Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

So you're onto 3rd baby too @tootsy? I have 2 crazy boys! How about you? Are you a bit scared about the amount of washing your gonna have? I already feel like a laundrette... think I might just have to give up on showering too! It's hard enough now with just the 2.
We're in fife now so my Dundonian DS will be outnumbered by his fifer siblings Smile

TootsyBella84 · 30/04/2017 16:41

I don't seem to have had any more spotting but I'm now stuck in the car for another 3+ hours so will see how things are once I'm home. I haven't called EPU with being away. I also think they are shut over the weekend and the calls divert to the labour ward.
We've actually been in Fife for the weekend visiting family! Can't wait to get home to my own bed, it's been hard hiding my morning puking 🤢
DiveIt we've got a boy and girl so number 3 will be a tie breaker. I'm now at the point where I'm thinking 'ah, what's one more' 😂 but I also couldn't live without my tumble dryer!

MummyHenman2be · 30/04/2017 16:46

Hello everyone,

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend and those of you experiencing vomiting/spotting feel better soon!

We went for our early reassurance scan today and it was just perfect! Measuring at 7 weeks and 3 days (rather than 7 weeks exactly) so just as I thought!

The midwife said that she could see the yolk sack which was great and she could see the placenta developing. The baby's heart rate was 121bpm which she said was perfect and normal.

We are over the moon that, at this moment, everything is well :) My parents bought us a lovely frame to put the picture in.

I have updated my due date on the spreadsheet if someone could move me up to be with the 14th girls that would be fab!

Mrsbluebell17 · 30/04/2017 16:59

Zaber thanks for that, you're a star. I'll take a look.

Henman that's great news. We are currently due on the same day now but depends what my twin news is in a couple of weeks.

DH and I have spent nearly all day talking about 'what if it's twins' about things like cots and space etc. Exciting.

GadgetgirlUk · 30/04/2017 17:58

Congrats @mummyhenman!!
@Bluebell, Am sure the flight will be fine, just snuggle in your seat and make them
Bring you lots of ginger ale xx

MotherofUnicorns · 30/04/2017 17:59

HI everyone can i join please?
I haven't read all of the 3 threads - can't believe how quickly it has been moving!!
My stats are:
38
due 17th dec with #3. i have two DD 4 and 6.
I had an early scan yesterday which put me at 7weeks exactly today.
They said there was blood in my uterus and a bit of fluid around it though so i am a bit anxious. Heart rate was 120 which was great so i think i just need to focus on that.
My 12weel scan is 2nd June so i might book another early on ein before then.
Symptoms - bit of nausea, first thing before breakfast and then in the eve. I am craving carbs and just want to eat little and often. My boobs (already a G(!) have swollen but i really dont want them to get bigger!!)

Hi to all the names i recognise from the TTC threads as well - its great to chat on this forum!

Totally exhausted and just want to go to sleep all the time at the moment. Thank god for the bank holiday!!

Itsjustaphase84 · 30/04/2017 18:06

Love hearing how people have to be stealthy. Luckily no night outs planned apart from with my DH next wk.

My nausea is so random this 2nd time round. Anytime of day. With ds it was 3pm bang on and got worse.

Had horrible womb period type pain last night. I have it every few days. I always think it's baby growing but the pain knocks me sick. I remember it with ds1. Feels like my womb is stretching.

Hats of to bluebell for travelling to USA. I assume your going from the UK. I can barely be bothered with 20min train journey to work.

So far I've got away with telling no one. It's such a hard secret to keep isn't it?

5+6 today. EDD 25/12 😁

looby1304 · 30/04/2017 18:18

All good in the scan today, confirmed me as 8w4d, one day less than where I thought I was. Heartbeat 174 and definitely only one!

Mrsbluebell17 · 30/04/2017 18:20

Itsjustaphase yeah, going from the U.K. To the USA for work for the week. Should be good when I'm there but I'm an anxious person anyway so feeling a little worried about it all.

Looby that's great news re your scan Grin

60percentbanana · 30/04/2017 18:34

I'm loving all the scan pics that have started to pop up. It's amazing to think that those little blueberry sized prawns are going to be completely recognisable as babies in 4-5 weeks time at the 12 week scan!

