Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Good luck with the scan bluebell. And enjoy buying some baby stuff!
@Mumoftheark , how are you feeling about having 3? I'm slightly terrified, have 2 boys already so assuming it's probably another boy because that's what we make and I'm just imagining the smell of my house when they are all teens 🤢
Find it hilarious your husband made the moves on you when you took a bucket to bed! You said you tried though, impressed. I quite sharply told mine not to touch me last night (affectionately of course...)

GadgetgirlUk · 29/04/2017 07:57

Good luck today @Bluebell! I've got an early scan today too - think I'm 8+1 today, so not expecting to see much, am just holding it for a heartbeat!! Very nervous xxx

MaryShelley1818 · 29/04/2017 08:03

Good luck today Bluebell and Gadgetgirl! Enjoy meeting baby for the first time xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 08:05

Thanks everyone and yes you too gadgetgirl. We're hoping for all being well too. I'm 7+2 today Smile

Oysterbabe · 29/04/2017 08:21

Good luck Bluebell. I have mine at Mothercare when I'm 7+4 so I'll be interested to hear what it's like.

JustAnotherYellowBelly · 29/04/2017 08:29

Thanks oyster. Sure, I'll report back this afternoon on everything. Smile

looby1304 · 29/04/2017 08:41

Not been on for a while - this thread moves fast so there's too much to properly catch up on!
Good luck to everyone having their scans today, mine is tomorrow and I'll be 8w5d so hopefully all is well.
I've had a bad week for nausea this week, only been sick once though. I took my class to the zoo yesterday which was awful, we got stuck in traffic for 3 and a half hours on the way so the day didn't get off to a good start! Thank goodness I've told me TA and she was absolutely amazing in taking the lead - I owe her a bottle of wine I think!

runthemileyourein · 29/04/2017 08:47

Good morning all! I hope everyone's doing well and managing their nausea. Fingers crossed it isn't for too much longer!
Sorry I've not been on for a while. I've had head-in-a-bucket sickness for the past few weeks. I need to catch up on how everyone is doing.
I had an early scan yesterday and all the throwing up suddenly seemed worth it. 😊
Measuring bang on dates with strong heartbeat. I was in floods of tears. I didn't realize how desperate I was for this news after my mc in December. Good luck to everyone having scans this weekend Flowers

runthemileyourein · 29/04/2017 08:48

Ps I thought its head had fallen off but it turns out it was just the yolk sac!! Grin

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 09:00

Run I'm sorry you've been so sick but what an awesome scan picture!!! Bet you're so happy! How far along are you?

Time is going REALLY slowly this morning for me. I am so desperate for things to be all good at the scan Hmm

MontyPants · 29/04/2017 09:08

Good luck today Bluebell

I'm currently in bed, I need to be at work for 9:45..... I feel so rough! But I can't call in sick as I'm training someone and it'll mess their progress up. I'm just not sure how helpful I'm going to be. Give me strength 😣🤢😭

runthemileyourein · 29/04/2017 09:12

Hi Mrs! I was 8+4 yesterday at the scan. Yes I'm absolutely delighted and bit of an emotional wreck! Grin I can't stop looking at the scan pics and the video they took of the heartbeat. How far along are you?

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 09:17

Hi run. I'm 7+2 so not expecting to see as much as you but still hoping for a heartbeat.

Monty i hope you're feeling ok soon and that work is ok Sad

glastogal · 29/04/2017 09:52

Hope everyone enjoys their scans this weekend!! I'm loving the pics and general excitement they bring to the thread 😁 In fact, you have all made me crave another scan 😂 don't think DP is up for spending £89 though.. there are no cheaper places near me!!

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 09:54

Glasto I know. Mine is £89 Confused but I've convinced myself it'll be worth it.

I was also convinced this morning I had no symptoms and it is going to be bad news, although I've just gone all dizzy and exhausted feeling again just after drying my hair. So here's hoping it's a sign that all is ok!

MaryShelley1818 · 29/04/2017 10:00

Mine is usually £89 but I found a Groupon for £50 so might be worth you all having a look on there?

We've paid £50 for an early scan and £399 for a scan and NIPT testing at 10+3. Luckily for me DP is just as crazy as me and happy to spend money on anything that helps us worry less!

Carlotta82248 · 29/04/2017 10:31

Not pregnant enough to tell people, with toothache, feeling like a blimp.......yes, I'm off to a wedding! Pray for me haha x

MaryShelley1818 · 29/04/2017 10:43

Hope you manage to enjoy Carlotta!! Xx

glastogal · 29/04/2017 10:44

I did look on Groupon Mary but the closest is north London at the mo and it will cost us more than the difference to get there!! 😁 Will keep an eye out though!!

I think it will be well worth it bluebell - enjoy your scan today! What time is it?

GadgetgirlUk · 29/04/2017 10:45

Good luck, @Carlotta! X

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 11:13

Thanks glasto it's at 12. DH is just driving us there now and I'm trying to drink the water I was told to drink before. Just stuffed my face with an iced finger too. Yum! Grin
Totally nervous though......

Lixon · 29/04/2017 12:07

Good luck mrsbluebell and gadget girl with the scans!

Carlotta I was you yesterday! Enjoy! I really struggled as was exhausted, didn't know anyone and usually need a drink to relax on the dance floor but after a few trips back to our room for a rest/nap during long drinks breaks I had a lovely time and managed to last til 1.30! My dress was so tight though!! It was made easier by none eyeballing my drinking though at least. Will you know lots of people to hide it from?

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 13:22

Afternoon everyone. So, good news to report. All was well at the scan. Measuring 7+1 so about what I thought. Good heartbeat. But.... they want us to go back for a rescan in two weeks as she can't decide if she can see two heartbeats and thinks she measures two!!!! But, if she can then they are in the same sac so would be identical! Wow! Anyway, back to rescan in two weeks and either way, we definitely have one measuring as it should at this stage. GrinGrinGrin

isitwinetimeyet16 · 29/04/2017 13:32

Oh my God bluebell that's amazing!! How can you wait a week though; id be banging on the door every day for another scan!!

Feel a bit sicky finally at 8weeks exactly - just can't stop eating! And so fricking tired! Had loads of toast marmite and cream cheese for lunch followed by a bake well tart...amazing.
