Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Just got my appointment finally. 3rd may at 2pm. I will be 6+3

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/04/2017 14:14

Still no word from the midwives. In Feb they called me back the next day. I'm beginning to get Cross and I'm composing complaint letters in my head.

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 14:17

@Zaberwocky how frustrating! Having a pie that I couldn't eat would be torture right now!!

Doctor that must be so frustrating just not hearing anything. I'd be going bad. I hope they get back to you soon x

derryjojo · 28/04/2017 14:22

Went t my Gp yesterday and got an early pregnancy scan for Wednesday. So fingers crossed.

Has anyone ever had a feeling that they were having twins and been right? My symptoms seem much stronger and have come on quicker than in my last pregnancies.

Zaberwocky · 28/04/2017 14:23

Bren it IS TORTURE! I'm desperate for it 😂 I want to drive to the shops and just buy one of those naff ones that's under those heat lamps by the sandwiches ... but I can quite do a 30 minute drive without puking!

derryjojo · 28/04/2017 14:29

Zaber could you order a pie as a take away? Nothing worse than a pregnant woman not being able to have the food she wants

Zaberwocky · 28/04/2017 15:12

I've been scouring just eat and everything Angry no one will deliver here. I am in a town! It's not like I'm living in the middle of nowhere. Why are there no takeaways here!? ITS NOT FAIR!

Tantrum over. I'll go back to my crackers now Grin

leighdinglady · 28/04/2017 15:21

zaber do you have Deliveroo there? It's amazing Grin

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 15:27

Zaber roughly what area are you in?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/04/2017 15:33

Doesn't look like I'll hear until Tuesday at the earliest. So frustrating.

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 15:46

Oh Donna that's so so annoying Angry I can only imagine how frustrated you are.

Carlotta82248 · 28/04/2017 15:52

What a day! Need a root canal or an extraction Sadthey've patched me up today but at the moment it feels just as painful! Need all of the drugs, can't have any of the drugs!

In other news, I had a scan today! I'd rung the GP about some pain and got sent to EPAC, no pic but a little teeny flickering bean measuring 6 and a half weeks exactly, was amazing and she said once they see that they give pregnancies a 95% chance of continuing Smile would have been even more amazing if I didn't want to rip my own head off during! X

MaryShelley1818 · 28/04/2017 16:21

Awful Carlotta but yay for your scan!! That's lovely, bet you feel so relieved x

Zaber...I'd happily live off Pringles and toasties right now! Hope you got some rest yesterday x

Mumoftheark · 28/04/2017 17:15

😭😭😭 5 weeks yesterday and the exhaustion has kicked in! Pick my son up from school and can just about function

Mumoftheark · 28/04/2017 17:17

@derryjojo I knew my last pregnancy I was pregnant with twins. My because I had extra bad symptoms or anything I just knew. It was no surprise when at an early scan it was confirmed I just laughed. Unfortunately only one made it, but I truly believe women have amazing instincts and know what's going on in our bodies - eeeeek exciting. I would love twins this time but I just don't feel them

biginjapan · 28/04/2017 17:29

Hey royal - congratulations and snap on the 3ds - are you going to find out what you are having? We have decided not to - Cant imagine a girl tbh.

Carlotta that's wonderful news Smile

biginjapan · 28/04/2017 17:30

Also royal, how old are you and your DS? I'm 38 with a 10,9 and 5 year old.

Zaber it sounds grim - I'm at the generally feeling a bit off and have to eat the second I feel hungry stage.

fishfingerSarnies · 28/04/2017 17:47

Shit I'm so bloody tired.

Royalsteph · 28/04/2017 17:52

I'm 28, 29 in Nov. DH is 36.
DS1 is 9
DS2 is 6
DS3 is 2 next month
Yes we are going to find out, can't imagine a girl either but would be over the moon. Healthy is the way forward though.

pauseplayrepeat · 28/04/2017 18:06

zabe wish I was loaded do I could special delivery you an oven, or a pie. Torture not having what you crave. Will it come tomorrow?
Hello royal, welcome!
glasto come back and tell me all about any comfy trousers you find! I did the school run today in yoga gear even though I didn't go near my mat Blush

Oysterbabe · 28/04/2017 18:06

Ridiculously exhausted too. Pregnancy when you already have a toddler is no joke.

MontyPants · 28/04/2017 18:21

Welcome Brens and Steph, and congratulations!

I'm having some pains today, but feels like a broad pain across my stomach, but quite low. Trying to work out if it's just gas/constipation or not (sorry tmi). Hoping all is ok. I'm also HUGE. I've definitely got a bump. I don't know how anyone hides this until after 12 weeks. Glad I'm it not keeping it secret, as I've been walking around at work with my trouser button undone

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 28/04/2017 18:28

Well I made it through my midwife appointment and lunch without having to pretend to take Jagerbombs

I'm on antibiotics apparently Hmm..

Steak sandwich and chocolate pudding with custard and ice cream is the most I've eaten in weeks - I'm exhausted 😂 used up the last of my energy trying to consume it. Ended up driving home the longer way with the window down and giving the motorway a miss

Still not sure of dates so midwife reckons I'll have a scan in six weeks or so

Prague on Sunday - oh and my toddler broke his foot the other day 😳 it's all go here in my house

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/04/2017 18:36

Just arrived in Caister for the weekend. No word yet.

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 18:37

I definitely need to get to the not being able to eat stage quickly! DH doesn't get home from work till late and in those 3 hours after I'm home I'm just eating!!
I've had to stop my exercise class as was on a rebounder and not recommended by my doc. Anyone do anything fun and pregnant lady friendly?
