Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Hi everyone, I missed out on checking in yesterday and missed so many messages! Huge good luck for your scan today @biginjapan, will be keeping fingers crossed for you.

I've talked my DH into letting me have another private scan before my 12 week one as I am still symptomless and so worried about it! I think I'm 7ish weeks now so I'll wait for 9 weeks and if I see everything is ok then I'll be much happier. I know I'm crazy!

biginjapan · 26/04/2017 06:12

Thanks wine. Very difficult morning with dh admitting that whilst he will be sad for me, he will be relieved if it's a blighted ovum. Really don't want him coming with me now knowing we are hoping for such different outcomes when we see the screen Sad

fishfingerSarnies · 26/04/2017 06:23

My eczema got loads worse with my daughter and disappeared with my sons pregnancy so not sure itchy is that reliable of a sign.
Dh woke my ds up on his way out to work so we are up early looking at pictures of motorbikes Hmm fun.
I think I'm starting to feel sick but that might just be because I'm tired. I'm sort of hoping for some light queasy feelings just to make me feel like I'm pregnant.

fishfingerSarnies · 26/04/2017 06:24

Oh big that's tough. Fingers crossed for you today.
What times your appointment?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 26/04/2017 06:34

Oh big, I don't know what to say to that. Hugs xx

GadgetgirlUk · 26/04/2017 06:43

@Biginjapan, sending big hugs xxxx

Carlotta82248 · 26/04/2017 06:44

@biginjapan I'm so sorry your husband feels like that, we're all thinking of you and have our fingers crossed for good news. Take care xxx

LapinR0se · 26/04/2017 06:50

big it is a stressful time. Just take one hour at a time until you get to the scan and only once you've had the appointment will you know how you both feel.
Take care

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/04/2017 07:35

Thinking of you today big. What time is your scan?

Marie90 you sound like you're describing me with the organising and planning.

My DH didn't want to know as said it was a surprise at the birth so why wait. I said like mamaloves that it's a surprise whenever you find out.

I have no preference at all over gender.

Angielka · 26/04/2017 07:38

Thinking of you biginjapan (by the way I start singing the song in my head every time I read your username Smile )

I have two DDs and I know DH would like a boy. We found out with the girls, and I think we'll find out this time too. Almost everyone in Belgium finds out - and I found it very difficult when the doctor knew, not to know myself!

leighdinglady · 26/04/2017 08:12

Good luck big. Bloody men. They say such stupid things.

TootsyBella84 · 26/04/2017 08:22

Thinking of you today big. I can't believe your husband would say this Sad keeping my fingers crossed for you.

So I've already been sick twice this morning, great. Time for the school/nursery run. Bleugh!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/04/2017 08:36

Place marking again as this thread moves so fast!
I'm 6+2 today. Other symptoms are there, bad skin, peeing a lot, tired, sore boobs but no sickness. I don't want the sickness but everywhere I read everyone had got it at 6 weeks. I don't want to be worried but I can't shake that something is wrong Sad

ExPresidents · 26/04/2017 08:37

Thinking of you big hope all goes well, try to put what your DH said out of your mind for now xx

Oysterbabe · 26/04/2017 08:39

Boggle I had no sickness at all with DD. Waiting to see what happens this time. It's nothing to worry about.

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/04/2017 08:44

Thanks Oyster. We've got a scan next week which I hope will be reassuring. It's just taken us almost 3 years and 10 rounds of clomid to conceive our little wonder so I'm more nervous than normal! Xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/04/2017 09:02

Boggle I'm exactly the same. So far I've had a bloated tummy (although it's gone down a bit now), bad spots on my face, dry skin on my hands, a few days of feeling a little nauseous and also early wake ups and feeling exhausted but no sickness at all! Having said that, I've mentioned a few times a friend who didn't know she was pregnant for 4 months and so clearly had no symptoms, so it's not unheard of! Don't worry. It seems fairly normal, although I'm finding it hard to not worry too so I do get where you're coming from. Smile

derryjojo · 26/04/2017 09:06

Wow this thread moves fast!
Good luck Big on your scan today

Peachi82 · 26/04/2017 09:07

Thanks for more links regarding the thyroxine, Lixon.
I hope I can speak to a doctor when I'm back home next week. My TSH was always well under 1 with medication (this was when all the symptoms disappeared), so even if it shoots up, there should be a bit of wiggle room.

Feel a bit nauseated today, and I think my boobs have grown even more.

I was able to tell my dad yesterday, he is terminally ill and hardly awake these days, but when I told him he opened his eyes and started crying. He told me he will try and pull through until December so he can meet his new grandchild. I know it's early to tell my family, but with this situation any bit of hope and good news is a blessing.

ExPresidents · 26/04/2017 09:09

peach that so lovely. I'm so sorry about your dad. I really hope he makes it to meet your little one but how lovely that he knows anyway x

glastogal · 26/04/2017 09:15

Boggle - I have hardly any symptoms either, no sickness at all! I'm 8+5 and had a very reassuring scan last week where I saw the heartbeat. I was worried about my lack of symptoms too but I think I'm just one of the lucky ones (I will probably have terrible cankles and horrific birth to make up for it!!)

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/04/2017 09:30

Thank you ladies for the reassurance. I also suspect I may be told I'm not as far along at my scan next week but hopefully I'll be at least 7 weeks. Roll on next Thursday!

leighdinglady · 26/04/2017 09:41

Boggle. My early scan is also next Thursday. 6.30pm. So excited/nervous. This week can't go quick enough

TootsyBella84 · 26/04/2017 09:49

Eek my early scan is next Tuesday. It's going soooo slow!

Beardy1 · 26/04/2017 10:06

japan what a difficult situation. I hope it goes okay today and you guys come to some resolution. Fingers crossed.

peach big hugs to you although a beautiful thing to experience telling your dad at such a difficult time. You will have that memory forever. Cherish it!

Midwife appointment soon. I'm very nervous. Eek!!
