness down in my uterus area... it's not really going away.

GadgetgirlUk · 01/05/2017 17:16

@Fox, it's so cute, looks like a teddy bear rather than a walnut 😀

@Carlotta, hope your tooth feels better, mouth pain is just the worst xx

@Diveit I've had crampy period pain right the way through, doctor said it was normal and was due to womb growing xx
