Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Good luck today choc!!

I had really vivid (and horrible) dreams last night so I don't feel well rested but i made myself a big breakfast hash with chilli and poached eggs and I am a lot more human now!! I find I can take my food a lot hotter since being pregnant and actually really want lots of chilli on everything 😂

Annie1290 · 27/04/2017 10:05

I had a scan at 6+1 that measured 5+6 and am not reassured at all although they said all looked fine for that age. Trying to wait till 8/9 weeks to book a private scan. Too many people know at my work due to the nature of my job.

Last 3 days have felt kind of nauseous/not right. Helped by salty crisps/chips/whatever. Comes in waves about 9-12.

Hope everyone is OK.

Lixon · 27/04/2017 10:20

After lots of back and forth around cvs decision, have booked a harmony test for Friday 19 May at 10w exactly. I'm a bit worried I will be measuring behind and will need to return on a different date but couldn't face the extra 3 day wait for a Monday appointment Blush

I figure between this and the standard NHS tests I should be able to get comfortable if they all come back clear and avoid a cvs unless there's something showing potentially not right beyond history..

I will definitely find out gender, am very impatient :)

MummyHenman2be · 27/04/2017 10:37

I am having an early scan at what we think is 7 weeks exactly on Sunday! Excited but also bricking it haha!

Hoping to see a good strong heartbeat!

ChocolateRaisin · 27/04/2017 10:51

Thanks everyone, today is dragging a bit!

Just had my letters through for my booking in app and scan date, typically I'm away for the booking in appointment, so if all is ok today I'll rearrange. Scan date booked in for 2nd June, I'll be 12+6 then. Booking appointment for 10+2, will try and get it rebooked for the week before.

glastogal · 27/04/2017 10:52

So many scans coming up the next few days.. it's so exciting (but nerve-wracking at the same time!) Good luck everyone!! ♥️♥️

Bisquick · 27/04/2017 11:00

I'm the same glastogal! I already eat quite spicy food, but want even more chilli on everything when pregnant!

YouBoggleMyMind · 27/04/2017 11:00

DH has come home from work sick. I like to think he's got my morning sickness and is dealing with it for me!
Hate sickness, myself or others. Makes me so anxious Sad

Bisquick · 27/04/2017 11:03

Chamonix1 · 27/04/2017 12:13

Hope everyone is well today.
No morning sickness that'll kick in this evening. I've got into cooking dinner just after breakfast, chicken curry currently cooking away on the hob. My poor dh was eating freezer food every evening. Dd didn't mind though!
Good luck chocolate raisin on your scan today!
Youboggle sorry to hear DH not well, know what you mean about sickness I always feel like I've got it until I know I'm in the clear. I hope you manage to avoid it!

Luxecalmeetvolupte · 27/04/2017 12:18

Good luck to all with early scans - think I will hold out for the usual 12wks one. That said, this sickness is definitely the D&V big that DS has just had so I'm a teensy bit more worried about something going wrong, but I understand it's fairly unlikely. Looking more and more unlikely that we get away on hols on Sat though Sad

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 12:55

Ice cold today. Can't get warm. Feel really sick too but haven't actually been sick. Just trying to stomach some potato waffles to see if that helps as I can't face anything more. Hmm

I'm hoping it's just because I'm so exhausted that I'm feeling it more today.

Fingers crossed for positive results at scan on Saturday. Smile

Marie90 · 27/04/2017 13:03

Just had a look at the spreadsheet and there are loads of us!!

Good luck to all those with scans today :)

I'm happy to report that nausea is back today. It's actually really reassuring so I'm ok with it at the moment! (That and the fact that I haven't actually thrown up yet)!

I've got my midwife appointment next Tuesday, and then I'm planning on telling my boss sometime next week... Terrified is an understatement Blush

TipTop333 · 27/04/2017 13:14

I finally updated the spreadsheet! It's looking brilliant. I like being nosey seeing whereabouts everyone is.

Time feels like it's going very slowly. I'm ok but missing DH and DD already (I'm in the US for work until next Friday). 7+4 today and symptoms have faded even more. Ovia says the placenta is taking over so the hormonal toll may be lessening.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 27/04/2017 13:31

Argh!!! When will the bloody midwives contact me. Their site said a week, it's been longer than that already!

MummyHenman2be · 27/04/2017 13:56

I've bought my booking appointment forward a week to 18th May so will be 9+4. Feeling happier than that rather than leaving it until a week later.

It gives them 3 weeks to get a scan booked in before we go on honeymoon!

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 14:03

Hi henman. We did the same thing, brought booking in appointment forward to allow 3 weeks before we go away. It's my birthday also around the time we go away, and I'd like to have had my scan by then ideally so I can tell people then and have a real reason not to drink, as at the moment I am avoiding telling people until we know all is ok!

It all feels like so far away at the moment!

MummyHenman2be · 27/04/2017 14:11

@Mrsbluebell17 glad to know I'm not the only one thinking about it like that haha!

When are you due?

60percentbanana · 27/04/2017 14:16

I've got my booking appointment through now, on the 16th. I'll be anywhere between 9+4 to 11+1 (first based on when I think it happened, second based on lmp).

I've now got no symptoms, none at all, which is a bit worrying ☹️

pauseplayrepeat · 27/04/2017 14:43

glasto Thai is my flavour of the week. Fresh, spicy and zingy. My sickness definitely gets worse over the day so by 5pmish I can't bear the thought of anything. zabe, how are you doing? Have you been back to the gp to try another med? Get yourself signed off work for at least a week to try and get on top of managing it. Stress and lack of sleep can make the sickness worse.
Just had my booking appt. Midwife was lovely. Got my scan booked for 12+6. Felt suddenly very real sat in the waiting room surrounded by bumps!

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 15:12

Henman I'm due 14th December.

Anyone else struggling with exhaustion? I feel totally totally wiped out Confused

glastogal · 27/04/2017 15:27

pause - oh yes!! I NEED Thai food.. that is exactly what I want right now! It's DPs birthday next week and we will go out for dinner so I might try to sway him towards Thai.. a super hot red curry would hit the spot in a big way 😍 so lucky you got your scan appt straight away.. I run for the post every day hoping my appt has arrived (sad).

Banana - I'm symptomless too, it's hard not to worry, I know! I had a scan last week and all was normal though. Some of us just get away without symptoms.. I don't think anyone feels worry free in the first trimester!! Xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 15:37

Just wanted to post to say I'm having Thai chicken curry for tea tonight. But I do currently feel the most sick I've felt this pregnancy so let's hope I can stomach it.

Got some sharp twinges in my lower abdomen. It's making me worry ConfusedSad

Zaberwocky · 27/04/2017 15:45

I have new tablets Grin I feel a teeny bit more alive. Tired, but slightly less full of puke.

Would you all think I'm maybe a bit insane to still be job hunting? I've been invited to an interview next Wednesday, my current job is bloody awful, but is it really a good idea to start something new?

Ugh. Why is life so bloody complicated!?
