Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Gosh peach, how moving.

I am back. So the sac has grown appropriately since last week, she saw a heartbeat - baby tiny (2mm crl) and she urged caution as I'm so sure of dates. Have stopped bleeding which is good.

Husband is poleaxed and it's difficult but obviously I am so delighted. Thanks so much for good vibes Decemberists!

ExPresidents · 26/04/2017 10:19

biginjapan that's terrific, so pleased for you. I know you said you're sure of dates - do you mean you're sure of ov date or of DTD date?

biginjapan · 26/04/2017 10:27

I had a static smiley on 23rd and dtd that night. That is it for the whole month. Very odd. Can only think it didn't implant for absolutely ages. They are measuring the embryo at less than 6 weeks Hmm. It does make sense in terms of the digi tests and how long it took to get a strong line on ic - also only just beginning to get a few symptoms.

mamalovesviolet · 26/04/2017 10:36

Good news biginjapan!

glastogal · 26/04/2017 11:09

Spermies can survive for up to a week in good conditions so you could have just ovulated a little later than you think bigjapan (opks are not that accurate). Great news you saw a heartbeat though!! Absolutely fantastic 🙌🙌

glastogal · 26/04/2017 11:11

God I'm knackered.. first trip back to the gym since January (I was a big gym bunny before IVF) and I've lost so much fitness. Gonna be taking this very easy for the time being!!

ExPresidents · 26/04/2017 11:34

Yep agreed, you could have ov'd later than you thought, or implantation took a while, or both. Great that there's a heartbeat, that's a good sign. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

MaryShelley1818 · 26/04/2017 11:39

That's great news biginjapan! So pleased for you x

Boggle I'm similar, 6+4 today, not many symptoms, some nausea past couple of days but haven't actually been sick. Early scan on Monday!

Mumoftheark · 26/04/2017 11:43

That's great news @Biginjapan Smile I hope your husband will come round with time.

I have a boy and a girl already. Both times I found out what I was having. This time I think I'm going to wait to have a different experience and not find out. However I am convinced I'm carrying a boy.

I may do another test today, I don't really have any symptoms and it's freaking me out a bit. I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow so still really early days. May get an early scan at 6-7 weeks.

This morning I'm stuck in waiting for a delivery so am having a clear out. Going brought all my little ones clothes and choosing all the bits I'm going to keep for this baby although it's all pretty gender specific.

I however do own an online baby shop and have already stolen a few bits of my own stock 🙈😂

MummyHenman2be · 26/04/2017 11:52

Ooo @Mumoftheark what is your shop called?

I've gone from feeling really nauseas over the weekend to feeling super gaggy again!

Anyone else feeling like they wanna gag quite a lot? I really have to concentrate on not doing it. Especially in the office as then the secret really would be out!

TootsyBella84 · 26/04/2017 12:20

Great news Biginjapan! Will they get you back in for another scan or is that you until your 12 week now?

I'm so over feeling/being sick now. I've actually had a cry over it. My head is a bit of a mess and I can't help feeling this feeling horrendous is all for nothing. If we have a bad outcome I don't think I can put myself through this again!
Argh I do believe my positivity has got up and left!

Zaberwocky · 26/04/2017 12:48

Oh Japan ! I'm so happy for you I'm crying Smile this is the best possible news ever!

Tootsy I'm exactly the same. You just feel so pathetic don't you? I don't have much advice but I completely understand how you feel. I'm just trying to get through an hour at a time Sad really struggling at work. I think I might use my flexitime to leave early today...

biginjapan · 26/04/2017 13:08

Thank you all so much. Zaber, your reaction is so sweet. I can't believe that I actually may have a tenacious tiny baby in there. If so it's a miracle as all the odds were stacked against it - particularly as I have been trying to persuade dh for 3 years to have another. He will come round and knows for sure that he will adore a baby. I think he is mostly worried about spreading himself too thin for the other 3dc.

Sorry to hear about increasing nausea and gagging - hope you are all managing to eat and rest.

Angielka · 26/04/2017 14:09

Such amazing news big and of course your DH will come round.

I am with you toots and zabe. Sick leave has saved my sanity. So fed up of feeling like this, but extra naps help. Only thrown up twice today and slept a lot. Be kind to yourselves Flowers

Zaberwocky · 26/04/2017 14:19

Angielka I'm really tempted to take some sick leave. It's not like I'm achieving much whilst I'm here! I feel so awful I'm not sure if it's with continuing with the tablets or not!

Japan well, I am probably a bit too ecstatic at the good news Grin try not to worry about the dates for now. Have they offered a follow up scan?

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/04/2017 14:51

Big that's awesome news. Hope you can have another scan before 12 weeks for your continued reassurance.

biginjapan · 26/04/2017 14:57

I'm going to book a scan at 7 1/2 weeks I think. Will then get nipt testing, so another at 10 weeks and will get nhs 12 weeks scan. Do you think that's excessive?

The dates thing is weird as she just said that it had grown as expected from last week so I guess the dates are wrong. Both scans abdominal, so I guess there is some margin of error (and I am far from slim...) I could see straight away that the sac was much bigger and then saw the embryo before she said anything. Amazing.

Feeling a bit more pregnant last 2 days which would also fit with being nearly 6 weeks.

Zaberwocky · 26/04/2017 15:11

JapanAngry HOW DID YOU GET AWAY WITH A NON VAGINAL SCAN?

You lucky bastard!

biginjapan · 26/04/2017 15:12

They didn't offer me one... I'm quite tubby and was surprised they could see so much - especially as last week I must have been about 4+5

leighdinglady · 26/04/2017 15:15

3pm lull ladies. Give me a virtual slap people, my eyes are drooping and work is boring

TootsyBella84 · 26/04/2017 15:19

Definitely not excessive if it's going to ease your anxiety about it all!
If everything is okay at my scan next week I'm not sure how I'm going to manage to wait another 5 weeks for the next one!
It is strange that they didn't do an internal one especially last week x

looby1304 · 26/04/2017 15:19

I'm just back from my booking in appointment, lots of questions but apparently I'm a very straightforward person! They took blood, urine sample and blood pressure and gave me some information.
Early scan on Sunday, midwife said it wasn't necessary at all but for my own piece of mind I'm still having it. Now I've just got to wait until the hospital write to me with my 12 week scan date.
I'm most grateful for the early finish from work because I'm shattered!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 26/04/2017 15:24

I'm going to phone the midwives after school. They say online the contact you within a week and it's been a week now. I'll feel more pregnant when I'm in the system

isitwinetimeyet16 · 26/04/2017 15:57

Aaah Japan that's AMAZING!!

I've booked another scan for a couple of weeks time when I'll be around nine and a half weeks - I think if all is good then I will be much happier!!

pauseplayrepeat · 26/04/2017 16:38

Just catching up and added myself to the spreadsheet. Feeling horrendously nausea most of the time now and had a few 'woe is me' moments the last few days. Just walked 10 mins to M&S to get a coronation chicken sandwich but was nearly sick in the queue, sweaty and dizzy. Ripped open the packet as soon as I paid like, well like a crazed pregnant woman.
I'm having the harmony test. Was worried bc of my age (38) and, I know this is illogical, bc I have 2 healthy DC that makes me worried something will be wrong with this baby. Mental!
Undecided on finding out gender, we didn't with my first 2. Have a boy and a girl and think I'd like girls to outnumber boys, but love my boy.
