Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Canthelpdancing - I rarely eat brie (I do love it though) but now I can't have it I have an unhealthy obsession with it!! Pâté too 🙄

leighdinglady · 26/04/2017 22:04

Mama it's so weird. It's just on the front of my calves. I want to claw them off

GadgetgirlUk · 26/04/2017 22:53

Fantastic news, @biginjapan xx
I've been feeling nauseous all day, the only thing that stops it is eating. Am going to be a whale by the time the bean is born. Anyone else have the same thing in terms of eating being a cure?

MontyPants · 27/04/2017 01:03

Gadget my mum recommended eating to cure sickness. But I'm not convinced.

Although my dog ate a rotting dead bird tonight on our walk, so that was a lovely thing to deal with while managing the nausea of pregnancy. I was too scared to grab it out of his mouth in case it had nasty germs. DH seems to think I'm overreacting but I can see a sleepless night ahead worrying about the dog!

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 03:32

Argh why am I awake Confused hope you're all sleeping better than I am tonight.

MaryShelley1818 · 27/04/2017 04:08

Unfortunately not and I'm exhausted!! Feeling a little nauseous too. X

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 04:30

Hi Mary. I've just come back to bed after getting myself a glass of milk and a biscuit as I feel like I'm so hungry that I'm going to throw up. Not a fun feeling at 4am.

My legs are aching loads too - I can't seem to stretch the aching feeling away tonight.

DH is getting irritated with me fidgeting Hmm

Carlotta82248 · 27/04/2017 05:51

I was also in the 3.45 club and am a bit queasy this morning, had a god awful day at work yesterday though so could be a combo I think. DP fell asleep on sofa last night and as I lent over to wake him I squished my boobs and oooouuuuuucccchhhhh, very tender!

looby1304 · 27/04/2017 06:37

I was awake half the night as well, not looking forward to work today. The nausea has really kicked in the last couple of days for me, and my appetite has gone from.m eating everything in sight to not being able to stomach much at all! Sat her trying to force down a toasted bagel for breakfast, don't think I've ever eaten one so slowly!

GadgetgirlUk · 27/04/2017 06:44

@Montypants, ha ha! I laughed so hard at that I snorted! What is it with dogs eating the most disgusting things? Every time!

Pretty sure they have the best immune systems so am sure your pooch will be just fine xx

LapinR0se · 27/04/2017 07:11

Ended up having to tell 2 colleagues the news yesterday. We are at a shoot and it was a 14-hour day. I was absolutely weak with tiredness and nausea by 9 when we wrapped for the day and they were all wuhooo let's go for a beer.
I said oh I'm a bit tired now I'll just head back to the hotel and I got all sorts of grief.
So I pulled two of them aside and told them. They were sooo happy for me. I actually felt worse after I told them like it might jinx something.
But at least I got to go to bed by 10!

MaryShelley1818 · 27/04/2017 07:40

Hope you got back to sleep MrsBluebell! I went back to sleep around 5.30am and got another 90mins.
LapinRose my entire work team know now! A friend/colleague who I'd told in confidence accidentally blurted it out yesterday when we were planning a team night out! It was completely unintentional and she was mortified but I feel physically sick now that everyone knows! I sat in the toilets and cried for ages, I'm so scared something goes wrong x

MontyPants · 27/04/2017 08:17

Gadget thanks, he seems fine this morning. And I'm glad someone can see the funny side! He is just such a gross dog 🤢

Zaberwocky · 27/04/2017 08:33

Monty dogs can be complete bastards sometimes 😂 !

I relented and decided to call in sick today. I'm hugging the bucket and enviously looking at the skin of the people on the pro active advert...

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 08:40

Mary Thankfully I did the same, so got some extra sleep. Think my milk and biscuit helped 😂

biginjapan · 27/04/2017 08:42

Mary Shock. I would be livid - no wonder you are upset. I'm sure everyone would be v supportive if anything happened though.

mamalovesviolet · 27/04/2017 08:44

My DD1 slept in till 7! I actually got woken up by my alarm haha. Not that I feel rested. Just feel tired.

I used to have food in my bedside table for when I got really hungry last time. Apple and sultana go aheads we're my saviour. Ended up with lots of crumbs in bed though

Bisquick · 27/04/2017 08:47

Ladies, what's the earliest any of you have had a scan that was reassuring? I'm feeling quite anxious and was wondering if going for a scan at 5+6 would be way too early.

MaryShelley1818 · 27/04/2017 08:52

Zaber it sounds like you deserve a day off...stay tucked up in bed and hoping you get some rest x

I'm going for a scan at what I think will be 7+2. Didn't want to go earlier and risk not seeing heartbeat as that will make me more anxious x

leighdinglady · 27/04/2017 08:56

Same - I'm booked in for seven weeks exactly. I think you can sometimes see the heartbeat from 6+ but I didn't want to risk not seeing it and being a nervous wreck

Mrsbluebell17 · 27/04/2017 09:01

Mine is booked in for when I think I'm 7+2 but the clear blue digis work out that I'll be 7 on that date. So I don't know what I'm expecting when I get there apart from to be at least 7!

It's on Saturday, I'm totally nervous and excited!

Just demolished two slices of toast and could eat more! Shock

ChocolateRaisin · 27/04/2017 09:03

So glad you're off today Zabe, I am too.

Got my scan today, I'm 7+5. Fingers crossed I get some reassurance...

Bisquick I wanted to have my scan as close to 8 weeks as possible as you should definitely see a heartbeat. I had a mmc last year and it stopped growing at 6+2, so a scan at 6 weeks would not have reassured me at all.

Bisquick · 27/04/2017 09:27

Right. DH is also of the view that a scan now will likely just make us more anxious and we should just try to wait until 7 weeks. Thanks ladies! And good lucky for your scan ChocolateRaisin

MaryShelley1818 · 27/04/2017 09:31

Good luck ChocolateRaisin x

Lixon · 27/04/2017 09:31

I had a scan at 6w due to bleeding and did see a tiny heartbeat but miscarriage risk is still around 10% following a scan so early so it was only s momentary relief from anxiety. Plus if the baby is measuring a few days behind you might not see anything as it's borderline at this stage. I think if you can hold out for another week (or even a few days if not) it will help ensure you see the flutter.
