Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

pause - I found leggings 🙄 tried next and new look and neither had maternity wear in store 😫 neither did asda! So annoying. Anyways, I bought some leggings to keep me going a bit longer and I will try matalan next week.

glastogal · 28/04/2017 18:49

Also.. my cat has totally sensed I'm pregnant. He has become extremely loving over the past few weeks. Never been interested in a lap before now!! Anyone else noticed a change in their pets??

Beardy1 · 28/04/2017 18:56

glasto I've had a similar thing with my gsd pooch. She's normally crasy and boisterous but she's so gentle and patient with me now. Animals are amazing

mamalovesviolet · 28/04/2017 19:00

Glasto same with my cat. He did the same in my first pregnancy. Sadly didn't last past when DD1 was born as he didn't like the noise and has only just decided he doesn't mind her!

leighdinglady · 28/04/2017 19:13

Unfortunately not in our house. Our one year old dog is still crazy as ever and trying to jump all over me. He keeps jumping on my boobs!!! :-S

MontyPants · 28/04/2017 19:15

Yes, definitely. My dogs are much more affectionate. And my mum's dog came to stay recently and she's usually bonkers and won't stay still, but she came in and jumped straight up on the sofa and fell asleep snuggled up against me. She has never done that before. They are so clever.

pauseplayrepeat · 28/04/2017 19:16

Ah glasto, enjoy the roomier leggings at least. No maternity section in my local new look, next or H&M either. Will have to order a billion things to collect, then probably return all. I did remember I have dungarees. Dh thinks I look ridiculous in them but he might need to get over that Grin

glastogal · 28/04/2017 20:13

Oh Beardy I love that!! Animals are amazing aren't they?! I'm so pleased with this development 😁

Mama - I'm not expecting my cats to enjoy the baby one bit. They are not fond of loud noise. Should be fun!!

Ouch Leigh, my boobs are so tender! You poor thing!

Monty that's so cute!! My mum's dogs were clueless when I saw them the other day. The younger one tried his usual best to knock me over at every opportunity!!

glastogal · 28/04/2017 20:15

pause - it's so frustrating, I have no idea what size to order and really wanted to try them on first. I know I can return them but I can see that process taking forever as I can't afford to buy a load and send them back later!!

millsbynight · 28/04/2017 20:28

Hi Ladies!

I know I'm late to the party with an EDD of 30th December and I'm on the January thread too but I think this one will come early so I'll hop between the two - hope that's ok!

I saw you game of poas leftover ovulation sticks. Here's my Boots ovulation test - square shape is test line, round circle is control line... Think I'm pregnant, or having the mother of all ovulations Grin

Glasto love that your cat has sensed your pregnancy 😃 hope my cat and dog do this!

Ouch!! Hope your LO is ok CantDance. Prague sounds fab, have a great time!

Oh Carlotta you poor thing! I can't stand the dentist, hope the pain has improved. Sorry to hear you experienced pain but how lovely you got to see your little bean!

How frustrating Donna, hope you hear soon.

Anyone been a bridesmaid when pregnant? I will be around 4 months at date of wedding, dress already bought. Do I wait until as close to the wedding as poss for alterations, or should I go soon so they can see what can be done with the dress in terms of letting it out if needed? I've not tried it on yet (they didn't have my size in the shop when we chose them) so I don't know how much room I have to play with yet, so nervous it's not going to fit! 🙈

My booking in appointment is next Tue (7+2) and I should be getting a letter with my scan date soon 😁 time is going so slow!!

millsbynight · 28/04/2017 20:51

Carley how tight is the bridesmaids dress and if there's a waistline where does it sit (empire, drop, basque?). At 4 months you'll have a teeny tiny bump. I was still wearing normal dresses at 4 months. In fact I didn't have any sort of bump till about 20 weeks :)

Marie90 · 28/04/2017 21:26

Urgh. Just had my first second maybe even third Pregnancy meltdown today. Had a horrendously long and stressful day in work, topped off by coming home to my OH in bed feeling ill (I'm sorry but I just had no sympathy... I'm supposed to be the one in bed)!

Had to go out to asda for dinner and only had the stomach for lemon chicken... Surprise surprise the didn't have it! Chinese wouldn't deliver it either so ended up driving to Morrison's to get some and ..you guessed it.. THEY DIDNT FUCKING HAVE IT!!

Ended up getting s&s chicken as the sauce was separate so didn't have to eat that bit.

Currently pouting on the sofa whilst eating my chicken with a jar of lemon curd. Hmm

(Please tell me I'm not going mad)!?

Carley27 · 28/04/2017 21:52

Thanks for the reassurance mills - it has a natural waist, quite fitted but has some ruching which should hide a little bump. I'm quite tiny so just worried it will end up too tight (but I know they can work wonders with alterations so probably worrying needlessly!).

Haha Marie sorry but that did make me laugh - glad you got your lemon chicken in the end! Grin

glastogal · 28/04/2017 22:04

Carley - I'm gonna be a bridesmaid at 17 weeks too. Not tried the dress yet but the material is pretty stretchy so I think it will be fine. Would be good to try it on now, with all this bloating I'm probably around the right size!!

Carley27 · 28/04/2017 22:06

Good point Glasto - I am quite bloated just now so probably a good time to try it on. Plus I will worry about it until I do anyway!

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 22:08

Carlotta sorry to hear of the dental issues but so happy for you with your surprise scan today. I've heard the same re the stats and that's why I'm so anxious about tomorrow being all good for us. How on earth am I going to get through to tomorrow afternoon?! I am so nervous and excited all at once. Hmm

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 22:08

Welcome mills!

DiveItLikeYouStoleIt · 28/04/2017 23:17

Hello! Newly to mumsnet so have no idea what I'm doing but am 4 and a bit weeks pregnant with 3rd baby (Dec 30 DD). Would be nice to have some fellow pregnant people company for the long haul ahead!

Mumoftheark · 28/04/2017 23:31

Oh god I'm laying in bed trying not to vomit, I have no time for "morning" sickness. How do you do a school run if you are sick 😩 trying not to move & DH just tried to have sex ...... erm here's a tip idiot, when your wife brings a bucket to bed it's not on the cards - like he hasn't done enough already lol.

Mumoftheark · 28/04/2017 23:33

Hi @ DiveItLikeYouStoleIt welcome to the group. I'm due 28th with dc3 so might join the Jan thread as well

Mumoftheark · 28/04/2017 23:35

@Marie90 lemon curd and chicken that's hysterical and so wrong 😂😂😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 05:23

Welcome dive!

Well I'm wide awake at silly o'clock for a weekend again. I think it's because of the anticipation of my scan today Smile sooooo hoping and praying everything will be good. Totally nervous.

Mrsbluebell17 · 29/04/2017 05:24

Oh and my scan is at mothercare so if everything is ok then I may just be tempted to buy our first baby thing Grin

biginjapan · 29/04/2017 06:12

Thinking of you today bluebell.
