Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Hi, I'm a bit late to the party, but if it's food you're talking about I'm definitely in! BFP last week, so am working at as due Dec 24th. Have not stopped eating since finding out, not sure if it's a symptom or if I'm just pretending it is as an excuse!

Oysterbabe · 28/04/2017 08:36

I hear you Brens, I was like phew I can finally stop pretending to try to lose the baby weight, bring on the carbs!

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 08:37

I just had to recheck that on my calendar that I did only find out a week ago - feels like so much longer lol. I'm going to go mad waiting for the first scan!

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 08:39

@Oysterbabe haha totally. I've just lost 3 stone, so am enjoying the excuse of being able to eat again. Must have eaten 3 easter eggs in two days over the weekend lol. Still seem to have dropped a couple of pounds tho.

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 08:46

Welcome Brens. I can vouch for the fact that time does seem to go really slowly. Have you any other DC? This is my first and I'm 7+1 today but found out at 3+4 so it's been a long few weeks so far, all very nervewracking but exciting too.

Enjoy the journey!

ChocolateRaisin · 28/04/2017 08:47

Morning all. I'm definitely buying some leggings, floaty tops and some new bras!

It all feels more real this morning. I've booked another scan in 2 weeks time as we are going on holiday with a load of friends for a wedding and I am a bridesmaid, people will definitely notice that I'm not drinking and it would put my mind at rest to know that things are all ok if people ask me.

Got my NHS scan date through for 2nd June and my booking appointment, which is typically for when I'm away, so I will change that this morning.

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 08:54

Thanks @Mrsbluebell17. No, this is my first as well, so bundle of nerves and feeling of unrealness until we can actually see it I think! I'm not the most patient person normally anyway so this is going to be a real test.

Carlotta82248 · 28/04/2017 09:02

Hating life! Sitting in emergency dentist after an awful night and TODAY would be the day I start to feel nauseous Confused

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 09:13

Brens I'm the same, that's why I ended up booking a private early scan, which is tomorrow at 7+2.

Chocolate I think I'd do the same in your position. I need to find somewhere that does them cheaper though if I'm going to have more for reassurance. It's £89 for mine tomorrow. Not sure if that is standard!

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 09:13

Thinking of you Carlotta. Hope you're ok?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/04/2017 09:25

Getting very stressed and anxious now. Called the number it said to call got through to a midwife in the next town who said she couldn't help me call the community midwife between 9-10 and there'll be someone there. There wasn't. Their answer phone told me to call the number I'd called yesterday! I hate not knowing what's going on. I've had a missed miscarriage and an early miscarriage (in Feb) and I really want to know I'm in the system and want to get my appointments booked so I can avoid telling school (on my days off). It's too much today. And I have a headache.

MaryShelley1818 · 28/04/2017 11:21

Good luck for your scan tomorrow MrsBluebell!! I'm absolutely terrified for mine, I feel so anxious and scared. Just want it to be over. I'm at the Midwife the day after, then big family Birthday meal the day after, then away for 2 days, and I just keep thinking if there's something wrong then I'll have ruined the whole week - for us and for everyone else too Sad

Welcome Brens Smile

Hope you're ok Carlotta ((hugs)) and hope you get sorted DoctorDonna xx

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 28/04/2017 11:51

Sitting in the doctor's waiting room for my first midwife appointment; then off out for lunch with my colleagues for a leaving party..

I am the Jagerbomb queen - not 100% sure how I'm gonna get away with this 😂

pauseplayrepeat · 28/04/2017 12:06

doctor & carlotta, sounds like you're both having terrible days Sad
I couldn't imagine getting through a wedding at this stage Lixon! May the force be with you.
Also very tempted to buy some maternity jeans but will try and hold off another 3 weeks until I've had a scan. I've lost weight due to the sickness but have a permanently bloated belly. It definitely can't be a bump at 8+6...can it? Grin Living in leggings and floaty tunics.
Bird your scan pic is amazing. So clear, and lovely to see the profile already.
Congrats and welcome brens!

pauseplayrepeat · 28/04/2017 12:08

can't - jagerbombs - don't know how you fake them! Good luck! 😳

glastogal · 28/04/2017 12:29

I'm going out this afternoon to find some trousers pause - I'm 9 weeks today and I don't own a single pair of trousers that will do up!! This is fine at home, I can chill in yoga pants or PJs but I feel so self conscious leaving the house. I'm certain it's bloat, like you, but since it's not going anywhere I'm thinking I might just brave it and invest!!

mamalovesviolet · 28/04/2017 12:41

Got my booking in appointment set for 17 May and my scan for 16 June. Seems so far away but I know it'll go quickly - I often feel I am on this fast life treadmill. I can't believe my DD1 is 18 months!

Brens13 · 28/04/2017 12:48

Just been for a walk through our city parks like I do every lunchtime. Except this time I felt like I needed to stop for a nap on a bench half way through so had to stop and buy some chocolate brazils for an energy boost. Can't believe how quickly the tiredness starts!

Can't - I'm also a bit of a drinking fiend and have to go to a rugby match with work people tomorrow and my end of season hockey club do next weekend. Pretty sure someone will notice I'm not quite as much fun as usual lol.

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 12:59

Can't good luck with the no jäger thing! Could you say you have to drive somewhere tonight?

I'm not sure I'm going to get away with not drinking at all next week when I'm in the us with work. Nervous about it. Think plenty of people will ask if I'm pregnant and I feel guilty denying it but I don't want to tell them when I'm only 7-8 weeks. I want to wait until after my proper scan at 12 weeks.

Mary I know, I had the same thought to be honest. We booked this scan for tomorrow so I had reassurance before I go away with work and now I'm worrying something will be wrong tomorrow and I'll want to stay behind. Hopefully everything will be ok tomorrow.

Not feeling as sick today but I slept loads better last night so think that's helped. And I've been really busy all morning so my mind had been taken off it a bit.

DoctorDonna have you managed to get sorted now? I hope so. You don't need any extra stress Sad

Royalsteph · 28/04/2017 13:31

Am I too late to join?

LapinR0se · 28/04/2017 13:44

Hope everyone is feeling okay today!

Apparently there is not a single bloody oven in the country. So I evidently cannot have one Hmm yay ... sandwiches again for dinner. I JUST WANT THE BLOODY PIE THATS IN THE FREEZER!

Mrsbluebell17 · 28/04/2017 13:46

Congrats and welcome Steph.