I've had a clothing disaster. I was lurking and laughing at you all at the start of the week as some of you were bursting out of your clothes. Mine fit just fine. However on Wednesday things were feeling tight, and on Friday I spent the day in my loosest jeans with the button undone 😳. Today I bought maternity jeans. Oh dear. How did that happen so suddenly?! I've lost 7.1lb in the last two months, and gained about two inches round the waist (and a cup size!).

To make matters worse we haven't told our other children and hadn't planned to until the scan but I look quite big. I'm sure they are eyeing me up now.

MotherofUnicorns · 30/04/2017 18:54

i'm glad it's not just me with the clothes. I went out last night with friends (who i had to tell as we were at a sushi restaurant of all places!) and i literally couldn't fit into anything.
I was meant to go spinning today but couldn't face it.....
Luckily nothing else dressy for a while - just have to cope with work clothes. I wear pretty loose stuff anyway so i am hoping it won't be too obvious for a while......

TootsyBella84 · 30/04/2017 19:26

I'm home and it's turning pink. I'm pretty certain I'm out. I don't know how to do this again 😢

Carley27 · 30/04/2017 19:38

Looby excellent news about your scan!

Congrats unicorns! Hope you can get plenty of rest and relax a bit 🌸

Bluebell what exciting news, can't believe you have potential twins!

Aww how lovely mummyhenman, glad your scan went well ☺️

Good to hear spotting seems to have stopped tootsy!

Marie love your sneaky non-alcoholic tricks 😁 I've had a couple of similar situations recently. We had a family celebration at which DH had to neck my champagne (which kept getting topped up!) when nobody was watching. He ended up rather tiddly! I Went with shloer in a wine glass this weekend which seemed to work!

As long as the cramping is mild it's probably ok Carlotta, but if you're worried it's worth speaking to your midwife for peace of mind. Are you feeling any better now?

SamiZayn · 30/04/2017 19:38

Oh tootsy. Will epu see you tomorrow?

SamiZayn · 30/04/2017 19:39

Sending hugs x

Carley27 · 30/04/2017 19:40

Sorry cross posted tootsy. Can you get to an EPU? So sorry to hear this but really hope it's now what you think 🌸💐

Oysterbabe · 30/04/2017 19:40

Crossing my fingers for your little bean tootsy, I hope you're ok Flowers

Carley27 · 30/04/2017 19:41

*not what you think

DiveItLikeYouStoleIt · 30/04/2017 19:42

@tootsy did someone not mention earlier they had pink spotting and they were told it was ok? Don't give up hope. Get an appointment tomorrow and see what they say. I really hope all is fine.

MummyHenman2be · 30/04/2017 19:44

Thinking about you @TootsyBella84 and keeping everything crossed ❤️

BirdBrain85 · 30/04/2017 19:49

Thinking of you tootsy really hope it's nothing serious and little one is okay xx

GadgetgirlUk · 30/04/2017 19:56

Congrats on scan @Looby x
@Tootsy, hang in there, have you got your appointment at EPU tomorrow?

Je11yBe4n · 30/04/2017 20:11

Zaberwocky my previous pregnancy I moved from York (student accommodation) to our new house in Aberdeen (my hubby works up there) at 38 weeks.
I knew no one but my husband.
6 hours drive to closest family.
There was no judgement, just lots of support!

Je11yBe4n · 30/04/2017 20:25

Just leaving a quick update here, my midwife called on Saturday 6pm (random time to be having a conversation especially over a bank holiday weekend).
Booking in has been arranged for Mid May and she thinks my scan will be early-mid June.
She's added a bit to my scan request form to try and get me an early reassurance scan as my risk of ectopic is higher ( I had a large cyst removed 20 weeks into my previous pregnancy) due to scar tissue in my Fallopian tube.
I've been utterly exhausted by 1pm so have been encouraging my 4 yo into an afternoon nap - luckily he doesn't mind!
Still a lack of nausea but my appetite is returning and I seem to be ferociously hungry or so full I want to cry!
I'm still managing to run, I am concerned I may not have the energy for the half marathon, I'll be 11 weeks by then.
I seem to better focussed on my work though (work at home running a bunting business).
I have a strong urge to start making tiny baby clothes... I'm sure I'll give in soon :)
Stats for the spread sheet if anyone wants them: 33, married, ds, live in the High Peak (on the border between Cheshire East and Derbyshire).
