Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Ah ok thanks lamb.
I know DH history. He is fairly robust with a few allergies. No genetic things on his side as far as we know. I can always find out more if I need to.

looby1304 · 30/04/2017 08:36

I'm 8w5d bluebell so I'm hoping the scan will definitely show something. I'm trying not to get too excited though just in case it's not good news

Mrsbluebell17 · 30/04/2017 08:38

Looby I know that feeling from yesterday. I have not been that nervous for a long time!

Oysterbabe · 30/04/2017 08:39

You don't need to know about MIL's births Miami only history of stuff like heart disease on DH's side.
Welcome, I hope your bean is a sticky one.

JustAnotherYellowBelly · 30/04/2017 08:53

looby I'm the same. I go between so so nauseous and ravenous. I haven't thrown up yet and really don't want to!
I seem to feel sick from waking up until about 3ish then I need food. Not helpful when I'm at work...

Oysterbabe · 30/04/2017 08:58

See I feel much worse in the evenings, generally not to bad until about 5pm then I feel really nauseaus. Still no actual sick.

Foxglove88 · 30/04/2017 09:02

Looby and Yellow, another one here with nausea. Up until now I had to snack regularly to stave off the sickness. I've taken a bit of a turn the past couple of days. I was up for a few hours in the middle of the night, running back and forth to the bathroom to be sick. It's unbearable. I've only been up a couple of hours and I've been sick five times Sad Some forums are saying things get worse after nine weeks, before the placenta takes over.
Anyone else finding they're getting worse? I honestly don't know how much longer I can feel this rough Sad

leighdinglady · 30/04/2017 09:03

I've started feeling nauseous this week (week 6) It's more of an 'urgh' feeling. I don't think I'll actually be sick, I just feel nauseous until I eat. I'm going to gain weight if I keep eating each time I feel it though

leighdinglady · 30/04/2017 09:04

How far along are you fox? Do I have that to look forward to Confused

DiveItLikeYouStoleIt · 30/04/2017 09:07

@biginjapan is it that price always? That's not too bad and I could probably convince DH that it's not too much. I know they can't tell sex that early but does anyone know how early hey can tell? If you went for a scan after 12 weeks but before 20 could they tell?
@Miami81 I'm sure the history is just relevant stuff too, like any mental health issues or heart disease or other major things. Nitty gritty of MiL's health not needed.
Sorry you're so ill @looby1304 I am not at the I want to vomit to feel better stage but I had that lots with y other pregnancies. This time I just want to eat in the hope it will make me feel better.

Foxglove88 · 30/04/2017 09:09

9 weeks 2 days, Leigh I still need to get on the laptop and add my details on here. I can't keep anything down, so I'm hoping it won't last long. I don't remember ever being sick this much, just wondering if it's something I should be concerned about. Google isn't helping, with some people saying this lasted until week 15 for them Shock

Chamonix1 · 30/04/2017 09:09

Fox
I'll be 9 weeks Monday and I've only been sick once.
I feel nauseous on and off all day then 4pm hits and I feel boiling and sick and can't eat anything.
Last couple of days the evenings have been a tiny bit easier. Maybe it's the calm before the storm.
I really feel for you have you tried the travel bands?
I feel like I'm constantly coming down with a sickness bug, that beginning bit before you first throw up.

biginjapan · 30/04/2017 09:10

Diveit, it says it's a special half price offer, but I don't know. I think that is only the price for a viability scan.

Carlotta82248 · 30/04/2017 09:27

Sending love to all of you sickly ones, your bodies are obviously putting so much work into cooking your beans! I'm not sickly, and even with my troublesome tooth am still managing to scoff like a right fatty! Really must stop! My BMI is borderline and I really should be working harder than I am on keeping it down, looked hideously fat at the wedding yesterday Sad

Carlotta82248 · 30/04/2017 09:28

@DiveItLikeYouStoleIt you can have gender scans from 16 weeks x

looby1304 · 30/04/2017 09:29

I've been worse in the mornings up until about 2pm this week, which isn't ideal being at work
fox please don't say it gets worse at 9 weeks, I was hoping it would disappear soon!

Foxglove88 · 30/04/2017 09:37

Poor DH is currently eating breakfast outside Grin bless him. The smell of my dog eating food on the other side of the house set me off this morning. My total for this morning is at 7 now!
looby I know... I was surprised when it got worse! I think everyone is different. I had to really search for people saying it got worse.

Foxglove88 · 30/04/2017 09:41

Thanks carlotta Smile before this episode I was having to scoff crisps and biscuits to stop me from feeling nauseous. I wondered how much weight I would end up putting on. I'm guessing I will go back to that as soon as this sickness phase is overGrin

TootsyBella84 · 30/04/2017 10:09

Hey ladies, hope you're all well.
I have brown spotting this morning, actually feel so sick Sad

Zaberwocky · 30/04/2017 10:20

Tootsy brown is good. Without wanting to interrogate you, have you done anything that could irritate your cervix? Are you in any pain at all?

Zaberwocky · 30/04/2017 10:22

I am delighted whilst incredibly annoyed GrinAngry BIL has gotten engaged! And they want to have the wedding this December.

Fingers crossed the baby is early 😂 Or I'll be shopping for a proper whale dress.

TootsyBella84 · 30/04/2017 10:26

I know they say brown is good but I discovered my first mmc due to brown spotting Sad
Haven't done anything that could irritate. No pain or anything but I didn't previously either. Argh I just feel so uneasy.
I'm booked for my scan at EPU on Tuesday so not sure if it's worth phoning or if they will see me tomorrow instead. Ffs Sad

leighdinglady · 30/04/2017 10:27

Try not to panic tootsy. Brown is usually ok I think. Old blood left over from implantation?

TootsyBella84 · 30/04/2017 10:32

7+1 today, not sure if it could be linked to implantation? I feel so sick. I guess it's just a waiting game Sad

Carlotta82248 · 30/04/2017 10:42

Oh @TootsyBella84 sending you love, fingers crossed for you and will be hoping all is well for you, I'm sure it is but understand the anxiety, you're in my thoughts xx
