Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Tootsy, i know exactly how you feel. Don't give up yet. I'm pretty sure I'm still pregnant - despite pink spotting on and off all pregnancy. It has stopped again having been quite profuse this morning. I have all the symptoms - as do you, right? Try and get seen by the epu tomorrow. Hand hold here and lots of empathy, it's shit.

Carlotta82248 · 30/04/2017 21:45

@TootsyBella84 FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers thinking of you and keeping everything tightly crossed x

BirdBrain85 · 30/04/2017 21:46

Has anyone else got a huge belly already? According to my tape measure it's already 4" bigger Shock. May not sound much but I was only small before so it looks so different to me. Would be nice if I knew it was baby, but obviously baby is the size of a raspberry so LOL. I just feel fat! Blush

GadgetgirlUk · 30/04/2017 22:01

So here's one of the scans, if you look carefully you can see a little arm 😀

MotherofUnicorns · 30/04/2017 22:29

oh wow that's amazing! how many weeks is that? Mine looks like a blob at 6w6d!

MotherofUnicorns · 30/04/2017 22:29

now obvs going to take a photo of it on my phone and zoom in though!!

BirdBrain85 · 30/04/2017 22:48

That's an amazing picture gadget! Like baby is waving at you Smile

MontyPants · 30/04/2017 23:23

Oh Tootsy I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hang in there and hopefully you'll have some answers at the EPU Flowers xx

MaryShelley1818 · 01/05/2017 06:04

Scan Day today and I'm absolutely terrified! I've been up on and off since 3ish with nightmares, heart is pounding and tummy churning. This anxiety is terrible. 😞

Mumoftheark · 01/05/2017 08:03

@Mrsbluebell17 it's definitely exciting. We lost a twin at 10 weeks it's horrible so I understand them not telling people early. However MC is also common. Everyone knows it's a possibility at the back of their minds but we try not to focus on it. Your pregnancy is the same.
Get excited why the hell not!
I'm praying I'm pregnant with twins again this time although I just don't feel that I am, & last time I just knew from day 1.
What is your gut telling you?
I can't wait to hear

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 01/05/2017 08:14

Good morning from Prague 👋🏼

December 2017 #3 - Beware! There is much talk about food on this thread!
Mrsbluebell17 · 01/05/2017 08:18

Mumoftheark my gut is that it's definitely twins at the moment, both DH and I could see what the sonographer was looking at with the two heartbeats and measurements even though there wasn't two obvious babies yet due to being so early. The fact that one is measuring slightly behind makes me wonder if one won't make it. So I'm not sure. Either way, DH and I are really exited at the prospect of twins and will be very grateful and happy if even just one makes it through as it's a blessing either way.

Thanks for your lovely message.

Just on way to airport for my US trip. DH is driving me Grin

Mrsbluebell17 · 01/05/2017 08:18

Morning dancing. I love Prague although haven't been for years. Enjoy!

Oysterbabe · 01/05/2017 08:26

Good luck mary I hope you enjoy it and it helps the anxiety.

MaryShelley1818 · 01/05/2017 08:26

Reached full on panic attack now...can't stop shaking!
Was anyone else this bad going for their early scans? Or can tell me what to expect? Will it be internal...is their any risk with that?

MaryShelley1818 · 01/05/2017 08:27

Thank you Oysterbabe xx

Carley27 · 01/05/2017 08:33

Gadget your scan pic is amazing 😍

Good luck for the scan MaryShelley x

Ooh looks lovely CantHelp - have a great holiday!

Thank god my skin seems to be improving now - someone tell me the pregnancy 'glow' isn't far away?! 🙏😂

LapinR0se · 01/05/2017 08:41

Yes I always shook and sweated before my scans. Just breathe and try to distract yourself xx

TootsyBella84 · 01/05/2017 08:46

I've called EPU and because it's only minor spotting they are just wanting to leave me until tomorrow morning. Blah it's going to be a long day.

Good luck today Mary

Oysterbabe · 01/05/2017 08:57

I think whether it's internal varies place to place. It depends whether they are able to get a good enough image externally. How far along are you? You'll be fine.
What time is the scan?

leighdinglady · 01/05/2017 09:02

Make sure you go with a full bladder. It pushes everything up for the camera to see. Avoids an internal

Oysterbabe · 01/05/2017 09:21

Our toddler was having some cuddles in bed with us this morning and DH was saying he feels guilty about having another baby, funny how I was saying the same thing the other day. DD gets just constant attention from both of us at the moment and it's going to be a big shock. She'll always be our PFB even when she's not the baby 😢

Carley27 · 01/05/2017 09:31

Oh tootsy take it easy today and I really hope tomorrow goes well 🌸

Oyster I'm sure most people will have thoughts like that with DC2. I bet your DD will love having a sibling though, especially when they're old enough to boss around/play with ☺️ my DB wanted to leave me at the hospital when I was born but thankfully he came round to the idea and we got on very well (and still do!)

60percentbanana · 01/05/2017 09:38

Oyster my husband says the same (and this will be our fifth child ☺️). Not because of a lack of resources or time or love, just because he thinks the attention will inevitably be spread a little thinner. Personally I don't think it works like that, your child will be losing a little of your attention but will be gaining a sibling, someone who is on their level, someone to play with, conspire with, bicker with...

I grew up in a bigger family and there wasn't a whole lot of parental attention for all sorts of other reasons but my siblings were always there to talk to, so I never lacked attention or company. It's different to being an only child but it isn't less x

GadgetgirlUk · 01/05/2017 09:39

Good luck @Mary! It's an amazing experience!

Thanks everyone for lovely scan comments, am 9w so it's amazing to see so much. Could see him moving, it was amazing.

@Tootsy, hope you manage to take it easy today xxx
